This visit was especially exciting because this location is currently testing their new matcha. The Broista explained that it's made with real ceremonial matcha that's whisked fresh, rather than the matcha syrup they used in the past. It's one of the two locations in Texas that are offering it! I highly recommend giving it a try if it's available. There are several flavor options to choose from, and I'm really hoping it makes its way onto the permanent menu. I used to love their peach matcha, so it's exciting to see matcha getting some attention again. Service was great as always. I don't even know why I bother coming here still. The coffee just doesn't have any taste to me. All you taste is the oat milk. It's like they are in such a rush they don't put flavor in the coffee. Like someone else mentioned, you're better off going through the drive thru. Don't bother doing a pick up order it won't get made till much later. No one is focusing on any orders when you walk up. Me and two other people ordered once. I timed how long the drink was going to take. This was a rebel which is just them getting ice, pouring the can in the cup and adding flavor. While they got the flavor right, it took them 18 minutes to make one drink. Cars that arrived after me left before I did. I missed 3 busses. Believe it or not but this was my first time at Dutch Bros, a coffee shop now in 25 states in the United States. I'll admit that I was influenced to visit since this location is convenient to me and I heard that they have some pretty sweet perks through their rewards program on their app. To start out with, this physical location gives me ANXIETY! I stopped by in the late morning and the double lane drive through was packed, I almost was unable to pull off the street into the driveway. There are a few parking spots along the building for mobile order pick up and counter order service and all of these cars were blocked in by the drive through traffic. An older couple who had walked up to get their coffee was nice enough to start directing traffic in the lot to help these people get out. They honestly might want to consider getting a full time traffic control employee or adjusting the parking location. Ok, now coffee and service. I'm not into sweet drinks and noticed almost everything is super sugary sweet, mochas, brown butter chocolate, caramel freeze, white chocolate, etc, so I was relieved to see that you can still order basic cold brew, latte, or americano. They also have a ton of options to customize your drink from syrups to creamers, including nondairy options. I went with an iced latte with almond milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. The drink was pretty good but a tad sweet for my taste. Next time I would probably skip the sugar free syrup. I went with a medium and it felt pretty big so you definitely get your money's worth. While the parking lot and drive through experience was stressful, the staff were all super nice. The employee taking orders at the drive through line was really polite and patient and the staff at the window were also very upbeat despite being super busy. Overall, I would come back but definitely would try to avoid peak coffee time hours. read more

Friendly is an understatement when it comes to my service today. Isaac was chipper from the moment I met him. He listened to the fact that I didn't want a coffee drink this afternoon. He recommended a passion water lemonade with a raspberry floater. It was a little sweet but honestly really good. It wasn't anything I'd normally but I think that's what I liked about it. The line was only one car ahead of me mid afternoon which shocked me considering the location. I am glad it wasn't so hectic as the other locations. The cars that were in line when I first arrived were long gone. When I asked about my drinks because everyone after me got theirs - it was a dry apology and then when I asked to just cancel and for the receipt for the refund, the guy who gave it to me was not very nice nor apologetic. I discovered Dutch Bros in Vegas and literally went 19 days straight and have always experienced great service but here in Houston, the service is always mediocre or bad. Man I miss Vegas. I refuse to let them steal my joy today! Oh and their response for why I was skipped was "everyone's orders are behind" but it's now been 20mins and still no drink and everyone else has theirs. The merging lane concept is hard for some customers. When I went the majority were on the left lane, which is a logical conclusion so as to not upset others that arrived before. However, it also doesn't help that the employees don't provide direction or encouragement so that drive though customers can allocate themselves appropriately and place their order in a "zigg zagg" manner. read more

Went for the first time a few weeks ago ad have been back several times since. The service was fast and everyone was super nice and helpful. The drinks I have tried have been delicious and I like the ability you have to customize every aspect. New favorite of mine is the Golden Eagle with Protein Milk. My only real complaints are I wish it was accessible from both streets and had more space for the drive through line/parking. I also woudl love to see more diversity in the coffee-like drinks such as having Matcha options. read more

Worst and first bad experience at a Dutch bros /: Had to wait 10 mins for the guy at the front to stop horse playing with his friends to order and asked for a cold brew with sugar free salted caramel syrup and an iced almond milk latte. He proceeds to charge me for three drinks: a cold brew, a sugar free salted caramel latte (which tastes like straight up milk) and the iced almond milk latte. When I told him the order was wrong and asked if he charged me for all 3 he just stared at me blankly. Safe to say I won't be revisiting. read more

Although the service was friendly, we waited in line with probably six or seven cars in front of us and waited 45 minutes to 60 minutes to get coffee!! This was two days in a row! They apologized profusely, but the bottom line is they're are either not enough people inside making the coffee and/or they're inefficient. They were professional and kind when we got to the window, but seemed to be distracted inside and not very efficient . You really need to check out the model of 7 Brew. They usually have four people taking orders and only TWO coffee centers, (rather than THREE as this Dutch Bros) ) but the line moves quickly, even in a long line! We have been at 7 Brew (north Davis, Highway in Pensacola Florida and many other locations while traveling where cars are spilling into street the at various times and it STILL takes maybe 15 minutes at the most, and on most days it takes only five minutes. I have never seen such efficiency and I have been going there every day for a year. Also, Chick-fil-A in our area (and many others I've been to when traveling is the same way. They have double lines every day with lines extending into the street and it takes, AT MOST, 15-20 min to receive one's order. At this Dutch Brothers, we waited 45 minutes to an hour even when there's only six people in front of us. Again, they are super friendly here, and they explain that there is only one person making coffee for the line as there is one for walk-ups but this should not be the case. The car line for coffee was much much longer than the walk- up traffic AND one of the employees that took our order said that there are three working machines making coffee. If that is true, there should not be this wait time. I don't think I'll be able to come again because I don't have 45 minutes to one hour to wait in line for coffee in the morning but I did enjoy my coffee there. : ) read more
