The customer service hasn't been great, and my drinks are often made incorrectly or not up to standard--especially when compared to ordering the exact same drink at other locations. I went to this location bc it was the closest to the kingwood hospital, I ordered a venti drink, a bottle water and a apple croissant! the drive through people weren't friendly and they gave me my drinks but not the food. Once realized I didn't get it I called to the store. I explained to the lady and the she transferred me to her manager i'm assuming it was a gentleman that was of no help and NOT the tone of good customer service what so ever! I am not around here so I can not go back for a refund or to pick up the food but that was the only suggestion to me, but again not in a friendly way. It's the neighborhood joint. Close to my place so there's the convenience factor. The issue however is the waiting time, particularly when you go inside. If you haven't figured it out by now, preference is given to the drive-thru. More money! It's always about the almighty dollar. So, we put up with it. Went by Sunday and the place was filthy. I was here for a bidness meeting. This is a busy location. The drive-thru lane snakes through the actual parking lot for people who walk in to the shop to see and hashtag be-seen so when you try to leave you get boxed in for 30 minutes by the large number of idjits in the drive-thru line who block you rather than leaving you space to get out each time they inch forward - I hope the barista spit in some of you peoples' drinks just for that if not also for some other things for good measure. Inside the shop was incredibly loud. We were having to shout at each other to be heard like it was a gat dang club you were up in getting bottle service and we were sitting next to each other so it is not like distance was an issue that could have easily been resolved since some problems do have simple solutions. That is not a peaceful coffeeshop experience. Since there was so much foot traffic the men's restroom was also filthy and looks like it had not been cleaned in some time. If you were on a bender and woke up here three years later you could not distinguish it from the one down at the Greyhound. It was so loud inside we ended up going outside so we could finish a conversation without shouting and asking each other to repeat things. All of the tables outside were sticky like there had been a frappuccino throwing party out here just before we sat down. I have never seen outside tables that dirty, that uniformly, so I feel like someone or persons did this on purpose. Someone should just hook up a hose and hose down everything out there and that would be an upgrayedd. This location should suffer a fate so cursed as to be located in Kingwoo ... wait. read more

I have frequented this Starbucks for the past three years and I have always been disappointed, the drinks are never up to standards and the customer service is blah. Frappes are usually thin watery not frozen slushes and hot drinks taste watered down. Also they seem to always be out of a main ingredient, for instance if I order a Creme brûlée Frappuccino, which is a frozen drink with whipped cream and pieces of creme brûlée sprinkled on top, the creme brûlée is missing. Instead of telling me that they were out of the main ingredient upon ordering, they hand me the drink with the obvious missing ingredient and wait until I am shocked and ask where it is. I could have changed my order before waiting in the long line just to be disappointed. Not cool. Here's to hoping that the new year brings better Starbucks, for some reason I get a ton of gift cards for this place every Christmas, damn stocking stuffers. read more

I came through the drive through with my boyfriend and we wanted to try some "surprise me" drinks as we've seen on the internet where the barista gets to customize and create a drink for the guest. We wanted to try something new and fun. When we get to the intercom and Sev took our order. We asked for the drinks and he was extremely rude. He didn't ask if we wanted it iced or hot or if we wanted coffee as we expected. When we get to the window we see he made two hot drinks which isn't what we were asking for. We asked if they could please be iced drinks and he replied "oh..well they're already made" "do you want me to remake them?" He remade them after we expressed we'd like them to be iced. As he gives us our new drinks he then tell us to "never order like this again". Sev was SO rude during this whole thing and he honestly seemed like he hated his job and as if he was depressed. His customer service was very poor and should go through training for such thing so other guests can avoid the same thing we did. We were just looking for a fun new experience at Starbucks and honestly received the complete opposite. UPDATE:I spoke to the manager on duty for the mid shift and he was absolutely amazing and very helpful! He apologized for the poor experience and said he was going to talk to Sev. I was very upset at first but after talking to him he made me feel much better about the whole ordeal. Thank you so much to the management! read more

I mean where do I begin with this location? I've tried countless times to give them chances to make my coffee right. What I find interestingly enough is that when they mess the coffee up and you bring it to there attention to make you another they give you an attitude as if you did something wrong. Excuse me but I paid MY MONEY for the coffee the way it SHOULD be made. Starbucks is paying you to do your job and to offer me a service. Get over it. These people really don't care for there customers nor the quality of a well made coffee. I think I'll bring my business too the Northpark location from now on. I'm not sure if I should blame this store in particular because the salads are prepackaged when they arrive at the store , so I am not going to give a low star rating still my favorite Starbucks , managements always so caring and they work so quickly , I drive from Northpark to Kingwood drive to go here the lines are way shorter and less wait time , this place rocks at the speed you get your coffee and always made perfectly . However waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes. When I paid it was 5:19pm and the cashier said sorry offer ended at 5pm. I told her I was in the car line for that long and no reply. My friend and I were treated very rudely at this location by a worker who appeared to be the manager. We asked a polite question about seating since it was raining and were met with this response: "Can't you see the signs?" The sarcasm continued until we finally decided to get our coffee elsewhere. This location is my favorite Starbucks in the area. Their outdoor seating is refreshing (unless there are a lot of smokers) and generally pretty cool with good tree cover and umbrellas. They have ample indoor seating with quite a few nooks you can hole away from an hour to enjoy your coffee and catch up on emails. They have electrical outlets, comfy seating, and quite a few tables. My family and i had a great customer service experience yesterday going through the drive-through. We brought our dog along (for a puppaccino, obvs) and the sweet barista, Faith, was probably more excited than my dog that she was at Starbucks. Faith served us with a smile, offered us water while we waited on our order, and frequently told my dog, Moxie, how cute she was. Our drinks were tasty and the customer service was 12/10. read more

This Starbucks is my favorite ever! The staff is always so nice. There is a male employee (the manager I'm assuming) who always keeps his coworkers upbeat and he makes funny jokes. They are extremely accommodating too. One day I asked them to microwave my drink because I let it get cold, and they made me a brand new one! Never too crowded to find a seat either. Starbucks and I go way back. I used to work for the company for many years and have visited locations across the globe. Because of this I have become very particular about what I look for in a "great" store. Ambience, consistency and friendliness are the top three factors I look for, and this location hits each nail on the head. The location is very cozy, with different types of seating to suit all needs (armchairs, long community table, and the standard 2-4 top tables inside and out). The drinks are made perfect every time I've been there, and the staff goes above and beyond to be friendly and personable with each customer. Some times while working I end up hanging around for hours (getting lots of free refills in the process), and not once have I ever felt that I had worn out my welcome. I've only been here once helping an elder customer run errands so I can only speak to the service which was above and beyond anything you see most places in and around Houston. This old fella had never been to Starbucks and wanted to know what all the fuss was about, well after all the laptop crowd quit their gawking and guffawing at his questions about the menu the barista like stepped back in time for this guy explaining everything and making sure he was ordering the coffee he wanted and doing so with utmost courteousness and polite professional service. So, this place is fine, as far as a Starbucks goes. No complaints about the drinks, but the smell when you walk in! I would typically be greeted with the amazing aroma of espresso... But not here! This place is terrible! It doesn't seem that they actually put coffee in their coffee. The lattes are just super sweet milk & half your cup is foam. Not sure what the problem is since Starbucks is a chain & the recipes are the same coast to coast. I am always disappointed when I leave here. This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever visited. On multiple occasions, I have ordered a drink in the drive-through line on my way to work and had to wait 15-20 minutes for my drink. I would have left if I hadn't been stuck in the line. The staff of too chatty and don't realize people have places to be early in the morning. It's one thing to be friendly and another to have no disregard for people's time. Also, if the staff was allocated and trained properly, the place would run much more efficiently. There should always be two baristas staffed during high traffic times. I think the main holdup is when there is one barista fulfilling all the orders. read more
