Worst Starbucks I've ever been to! I thought it couldn't get any worse than the one in NM....wrong!!!! You sit in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes, they are always out of something, and when they are busy, they have no time for any questions you may have about the product! We travel a lot for business, and his one is the closest to me....I've called corporate & it hasn't changed a thing!!! I've waited as long as 40 min in the drive thru! Downfall....no way to back up or go around to get out of line...you're stuck there!!! They need better trained employees, faster & better customer service. I spend at least $30.00 a week on coffee and I have traveled all over Texas, Louisiana, California, Oklahoma, and Michigan to name a few states and this is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. It makes me wonder if the owner of this franchise ever reads the reviews they receive. I can tell you if I owned this Starbucks I would clean house and I don't mean just the housekeeping because it is dirty but the employees are rude and they only have one speed and that is slow. I am working in Lake Jackson and I have been here for over a year and I keep saying I will go to Kroger for my coffee but it is across town. I could probably get there get my coffee and be out of the store before I even get waited on at this location. It doesn't matter if they are busy or not it always takes at least 20 minutes to get your drink. I have seen numerous people drive away because there is no parking to speak of and it is so slow. I waited 25 minutes today to get my drink. You would think they would hire more people and come up with a better system to handle the amount of business they have. If there were another location I would go there. If you feel the need for a Starbucks be ready to spend at least 20 minutes even if you order remotely! read more

I just moved to LJ from Connecticut and have visited this location a handful of times and won't be anymore. I was a daily Starbucks customer in CT but I can't come to this location. The baristas are nice, the drinks are always made correctly, but I waited 22 minutes for a venti unsweetened iced green tea. 3 ingredients. Water, tea, ice. I know this location is slow and it seems to always have a long line but 22 minutes is ridiculous. I was watching the baristas work. Seems to be not in their best interest to have only 2 baristas during lunch rush. I'd like to hope maybe they were just short handed but this is always the case. None of them had a sense of urgency. Only made one drink at a time. You can make more than one drink at once. I've tried the one inside Kroger and won't be visiting that one either since they can't make a drink right. It's sad because the drinks were always made great here but I can't wait 20+ minutes on one beverage. Hopefully the manager sees this and figures out how to fix it. read more

The amount of flies is excessive, looking past that, I waited 45 minutes for a $6.00 cup of coffee, I was studying so it wasn't that big of a deal, but if coffee is literally the only thing you serve, you should be able to make it. While I was waiting, somebody complained about his drink not being made to order and the barista got snappy with him, once he remade the drink and the customer left, he continued to bad mouth the customer. The whole experience was very bad, and I ended up throwing 3/4th of my drink away. read more

After sitting in the drive thru line for 25 mins I received a luke warm plain cup of coffee and the chocolate chip cookie I ordered was just a bag of mush. Someone over heated it in the microwave and threw it in the bag carelessly. This is the slowest/worst Starbucks within 75 miles read more

This place is SO SLOW. There were only 5 cars in the drive thru, and it took 30 minutes. Wow. Just sad that lake Jackson finally gets some new business and whoever runs them had no idea what they are doing. read more

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, went in since the drive-thru was backed up. Other than our little group of five there were 3 people inside. This was my first time to go into or even stop at the Starbucks in Lake Jackson, and I must say it will be the last. The place was nasty, flies EVERYWHERE and the tables and floor were gross. Not to mention it took forever. Sure there were five of us ordering drinks, but I thought 30 minutes was too long. While we were there, people came in from the drive thru lane because their orders were messed up and someones order was placed on the counter and name yelled that the order was ready, but it did not belong to anyone inside. OMG! I came to Starbucks today and ordered a Hot Caramel Machiatto and a blue berry muffin. As I waited nearlkt 10 minutes after I place my order (with only one customer ahead of me in the store) I saw a ROACH... Yes a ROACH! I wanted to ask for refund but after waiting so long I was running late for a meeting. I called later to discuss with the manager and she said she was aware of here ROACH and FLY problem and she is getting exterminators out to help. After reading the other reviews it appears that the fly problem and slow "baristas" is nothing new. Not only was the team slow in preparing orders, but the forgot to put the espresso in my Caramel Machiatto. Don't think I will be back to this Roachbucks!! read more

Everytime I have visited this location at various times it is very dirty! Trash on the floors ,tables and chairs are dirty and trash is overflowing. Makes me wonder how clean the staff are who prepare my coffee? read more

I came inside in the morning and grabbed a coffee and a frap. 30 min later I walked out with my drinks. We came back by in the afternoon and waited 45 minutes in the drive thru for a hot chocolate and a frap. Both of our drinks were wrong and the dip stick that took our money and then fixed our drinks wasn't even polite. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! read more
