The quality of service and product is terrible now. I pulled up and said hello and greeted with a smile feel like they are in customer service and they deal with a lot of people every day so to be plea or anyone working in must but I was greeted with no hello like that and not to mention the last time I was there and this time the product is just gone down considerably. I don't know if it's because they have a new coffee shop in town which is very great but Starbucks is known to have good service and a good product and this one here in Kentucky is horrible now I wouldn't recommend anybody to go here. read more

Pleasant and large location. Yes, service was a bit slow but our coffee was perfect. Besides being a bit slow, they were helpful and friendly. They have a good amount of merchandise, including the collection mugs from Kentucky and Tennessee, which I will get. I'm a sucker for those. We are staying in the area and this will be our coffee stop. They also have drive through, which is really convenient. read more

We were in town for a week and stopped at the drive thru almost every morning. Service was phenomenal and they were quick and efficient with getting our orders ready. We were here no less than 5 times and I truly have nothing negative to say. read more

Just passing through on a road trip from Nashville TN to Terre Haute IN. Large store, clean restrooms, fast service. Associates were friendly and talked to us about the area. Always friendly, only complaint has been a dog being in here one time I was here that was not a service dog! It jumped with its front feet on the counter. Grossed me out, and nobody said anything to the owner. The dog tried to come over to me and I scooted away. The Starbucks in Hopkinsville Ky is conveniently located right off of highway 41. Top notch customer service. The staff is polite and friendly. No matter what time of the day I arrive, my order is ready quickly. The lobby and restrooms are clean and kept tidy. Even though it is a 30min drive from my hometown, sometimes the wife and I will treat ourselves and we are never disappointed. read more

When the business is actually open food and drinks taste great. But that's the problem. It's NEVER OPEN. This review is based solely on that. Not sure how they're staying in business or how they can even consider themselves a functioning establishment when they take every opportunity possible to shut down. On a random weekday afternoon (it's not a holiday nor is weather bad), why are you closed? It's very frustrating to be an avid Starbucks drinker and constantly left disappointed upon arriving at the coffee shop. If this wasn't the ONLY Starbucks in Hopkinsville it wouldn't be as big of a problem as it is. Actually it still would because it gives the brand a bad name. Worst Starbucks ever. Before COVID they were slow and ran out of lids constantly. In the last month it takes over 1/2 hour to get a drink. It took me 3 tries to order a Grande Carmel latte-hot and a venti Carmel frapp with nonfat milk. When I asked the girl to repeat the order, she still had it wrong. Today after waiting 36 minutes....they ran out of Venti cups. They had some but said they are only for mobile orders. Is there even a manager at this place? Since this is the only Starbucks in town, How about building another one. This one can't handle it. read more

Update for 2014-2015 I've seen little improvement at this location. They're still very, very slow. Often they are out of ingredients or pastries, and also they get confused on which drinks are which. Obviously there is a management problem at this location. read more

Although the products were great, every time I go to this establishment it takes forever to get my order. Going inside is much faster although if you have a pickup order I've waited 10 extra minutes and then realizing my order was ready the entire time. I spent 22 minutes in the drive thru today just to get a pick up order. When I finally arrived at the window they had forgot a part of my order and I had to wait an additional couple of minutes to receive the last of my order. read more

What a great casual place to meet clients. A great environment to meet & conduct simple business or just sit, relax and chat. I have never had a bad experience whether inside or at the drive-thru. This is my new Starbucks, because it's generally a little quieter and can accommodate a lot more people than other locations. I love the covered patio, which is nice for chillaxin with an Arnold Palmer (aka shaken iced tea lemonade [un-sweet]). Well. Not today, because it feels like a freezer outside. But in July, it's perfect. Today, I drove past the pastures and barns I'm perpetually wishing I could pull over and photograph, pulled into the spacious lot, parked next to a gas station sign advertising liver and gizzards (ftw!), and walked inside. The baristas and customers alike are full of that particular charm you can't really get anywhere outside the South/(border states?). I don't think I'll ever really understand why people choose to live in Hopkinsville, but whenever I want to feel like I'm at the end of the world, yet just want to be somewhere familiar and welcoming at the same time, this Starbucks does the trick. (see also, The Little Tea Pot Cafe). I'm currently in a comfy chair, sipping a peppermint latte. It's chill. Up until now, they've been playing mod/British Blues, which I heart forever. (At the moment it's an acoustic cover of "25 or 6 to 4", but I'll forgive it). Also, if you need to get onto 65 N from Hop-town or Clarksville, this is the only place to get a decent dose of caffeine until Louisville, so I definitely recommend it for that reason alone. Ordered a tall caramel macchiato. Took my first sip a couple miles down the road to realize my cup was only 65% full. It's as though they put a the amount of coffee for a short drink in a tall cup and charged me for a tall. What a bummer. read more

No lowered cars***This Starbucks literally ruined my morning, the construction when you have to pull into the parking lot has ruined the entrance so bad there are two unavoidable pot holes that scrapped the underside of my front bumper, and yes I angled and went 2mpg over these holes. (I own a 5th gen camaro, not lowered but if it was damage would have been noticeable instead of a 1/2 inch scrape) no matter how small though it's enough to make me NEVER go back to this location. And to top it off the girl who took my order was so out of it she gave me Splenda instead of soy milk...so people have allergies to artificial sweeteners!! If it had been a coffee for my boyfriend instead of myself she would have killed him and I would be suing instead of just being extremely dissatisfied. read more

It is not a coincidence that whenever I come here it is filthy. I like to sit outside and the tables continue to be disgusting, garbage is always full and the floor is never swept. The inside is just as bad. The staff have been different so it must be an accepted standard to let the environment to be unclean. read more
