I have visited hundreds of Starbucks locations worldwide and evaluate each store through three lenses: its setting, its atmosphere, and its customer interaction. Most assessments are based on extended visits--typically over five hours per location--observing how the space operates throughout the day. When time-constrained, I evaluate the store through the efficiency and quality of the To-Go experience. Reviewing both formats provides a complete view of performance. Although many locations follow the same operating model, meaningful differences appear in execution. The most consistent variable is staff engagement. In most stores, baristas actively shape the customer experience; only a small number simply going through the motions. Let's grab your favorite beverage and explore this location together. NEARBY: 4-Star If you're traveling I-45 Southbound, it's right off exit 59. Near this location is mini strip mall with shopping, and dinning. If you're traveling by air, it's conveniently located 15 minutes from IAH Airport. I stopped by for few hours after dropping off family. AMBIENCE: 4-Star Looking at it from the outside it's clean with small patio seating facing the highway. Parking lot is decent size, including additional spaces around the building, shared with other businesses. During peak hours, expect Drive-Thru lines to be long, wrapping around the building and blocking your parked vehicle(s). Once you step inside, you will be greeted by baristas who are busy keeping up with peak hours orders. Being that it was a weekend, they were getting influx of customers every twenty minutes, sometimes lining up from the outside. Since one of their main doors was broken, they had a sign directing everyone to use the door by the patio. Upon entering, you will see Mobile Order counter on your left side. On your right, they offer three round tables and six chairs. To place your order, go straight towards the merchandise shelves. Expect to be waiting at least fifteen minutes in peak times. The lines inside were long and it was partially due to customers unaware which line to stand behind. Some were waiting to pick up their orders while some waiting to place their orders. They do offer additional seating by merchandise shelves. Couch-like seating with outlets, few tables and chairs. I would have stayed here longer, but their Wi-Fi was extremely spotty. I would not recommend this location if you're coming to work. A CUP OF PATRON CARE: 4-Star The baristas overall did a great job accommodating each customer. Regardless of being extremely busy, they were efficient and well staffed with at least ten baristas. I observed the greeting of customers. It felt more forced than genuine. Which I don't blame the baristas nor complaining. They are too busy making orders right and efficiently and are expected to greet every single customer. Being polite is nice, but there needs to be a perfect balance between baristas and customers. This cafe is seeing somewhat lack of care from cleaning perspective. They were so busy here that they had no staff to come and clean the restrooms or empty trash cans that were getting full. Same goes for inside cafe space. Here, they focus more on drink and food orders instead of balancing between keeping cafe clean and preparing orders. Again, not necessarily a bad thing, considering I was one of the few sitting awhile and working. The restroom towel dispenser was loose and looked like it's been neglected for a while. The wall portion bellow it has seen neglect too, from all the wet hands grabbing towels. I would give this location 4 stars. read more

But the service is terrible the barista told me that my banana bread was coming out, so I waited 16 more minutes it didn't come out so I asked an other employee and he said oh we don't have that bread we ran out but he was better than her and he gave me a refund. This is the Starbucks I always come here to grab my drink it's the best one near my house and the staff is great and friendly quick with your orders and gets your drinks correctly the place is nice and clean with a lot of space for people to sit and talk or study but the one thing that employees might want to improve is on keeping the place clean and table wiped and chairs stacked in the table maybe some mopping too I noticed my come in the store. This was a busy Starbucks restaurant. We stopped by around 9am and they had lines at the drive thru and inside. As we were ordering, the lady taking the order was preoccupied doing other things, walked away mid order without saying a word to us. We stood there bewildered as to why she walked away. Food came out pretty quickly the drinks took a while as there were so many customers. I did notice what seemed to be the manager doing an interview and what appeared to be a corporate person with Starbucks using tables which took away from the customers. Both the manager and corporate person were at separate tables leaving less space for paying customers. Not to mention how busy they were neither person were helping expedite. This store is always busy but I do tend to go to this one because it is close to my commute to work and the workers can be pretty friendly. Recently I can tell there's been a lot of changes in staffing and I think there might have been some steps missed in their training maybe? There's this girl I saw yesterday with the contacts in and she was moving all over the place very carelessly and I could tell she was making everyone uncomfortable yet none of the workers seemed willing to speak up which is what made me want to write this. Recently when she's there the mood is so much more different and not in a good way. She was disturbing the workers so much that I saw that she almost made one of them spill steamed milk on themselves??? Like how you work with hot fluids and not know to be mindful of your surroundings? Love this Starbucks, the customer service is great because of the amazing staff I have nothing but great things to say about them. The food is as expected from Starbucks I don't like it but to each their own. The drinks are lowkey better than most locations tbh. The ambiance is always busy but that's to be expected from the busiest Starbucks in the district. To all the bad reviews, these ppl just doing their jobs lol the location is always busy and yet understaffed so if you think they might be stressed maybe that's why. If you're not willing to wait for Hand Crafted Beverages even when there are so many orders coming through then don't go lol. If you want efficiency then go to McDonald's since they use machines for them you can't expect a persons touch and robotic efficiency at the same time. I have very much mixed feelings about this location. The staff is wonderful especially the morning crew. They are always upbeat and friendly. However, the drive through window area needs some cleaning. I can't believe they are not cleaning the exterior of the building where the food passes through the window. I ran through it pretty quickly but bc it wasn't as flavorful as usual I just got a water while I continued handling my business. Legit the worst Starbucks ever. I placed my order they were not friendly. I asked for whip on my coffee frap because I know it doesn't come with whip cream automatically. When I get my drink it doesn't have whip so I politely ask, can I get whip in this please. The worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Any time I come, it doesn't matter if there's only 1-2 people in line and waiting, they take too long to make your order. This previous time it took 50 minutes for me to get ONE regular hot mocha. Nothing added, nothing removed nor substituted. I've tried ordering in person, ordering on the mobile app (which says 5-7 minutes to fulfill), and even drive thru and it always take so long. Most employees are also seen joking around and chatting to each other when they have the entire place full of people waiting. I get enjoying your time at work and taking breaks when needed, but this is just over the top. They have areas to sit both inside and outside but most of the time they are occupied by people just waiting on their orders so you can rarely sit down and study or enjoy the coffee.
