Every time I have visited this Starbucks, I always had to wait a ridiculously long amount of time for my drink. Going through the drive thru guarantees you'll get out sooner than going inside. Today, however, I was pleasantly surprised!!!! The kindness of the employees blew me away. That's the first time I've had a memorable and great experience with the cashier and baristas at this location. They were new faces, so I'm guessing that they hired a bunch of new employees who can manage better customer relations. Some other details: restrooms are always nasty. Location is always packed with people meeting, studying, or mingling. I'll definitely come back just because of the helpful and overall super nice staff which contributed to my great experience there today. read more

Dont waste your time coming to this Starbucks every time we come I ask for something and they dont have it.. Like today I came for a Molten Chocolate trio and they claimed they didnt have it last week I came and order some cake pops and they didnt have it just sad FALSE advertising I should sue them for this next time im just driving to the one in baytown.. :( read more

This is the only Starbucks in the area of North Shore and I can't stand going to the only one near home. The service is slow, the employees are rude and are always getting orders wrong. I've even seen them playing around and joking while costumers are clearly becoming impatient. This is a business not a playground. The line for the drive thru takes forever. but seriously it is so dirty! I have been to many Starbucks downtown and I honestly can see a difference in management and employees. I guess this is what happens when you hire kids for employees. I'm all for having a job at a young age, but if your not going to take a job seriously then you are wasting everyone's time and money. Ehh, not my favorite/best location. It's close to home and does the trick. However, the service is reaaaallllyy slow So, if you're pressed for time, don't go there. A simple Berry Refresher had me waiting around for almost 20 minutes until I gave up, asked for a refund, and left. read more

I ordered ahead on my mobile app which is supposed to cut down on the wait time. Unfortunately, this location doesn't give a crap if it's a "order ahead" order since they don't even start on it until after you get there!!! The point is to have it ready by time you get there!!! There was about 10-12 minutes between the time I ordered and the time I got here. Literally has been 15 min of me standing here waiting on my order to be fulfilled .. This particular Starbucks has THE WORST service. I've had multiple experiences that have been less than optimal at this location. Here's a summary for those who don't like to read: SLOOOOW. DO NOT GO if you are in any sort of timely schedule whatsoever. Here are some brief details: Mishap 1: Ordered my drink from the drive thru. Slow service, but tolerable. Received my drink hot inside of iced (this is Texas, afterall). Requested a corrected drink and went on my way. Mishap 2: Ordered my drink inside, hoping it would be quicker than the traditionally slow drive thru service. Waited 15 minutes and grew restless. Saw customers who came in AFTER me receiving their drinks. Asked barista if she had my ticket. She said that she didn't but then promptly made my drink. Okay, not ideal, but perhaps a technology glitch. Mishap 3: Again, ordered my drink inside hoping it would be quicker than the traditionally slow drive thru. Colossally mistaken assumption. Stood there eagerly waiting for my beverage. Watched the barista slowly perform her duties like she didn't even have a sense of time. Hellllooooo, maybe you don't care about YOUR job, but I'd like to get back to getting my own work done. I didn't actually say that, of course. Instead, I waited several more minutes (at this point 15 mins had passed). She proceeded to hand a drink to a young girl who came in 5-10 minutes after me. I was concerned at this point that my drink ticket got lost again. I asked the seemingly apathetic employee if she had a drink with my name on it and, sure enough, she confirmed she did. Mind you, I have literally been standing there staring at her for 15 mins already. You'd think she would've asked what I was waiting for...but no. This apparently is the way she always operates so she didn't find anything unusual about me standing there for so long. I explained to her that I had been waiting for some time, customers who came in long after me had already received their drinks, that this happened to me last time I was there, and asked if my beverage was being made next. Her response was that, yes, it's next, but that she had to make all the frappuccinos first. She proceeded to hand another iced drink (not frap) to a customer who came in after me. Then slowly made my drink. While observing the Starbucks employees for nearly 20 minutes, I had noticed that several other employees were just standing around doing nothing. One would hand drinks through the drive thru...when they were eventually made...others did nothing. So when she FINALLY handed me my drink, a full 20 minutes later, I curiously asked "are you the only one allowed to make drinks?"...to which she replied "yes." This simply baffled me, so I question if it's even true. So, to be clear, I don't know if this is an issue with Starbucks' policies themselves, this location, or this particular employee, but why the heck is only ONE employee "allowed" to make drinks? If the other employees are not trained as baristas, then why are so many of them "working" and not speeding the process along? Also, the barista really did have some frappuccinos she was making. So here are some suggestions: 1. Starbucks has a SEPARATE line/employee that is dedicated to making fraps. 2. Starbucks employs/schedules more people trained and allowed to make drinks...or hires employees who work well with others and don't control the process 3. Customers can do their part, too...those who want milkshakes need to go to a Sonic instead. The only reason I ever gave this Starbucks another chance is because it is conveniently located on my route. However, if I have to wait 20 minutes for my order then I might as well drive out to a different coffee shop. Heck, I could even go buy myself milk and fire up my own latte machine in that amount of time. read more

Horrible... They only have one smiling face in a sea of hate. They treat you as if you are unconvincing them into doing what they are paid to do. EVERY SINGLE VISIT, they have a crew member standing in line talking to the cashier about BS, holding it up for customers. Prepare to have 10+ mins sucked out of you day in this badly employed location. If they hate their job so much, why are they still working here??? read more

There is a reason this Starbucks has a 2 Star average. The staff is totally inept and the real problem with that is that they don't care and they are even snooty about how poor they perform. So, I work nights and my wife happened to be out and about around 10:00 pm and so I asked her to bring me a hot coffee to work. She was headed home, but she turned around and drove 5 miles back to this Starbucks to get me coffee. I had called the store before I had her turn around to be sure they were open. When my wife gets to the store at 10:40 pm and the girl at the drive thru tells her they don't have espresso (I get Americano with 5 shots); she said "we tore down our espresso machine at 10:30 because we close at 11:00." So my wife calls me with the news, and I call the store to complain and had the pleasure of dealing with "Jessica" the "night manager" who then informs me that their espresso machine "was acting up" and they "shut it down early..." I asked Jessica if she thought it would have been good information to pass along to me 15 minutes prior when I called to see if they were open and her response was "Uhhhhhhhhhhh...." End of story; avoid Wallisville Rd Starbucks, they are not ready for Prime Time. read more
