She then began to argue with me on what comes on the coconut cream, cold brew. After pulling out of the drive-through, I double checked their menu and could confirm what came on it. Very hit or miss on the service here. It's either a "Hey!" with a smile and a helpful someone, or a, let's pretend we don't see you come in, then looked annoyed to take your order or that your kid needs the restroom before ordering. Not sure why this location has terrible reviews, I think it's a pretty great Starbucks. Staff is friendly, super quick drive-thru, and my drinks are consistent. If you have an issue with your drink, I'd recommend not ordering some extremely complicated trendy Tik-Tok drink that makes the baristas want to jab their eyeballs out. Keep it up, Kalispell Starbs!! I would put a 0 if I could. I realize with COVID shops are short staffed and can't put their employees in harm of catching it. I walked over from the hotel. It was opened and I walked with and employee over to the front door and she looks at me and says you need a car , we r drive they only ! I said to her I just wanted 1 grande black I have exact cash . (I wasn't on the rental contract so I couldn't use the car and friends were still getting ready.) And I pleaded with her she said no! I always have great experiences at this Starbucks. Not a big corporate coffee dude, there are a few spots in town I prefer.... But I will say the price is the right and the service is always fast and friendly. I run errands with my dog often and the baristas have offered a free pup cup on multiple occasions. read more

Wonderful Starbucks and so convenient for Red Lion Hotel guest to cross the parking lot out front and get their Montana coffee buzz on. The employees are friendly although the lady at the drive thru window thought I was trying to pick up an app order when I just wanted to reload my gold card to buy a latte. It got straightened out. I was particularly impressed with the nice, comfy couches in the outdoor seating area. Despite the brisk weather there, they still looked inviting. Inside, I also admired the lovely lighting fixtures perched high above the large community table. I admit, I sometimes pick vacation hotels precisely because of their proximity to a nearby Starbucks since I am a coffee snob. When I arrived at the drive thru there was response. I waited a few minutes and then drove around thinking maybe they were closed. There was a sign on the drive thru window stating they were closing at 6pm, it was 5:45. When someone finally came to the window I explained my reason for being at the window without having ordered. Instead of smiling and taking my order she said "well technically we are closed" I reminded her that it was only 5:45 and she said yes but the person who was supposed to be here didn't come in. Newest Starbucks to the area besides the one that just went up inside of Target, but by far one of my favorite ones. Not only is this super close to my house but it is modeled super modern and just very clean. There is a fireplace inside which is nice to relax by. There is also a bar area where people can wait for their coffee or do homework while hanging out enjoying their coffee. The lines can get long in the drive thru depending on what time of day or if it is the weekend, but typically I don't have too much hassle. EASY PARKING LOT ! Poor service. Worst service I've ever received at Starbucks. I was ordering multiple items and before I could add my other item, they cut me off with the total. After responding and asking if I could add something, I got no response. I pulled up to the window, not only did they give me the wrong items, they took my card saying they left the card in the bag, (which it wasn't). There were multiple cars behind me so I decided to just take them. I came back the next day to get my card and there was no apology from the same lady working. No one is interested in resolving the complaints I have had. Typically management needs an eye opener when this is happening. I can't seem to find the right people to complain to. Just have to share this; I've been to countless Starbucks, all over the US and abroad, and one constant is the ebullient barista staff. I mean, you can be in a scary neighborhood, but if you wander into Starbucks, you're going to be treated like an old friend, or a valued prize. That said, either this particular Kalispell branch missed that memo, or we caught them on an off day. Terse and grumpy are about the nicest ways to describe how we were regarded. The girl who took our order almost seemed annoyed to have to be there. I overheard her later say to another girl preparing drinks "it's almost Friday, right? (It was 10 a.m. On Thursday).
