I don't have a dog in this race, and honestly, I couldn't care less if this place racks up glowing reviews or not. But I was scrolling through Yelp, saw a bunch of negative ones, and thought... really? I'm here 4-5 times a week after yoga, so I've seen it all and worked my way through pretty much every employee. Sure, there was one time they misheard my order and turned my matcha into a smoothie--and it was not good. I politely let them know, and they immediately remade it and handed me a coupon. That's why the super harsh reviews make me raise an eyebrow. If you're nice, explain the problem, and don't go in guns blazing, they make it right--no drama. I'm not here to knock anyone's personal experience, and I normally don't review other people's reviews, but I felt like I should share what I've seen. I'm not sure what to make of Scooter's. I love a good chai and have seen it several times when passing by. I thought I'd give it a try after leaving Cineopolis... First - the place was dead as a doorknob. No traffic, nada. I actually thought they might be closed, but there was a lone car in the parking lot, so I tried anyway. They were open! I ordered a large hot chai, three kids white hot chocolate and four sugar cookies. For nearly $30, what we received was a sugary mess - an undrinkable cup filled with sugar and milk and it was room temperature at best. Ugh. I asked for them to be remade and the young lady working said they weren't able to do remakes. Huh?!?! Add to that the cookies were fresh, however they were loaded in icing. So much so, there wasn't much cookie to taste. :-( I didn't get pic of it, but it was a lot. Oh and did I mention that you have to tip BEFORE the service? And... once the purchase with or without tip has been made, according to the staff member working, it can't be altered. I found that odd - leaving a poor impression overall. Not sure we will be back. I didn't get the name of the lady who attended me but she was super sweet:) I will definitely be back since it's on my way to work. Super excited to try different drinks. Why 3 stars? Because it gets the job done. --- --- --- After seeing a movie in this same parking lot, I was feeling some pretty extreme grogginess and was happy to get my caffeine fix by any means necessary. I'd driven past Scooter's several times and figured now was as good a time as ever to finally check it out. They don't have nitro. Bummer. They did have cold brew and it was okay. If you're coming here for a sugared up drink, it's probably more the place for you than for me since I just drink black coffee. But most importantly, the best thing about Scooter's is that once you're done ordering at the drive-thru speaker box, the person says. "okay, that will be $6.50... you can just scoot over to the window". And THAT is worth the price of admission alone. read more

Wow! I thought I knew every coffee chain known to man but I had never even heard of this place before. It is drive thru only and has a really extensive menu for that kind of place. I tried the most interesting thing they had which was a limited time only Golden Chai Latte and I was very impressed... I could really taste the turmeric! Glad to have them in the neighborhood! Service was so friendly and fun! They actually told me to "scoot on up" to the next window and were so helpful and patient while I figured out how to use the loyalty app. You can't place an order on it but you do get rewards for free drinks and one on your birthday and also a $2 off coupon for downloading it! The location is a little hard to get into since it is on a busy one way street but there is plenty of room for a line and there was a definite need for coffee in this location on that side of the street. You better pray they heard you correctly at the drive thru because if they did not, they will not remake your drink unless you pay for another. I used to really like this place and came here for smoothies often, today was the last day I'll be coming here however because their customer service is less than alright. I came to get a smoothie like I always do, ordered a mango smoothie and they incorrectly made me a strawberry. I asked if it was mango because the color looked off, they said oh sorry no we heard strawberry just a second we'll make another. Then she comes back to the window and says we heard strawberry and confirmed that so you'd have to pay for another if you want a different flavor. So because you made the incorrect smoothie I need to pay you to make the order correctly? That's absolutely ridiculous, most places will make you a new drink if it slightly tastes off and I noticed it wasn't what I ordered the second I'd received it. Will NOT be returning. read more

I will never go here again! Every time I go here the coffee is nothing but a cup of sugar, even after asking for the drink not to be too sweet and just half the amount of syrup. If they are putting half the syrup in my drink, how much is the full portion of syrup? At this point just serve a cup of syrup. I have been going to our local Scooters since it opened and supporting it instead of my local Starbucks however.... when I have a free drink and I come with another person, I cannot use my app to pay for both drinks. This has happened twice now. I have to either pay cash or use a debit/credit card to pay for the second drink. The manager and the server at the window were exceptionally rude. I find it frustrating that the employees are trained to be socially interactive to customers all day long but when there is an issue all you get is a drink and rude behavior. It's absurd that you do not have the technology to pay for two drinks at one time through the app if one is free. I will also add that the drinks have gotten more expensive, and you may want to consider cup sleeves, drinks are hot and difficult to hold. read more

I want to give Scooters the honest review and constructive criticism they deserve, so I decided after no less than 15 visits to their drive thru to comment. Where Scooters really shines for me is in their food department. From their cheddar egg biscuits soft buttery flavor to their spicy sausage patties mouthwatering taste, their food is never a let down! The problem I have is with their drinks. Their lattes and iced coffees are almost always SUGARY SWEET despite not being ordered that way. The espresso doesn't taste good. An iced chai is typically my favorite drink anywhere but for some reason theirs just doesn't hold up. It's disappointing to see a place fall short on their potential- and I hope the owner will look at other shops in the area like Brooklyn Cafe and take notes on the consistency and quality of their drinks. This place will be 5 stars when the drinks improve!!! (also the Blenders are actually quite good if you do want a drink from here!) read more

Got a maple waffle sandwich and a quencher for less than $10 (that would have cost an arm and a leg at Starbucks for half the quality.) Scooter's Coffee in Creekside is amazing. The team is so friendly and helpful. The blended caramelicious is so delicious with just the right amount of caramel. What a yummy treat!!! The coffee of the day is always piping hot with great rich flavor. Our dog Charlie loves to hang his head out the window to get a special pup cup with a dog treat !!! He's so cute with his whipped cream mustache !!! They also have delicious warm chocolate chip cookies, tasty blueberry muffins and everyone's favorite ooey gooey cinnamon rolls. The team really sets the tone as they cheerfully say "Have an amazing day" when you drive away. Scooter's Creekside is my favorite drive thru coffee stop for morning coffee or an afternoon treat!! Unbelievable. I went here a few months ago and picked up a coffee. On the way to work and while taking a sip, the lid came off and spilled all over me. Took a while to get over this. Anyway, went back this morning and guess what happened again? Only this time coffee spilled all over the car. There is obviously a poor quality cup issue that needs to be addressed as it was clearly crimped at the top but my biggest complaint is the complete carelessness and disregard for safe work practices. The folks working there should know whether a lid is fastened tightly or not before they hand someone a cup of hot coffee, especially at a drive-thru only place. I'm done with going there and strongly urge others to be careful. read more
