This Starbucks location is right near the Johnson Creek Outlets. It was the sole coffee house we could find in close proximity to the outlets (we were wanting some coffee for the drive home). There are restaurants that serve coffee but as far as grab and go espresso beverages, this seems to be it. As with most Starbucks now, it has a drive through, which is always convenient in grab and go situations. Our party of four was able to get through and caffeinated in a blink. Everyone was kind and our drinks were the usual level of good! It's Starbucks, it's not going to knock your socks off--but no complaints here! read more

I am always extremely satisfied with my customer service at any Starbucks location, but unfortunately this was not the case at this location. I placed a mobile order in a parking lot of a store and then drove over to grab it, fully aware that it would not be done the second I pulled up. It's mid-afternoon, there's no cars in the drive-thru line and I can't see any customers in the shop, but for some reason the barista had to chastise me for getting to the shop too early and to give them more time next time, which made no sense because I in no way showed dissatisfaction that it was not done yet, I simply told them I placed a mobile order to pick up. With such a great location right off the highway, it's a shame the customer service can't be better, and this appears not to be the first time after reading the reviews. read more

So the food here is decent I've never had an issue with that. What I have had an issue for is the hours. I get there is staffing issues but I've been there where they have closed anywhere from 2pm or later. If there is serious staffing issues at least updating the website or making an online post to let people know that you have to close ridiculously early would be nice. This Starbies is a bit of a hot mess. I have lived here for 3 years and have previously liked this location, but things have recently gone down hill. Unfortunately, this is the only location within a 15 mile radius, and it's about a 20 minute drive for me. In the last 3 months, I have driven here 5 times only to find a note posted saying, "sorry, we closed early today." I have met many other angry customers, and I even know several people who made a mobile order and arrived for pick-up only to find they had closed. No refund was offered. If and when this location does happen to be open for its listed hours of operation, there is usually a long wait--at least 30 to 45 minutes. I gave two stars because, in my experience, my drinks have always been made correctly and the baristas have been nice--though not everyone can say the same. From now on, I will be driving the extra distance to Oconomowoc and I suggest others do the same. read more

Barb, the manager, was condescending when I asked a question about my order. I ordered ahead and was quoted 20 minutes and showed up 35 minutes later. I understand they're busy so that wasn't my concern. Only one drink was ready but it looked to me like someone took one of mine since there was a similar one with a different name, much later print time, and the only one left with that name but with a 1/2 sticker on it. I asked about it since I didn't want to inconvenience anyone else and I was met with a tone meant for a toddler. She wasn't interested in what I was asking - interrupted me and would only ask "what can I make you?" I told her the order - and I had to leave after being spoken to that way. I left my partner to collect his drink when it was ready. They made it wrong. Obviously we didn't say anything as a simple question set Barb off. Spoke with Starbucks customer service and found out it's my responsibility to reach out to a district manager on a 1-800 number - they don't follow up on recorded complaints. For a company that's supposed to have five star customer service, do better and treat everyone with respect. This Starbucks consistently disappoints me. Their drinks never taste as good as other locations, and the hours are never consistent. I just waited in line for 10 minutes to not be served because it was 1:31 and the hours for today were only until 1:30. Not only was the lady very rude about it but I was the last car in line. Wild experience, it's bogus that Starbucks default for an iced coffee has sweetener, but in every other Starbucks I've been to they ask if you would like it sweetened or unsweetened. The cashier did not, the drink was made with sweetener, so I asked if they could make it without. The barista said "yea you didn't ask for no sweetner....(Long pause) *passive aggressively* do you want me to remake it?" Then takes the cup, empties it, pours more cold brew into the old cup, dumps it out, puts it on the spray cleaner, gets a new cup and makes the new drink. I have gone to creek at least 3 times recently to wait at the window for someone to finally say. We're closed at 2 in the afternoon. Yesterday was going through the drive through to have someone taking garbage out on the drivethru coming towards me but not getting off, so I backed up. She said "drive thru is closed" I asked if they were open, "no we closed at 2:30." Why?! I drove past, there was at least 4 people in there.. Went in there yesterday. Asked for a tall decaf and a tall regular. They were out of decaf just like the last time I was in there. They offered to make a decaf Americano, which apparently they forgot to do, as I asked for it 3 times. On the third attempt, they put hot water in a cup of coffee and handed it to me. I went back and asked for a cup of regular Pike's Peak. That pot was empty. I said a cup of dark was fine. No apology. Just thrust it at me. Would not recommend. read more

A lot of people fail to realize that this place is overworked and understaffed. Yes they do close at random times, but they usually have a sign saying so. I woke up Walmart at about seven morning in Jefferson in Cruze over to get myself an iced coffee and something to eat as usual when I pulled up steroids nobody in the parking lot in a sign on the drive through that side and we adjusted our hours for today from 730 till five. Who in the hell get coffee at 7:30 in the morning people do you wake up before the person wanting to open I'm assuming, this by far is the most unprofessional inconvenient of a Starbucks I've ever dealt with. I stopped coming here because I liked the coffee better in Jefferson, less wait, employees professional and polite, locally owned not mega-monster business. Came in last week and asked for "the pink drink". Employee said she was new and never heard of it. (I had it in LA 2 yrs ago, was "secret menu".) Asked her to ask another employee, she did, they never heard of it, either. Came in today- it is ON MENU- I said something- I think the batista asked if I wanted one now- I think?- it is hard to hear sometimes with the masks, I've learned to project my voice some. Today, got 5 gift cards, 1 pikes place grande with room for cream. She had trouble with register, was very flustered, asked if they were activated yet other, I told her no, I don't think so- don't I have to pay for them first? She got another employee, and I looked at customer station and asked "do I need to have cream added in, there is no cream at the add-in station." Another woman said "we can give you creamers if you ask. Ok, no, it is fine if you add it in, I just did not know. So register figured out, I paid, tipped. I did not realize I was supposed to move across the store to to other spot to wait- I use a cane, walking is very painful. Man is standing against back of prep area, says loudly, odd flat voice like he is on a loudspeaker "ma'am,move along down to the next counter". Makes these big circular movements with his arms, like he is a dog trainer. It was pretty rude, I was embarrassed. I'm there, waiting as 4 other orders come up. He brings my coffee. I told him he had been pretty rude to me, with the big arm movements, talking to me across way, instead of coming up to counter and saying "please move to pick up area." He told me to "Calm down." (He was NOT CALM APPEARING.) I told him I was calm, I was speaking in an appropriately assertive voice. I told him that telling people who were calm or not calm was not productive, and that should have been received in his training. I asked to speak to the manager. He said he was the manager. I told him that I did not know I had to move down, that I did not appreciate his gesture or speech. What he could have done was said "I did not mean it to appear rude. I saw customers backing up, and I did not want them to wait longer." (Because my other employees had problems with understanding gift cards, and said they did not hear me say "room for cream", am I quiet or loud? I can't be both.) Instead, he used poor judgement, and told a calm customer to calm down. Then, he just WALKED AWAY. I asked another employee "where did he go? That flipped me out a bit. Another one came up. I told her that was not ok. I didn't even tell her whole thing. She said she was a manager. I said seriously, I feel like this man owes me an apology. She said that isn't likely to happen. She will mention it to store manager. All I wanted was a grand Pikes Peak and 5 gift cards, for military, to send. It does not look like a Starbucks. They never can seem to get your order right, One barista was rude to me when I explained to her that my drink was not right, and other stores can make it right when ordered the way I did, why couldn't she.
