I have seen Dutch Bros Coffee popping up all over the place for the last few years, but I never got around to trying it. While running errands I decided to stop by and give them a try This location looks the same as other locations I've seen in the past. A simple yet trendy narrow dark blue building with a windmill on the sign There's a drive-thru and an order counter. You won't go inside to order, this is meant to be quick service, and it is. I got my order in a matter of minutes There were a few employees working inside this location, and they were all friendly, and they all appeared to be hard at work as there was a line wrapping around the building Some tips: Join their loyalty program to get rewards. On your birthday you can get a drink of your choice. I would recommend getting the large. Their coffee drinks are a little sweet for me, and if you're the same way you might tell them to hold back on some of those pumps. Lastly, they offer their own version of a pup cup (treat for you dog), and it's the best one I've seen so far. Starting to get bad. I decided to stop by yesterday to grab a coffee. Line past the ordering signs. Okay it's 1pm maybe just busy. So decided to return today at 10:55am. Even worse. Line literally out to the walk up window and parking lot packed. Dutch Bros used to be so easy to get a good coffee. Now it's becoming like Starbucks. Huge lines, slow service and losing value. I'm not sure if this location is facing staffing issues but this is becoming a real issue. read more

I had a coupon in the app for a half price drink. It was expiring that day, so I stopped in on my way to work. I didn't know it was the first day for the fall drinks and that's why the line was extremely long, but seemed to move at a decent pace. I was on my coffee run for today and decided to stop in to a place opposed to the one coffee shop with the green sign. That place of course is Dutch Bros. This particular location is my closer location to my home but it is similar in distance to another I go to. This is no too far from Houston Christian University formerly known as Houston Baptist University. This is my 2nd location of Dutch Bros I go to for some time now. I enjoy the area where it is placed, just a distance away from Chinatown. Today I got the seasonal iced caramel pumpkin brûlée brevé (I am out of breath from saying that haha). The drink is flavor full and a nice balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. I really enjoy the soft top. But in other visits I have also tried the cookie butter latte both freeze and iced. That one is a favorite of mine too. Overall I have really enjoyed my visits to Dutch Bros. I have drifted away a bit from the famous green lady place. One thing that keeps me coming back is just the atmosphere of Dutch Bros. I enjoy their culture and it's laid back. The Broistas/Braistas are nice, helpful, and make great suggestions whenever I stop by. I knew it was something unique when the music was great and positive energy all around. Soo excited they finally opened! This morning (Friday) it was packed, both in the drive-thru as well as people outside ordering at the window. The ordering process was a bit chaotic, but the Broistas were super duper friendly. The guy who took my order apologized for the inconvenience and made it a point to go and personally make my drink. The vibe here is so positive. Such a nice touch! I love how they offer whipped cream on their drinks. I had the Kicker - Irish cream flavored coffee with whipped cream. It was delicious! I kept hoping there was more left after I was finished. Will definitely be back as this will most likely be my new coffee go-to :) read more

My hair stylist suggested I try out Dutch Bros. She raves about it! Stating it's waaaayyy better than the green mermaid place lol. So I had to give it a try. Like me she's not a coffee drinker however on occasions we will have one. She suggested I try the Golden Eagle blended so I did. I got it I tried it so lets rate it (s/o to Keith Lee) Golden Eagle Blended 10/10: Great quality, not overly sweet, blended just right, the amount you're given is definitely worth the price. Went back a second time to try out the double rainbro lemonade the Broista suggested I try at my first trip. I got it I tried it so lets rate it (s/o to Keith Lee) Double Rainbro lemonade over ice: 10/10: fresh, perfect sweetness, not filled with ice, and large size for the price. Great cool down on a hot day! Third visit I tried the Golden Eagle over ice: 10/10. I'm not a huge coffee drinker so I purchased a small and it lasted me for two mornings(half one morning half the next). The Broristas are sooo cool, nice, helpful, and diligent! They made the experience great! 10/10 for their service. I plan to make a return visit to try their chai series! They have a nice selection of drinks for everyone! Shakes, smoothies, teas, coffee, lemonades, energy drinks, seasonal drinks, snacks, etc. Two lane drive through for ordering and a walk up window. This was 10/25 11PM, Heavy set Mexican male who was taking my order had terrible service. Had a huge attitude and not welcoming at all. Maybe because it was raining and he had to come outside to take orders but his service was the worst I've seen. This boy definitely needs re training due to his lack of service. read more

We've driven by this location before and never stopped. The parking lot was full, it was too new. Today we were in the area and drove by and the line was only 6 cars long and they had staff working the cars in line collecting orders, smooth! We were in and out post haste. The frozen blended thingys or as they call them...blended freezes...were great...we both got the caramel pumpkin brulee, tasty but way too many carbs, i'll default back to a hot cappuccino next time. read more

I come to this location every often and had nothing but great experiences everyone is friendly and they always have a smile. But today 3 out of the 4 female employees saw me standing at the pick up window and just completely ignored me. The only person that said something was the wonderful lady taking orders outside she came all the way around and asked me very politely to go through the drive through. The fact that I'm here 2 to 3 times a week is insane! But the drinks are just that good.!! A lot of times I am stopping in before work so it is about 6 to 6:30 in the morning the staff at that time even though I'm still trying to wake up, they are alive and at it and the service is great. There isn't an ambience because it is a drive-through or a walk up but the service and drinks are just amazing. They definitely have upbeat Starbucks if you ask me! Only downside to me is there's only a few locations in Houston so you kinda have to drive pretty far in order to get to one. They must be severely understaffed and/or wildly inefficient. I dont think i am coming back. Ive been to this location probably a dozen times. Recently, quality is down. They got my order wrong as i ordered a regular coffee latte, in which they gave me a chai latte. Not only that, but the chai had an aftertaste of metal. Dutch Bros has been a go to stop almost daily. This location I have been to a few times and so far they have the fastest service. They have drinks that are not listed on the regular menu that can be ordered through out the year. I really enjoy the hazelnut truffle which is only on the menu during the winter months. An added benefit is that it already comes with soft top! If you have never been here, it blows Starbucks out of the water. read more

Tried Dutch Bros, and they are okay. I had a churro frappe, and it was thick and tasty. I placed my order via walk up instead of drive thru, and the wait was a bit long . The staff are nice and helpful but they move very, very slow . For me personally, this was a one-time, last time try for me . I think it's because I'm spoiled by starbucks . i come to this location about once a week because it's the closest and on route to school and i've never had any issues regarding my order, everything always tastes amazing and spot on however, they take AGESSSS. i don't recommend coming here unless you have at least an hour of time. the line takes about 40 minutes (i wish i was lying) and it's one of those places that have cement curbs near the lines so u can't just change your mind and leave the line- once you're in the line, u have to stay. even if there's only 3-5 cars in front, you should definitely expect a long wait , even if you place a mobile order read more

Every time I've come it's taken at least 15 minutes, many times 20-25, to get your drink. I understand kinks are still being worked out but when half of the drive thru line ends up leaving without their drinks after they have already paid because it's taking too long, it might be time to reevaluate things.
