Meh. Typical franchised cafe. People drinking uber-sweet calorie bombs that (to me) don't even taste like there's any coffee in them. They do leave a nice dent in your wallet, though. Still can't figure out why NOBODY brings their own cup or gets the free tall with an empty bag of coffee but then, these same people never brew their own and believe there's no such thing as global warming or true sustainability. *update* went back today. Order still wrong. Frap was right, but ordered a tosted Banana nut bread & they gave me a cold Pumpkin bread! I also had to ask for a straw foe my frap! I blame the drive thu cashier this time. He seemed distracted. Like another reviewer, the only reason I'm leaving 2 stars is because the people (at least in the drive-thru) are often nice. However, I've made the mistake of tipping before getting my order, and this location often gets the order wrong! Today I ordered two venti lattes, & they gave me two grandes. Even though I paid for venti. Even if you go inside they get it wrong! Once I asked for the egg and cheese snack tray, they gave me something else! If you go to this location, just double, even tripple check. I understand they're busy & under a lot of stress, but take a deep breath & get the order right! They're slow anyways, so while you're taking your time, make sure the order is right! I'd wait until you get your order to tipas well! read more

The main complaint I have with this Starbucks is how noisy and obnoxious most of the employees are. I go in to Starbucks mainly for a semi isolated/quiet place to work on homework and such but it's nearly impossible because the employees feel the need to talk about things that probably shouldn't be talked about in front of customers to begin with. The evening crew on Thursday June 14 was made up of 4 employees, my friends and I love to come here to hang out and we usually get great service earlier in the week, anyways, today was different. They were very rude since we walked in and ordered, when they were giving out the drinks they didn't bother to call out our names or make eye contact with us , they put the drinks out and expected us to figure out our drinks. We also ordered pastries and they forgot to give it to us so when we asked for them they threw them on the counter. We went back in to order waters and again with the same attitude, they threw them to us and it almost slid off the counter . We love coming here and we're friendly with the staff. I often wondered why people rated chain restaurants and now I know. It's because not all chains are created equal. This Starbucks sucks and the real differentiating factor is the employees. They are always too busy bullshitting amongst themselves to promptly serve customers and what really kills me is that it happens frequently for the customers who are walk ins. I've had to wait 10 minutes for a bag of coffee to be ground. I just stopped by today....it's July in Houston, it's post-lunch and they're out of cold brew. WTF?! I go to this location all the time because it is the closest to my house. The baristas always make my drinks right and are never too busy to make small talk. They do tend to get quite busy, but their drive thru lines move quickly, so I never get frustrated waiting for orders. Coco is my favorite barista! read more

I enjoy the coffee but the process of attaining a cup of coffee thru the drive thru is grueling. First of all you cannot get through the traffic at the little Cesar's drive thru to get to the Starbucks drive thru which discourages me from even attempting it and I am sure it is directly impacting Starbucks drive thru sales. Starbucks come up with a solution to this issue maybe Little Cesar's can set up cones for its drive thru so that some of us who enjoy coffee can do so as conveniently as those who enjoy low quality pizza. read more

This is the worst Starbucks ever! I have contacted the 1-800 Starbucks # to complain, the regional/district manager, and the store manager CHIP, and nothing has changed! They continue to have no freshly brewed coffee for us traditional black coffee drinkers, the employees aren't friendly, the place is a mess, and just an overall bad Starbucks. I only go there out of sheer desperation when my old Keurig is acting up and it seems like a chore to get some plain coffee. I have to leave my house an extra 15 or so minutes early to plan for the bad service and having to wait to get some fresh coffee. I would love to speak with another manager about this place and ways to improve it. There are 6 employees. 1 cashier for walk in, 1 cashier for drive through and 1 girl making drinks. The rest are cleaning and talking in the back. Been here 15 minutes now.
