This Starbucks has a teeny wittle bitty parking lot it has to share with a nail salon and a frozen yogurt place. Add in the long coiling snake of cars in the Starbucks drive thru, and you've got a bonafide traffic jam. However, this location prioritizes walk-in customers over the drive-thru, so if you manage to park and come inside (in my experience) you get your order in under 10 minutes. The inside of this location was clean and organized, if anything is a little more spacious than some S'bucks. Quick and easy.... if you can land a coveted parking spot. Otherwise, enjoy your wait in the drive-thru.

I've been to the Starbucks at least a dozen times. And I love having a Starbucks so close in this area! This Starbucks definitely has your typical wait times! For sure, every weekday around 845 through about 9:30 AM, you cannot not expect a wait in the drive-through, let alone inside. During the school year, Thursday mornings are even longer, because seniors have had the morning off in the past. Or, it was late arrival or something. As far as service, they're doing their best with the amount of people coming in this area. You have to understand that if there is only one Starbucks in an extremely rapidly growing area, you have to expect to wait. I believe that they've gotten my order 99% of the time correct. I also like the fact that, even if I'm a drive through regular, they already know my order! They're very pleasant, friendly, and I have never once had to complain about their service. And by the way, I am a very difficult customer, because I am too lazy to go inside and look at all of their food items. So, extra props for the effort and looking through all of the food items and having to deal with wishy-washy customers!

Very friendly staff, beautiful spacious location, and very rare for them to be sold out of something. Nice location !

Hot Jasmine green tea w/ginger & honey was very good. Vietnamese Coffee was excellent. Don't pass this place up, the name is a little confusing but honestly is the only reason why I was able to get a seat at lunch today. Absolutely phenomenal!

But drinks, spring rolls, banh mi, vermicelli/rice plates are also their jam. Definitely on the pricier side for Vietnamese food and not truly authentic (but guess it's pretty far from Alief / Bellaire here), but I enjoyed the flavors anyways! ** 5 spice tofu vermicelli: this beautiful plate came with big fluffy pieces of tofu that were nicely fried, but the tofu itself had only a hint of the 5 spice flavor. It came with a very sweet, light fish sauce (?) that amped up the flavor, and there are sriracha and hoisin sauces on each table if needed. The medley of carrots, cabbage, and cilantro added some crunch and color. It wasn't oily or overly filling, and I'm happy I tried it :) ** BBQ pork banh mi: solid banh mi with some pickled veggies inside. Take out the jalepeno if you don't like spicy! The pork is a little on the fattier side. We added a fried egg as suggested by the staff (man, eggs are expensive right now!), and it was a little overcooked since we usually like the slightly runny yolk for banh mi. The bread wasn't overly crispy that it poked the roof of your mouth. ** Shrimp tempura: more of a fried shrimp than the Japanese tempura style, but still tasty! These came piping hot with pickled carrots too. Doesn't taste very "shrimpy," which may be good depending on who you ask. It's a clean and sort of fun, airy atmosphere. You order at the cashier first and the water, utensils, boxes, etc are self-serve. The staff were friendly. Definitely bring a jacket-- they had fans circulating cold air and it was chilly! Would return for their lunch offerings if in the area and to try the drinks and bubble waffles :D

TLDR: Worth a visit if you're in the area?…read more Wow! Hidden gem? Forgotten favorite? I don't know, but after tasting the food, we have to get the word out about this spot. Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods. Positive experience all around. My tip: Order the tomato soup and finish your meal with the following combo- a dessert Crepe Almonds with strawberries. Trust me on that one!
