I always purchase something when I visit. However, today was the worst experience I've ever had. I had just sat down for a few minutes to get some work done, planning to order as I always do, when a staff member rudely interrupted me and demanded that I buy something immediately. I was only there for 15 minutes, and they acted as if I was just loitering. I had to stop what I was doing, pack up my things, and go to the counter just to satisfy their unnecessary demand. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a company that prides itself on being a welcoming space. Starbucks needs to train its employees better on customer service and basic respect. I won't be coming back to this location. If they treat regular paying customers this way, I can't imagine how they treat everyone else. read more

Since the remodel it has become a sterile and soulless kiosk. Service is slow. Employees display NO PRIDE in customer service and barely even make eye contact. Orders wrong. This location is really close to the hotel I've been staying in and the weather was perfect to walk over. I am typically not a huge Starbucks fan because service is never great where I am and a lot of time their espresso tastes burnt, but I was optimistic because the cold brews seem to be pretty good more often than not. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice everyone was and how quickly I had my drink and sandwich I ordered. The inside was clean and they had a great assortment of cups and such for purchase. It was 70 degrees out in the beginning of March so I felt like taking a little walk from my house to this Starbucks location. Starbucks is not by any means, my top choice for coffee, however, it is my top choice for "Coffee shops within walking distance from my house" so it was a winner because I wanted to walk. I just opted for an iced white chocolate mocha. It came out pretty fast and it tasted how I expected it to. For some reason, Starbucks drinks always taste like they burn their espresso or didn't save the shot but the white chocolate flavoring is always good. I wish they would've had a little less ice in there because it dilutes the drink fast and makes it taste slightly more bitter. It was nice that they had a patio and I enjoyed basking in the sun, people/traffic watching, while sipping on my coffee for hours! read more

This isn't my favorite Starbucks, but it's in walking distance to work, so it's convenient. I still enjoy my go to drinks (Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso- usually decaf now; and decaf Mocha with Toffeenut syrup). This place is usually ridiculously busy from about 8-930am with a line for the drive through wrapping out to the main road sometimes. Even if you go in to order, drive through orders are higher priority, so unless you're ordering ahead, you'll be waiting a good 10 minutes for your order. Not fun when you're trying to get in to work, but want a coffee beforehand. For awhile there, it seemed like there was a lot of turnover, so there was a lot of confusion with prices for special orders, which was weird considering how standard most things should be for a franchise like this. One of the employees didn't explain the charges he added to my order and I ended up paying $8+ for a grande drink (wtf?!?!). I was not happy about that, and when I tried to dispute it, he made me feel stupid. Regardless of that experience, the regular staff there has been awesome! Like I said, not my favorite location because of the long waits at times, but I appreciate the staff and the products during non-rush hour work times. read more

At the pick up bar it was clear someone had dropped a venti size coffee on the floor. Staff had simply place a caution cone one the floor. Dude this is a safety hazard for all who wade through the mess and the pick up bar to get their drinks. 8 staff members busily working, manager at the drive up window... During the 15 mins I was there, nobody cleaned up the hazard. Culture- Starbucks usually have a happy, greet the customer with a smile, fun and "how can I help you" attitude. I didn't get that today, nor other times I have visited. The place was mostly clean and tidy, shelves well-stocked, the music selection was okay today and my drinks were accurate. In a market where the mainstream religion abstains from coffee, it's challenging to flourish as a coffee house. Keep the safe and clean... and smile! Ask the Customer how their day is. Good ol' reliable, dependable Starbucks. There when you need it. Everywhere, really. All over. In fact, there are two Starbucks in Lehi. Don't be confused, this one is the one near Thanksgiving Point, not the one in the old town proper. It's just on the west side of I-15 as you exit the freeway and head towards Thanksgiving Point, and all of the office buildings out that way. What makes them so ubiquitous is that same thing that makes any chain take off--predictability and consistency. Walking in, you'll see the same things you see at their other locations: a few couches, some tables and chairs, a beverage case, a bakery case, and all the apparatus and baristas for making a coffee. Oh sure, the layout changes, and the clientele, and the view, and the sass of the staff, but it's typically the same thing. And that's just fine. I selected my orange juice--they've upped their orange juice game but I only opted for this since I couldn't find San Pellegrino... I didn't try too hard--and sat for a long conversation on the sofa. It was low-key, and since it was later in the evening, it wasn't too packed. Only a handful of people in and out, and probably a small trickle through the drive through. I mean, you can't really go wrong here. I like branching out and trying new things, so Starbucks isn't really my jam, but I have no shade for you if it's yours. Side note: The fact that there are two Starbucks in Lehi is remarkable. I remember many years ago, sitting with a friend from Chicago at an old job, and her figuring out that there were more Starbucks in O'Hare Airport than there were in the state of Utah at that time. The team behind the counter are exceptional, these are folks that always have a smile, engaged and trying to make it personal and know you as a customer. I have read some feedback about the weekend crew - sorry I think they are one of the best. Yes, they can be slow at times, this is driven by the amount of traffic from the tech corridor and hotels, drive-through and people in store. Starbucks needs to invest in a store at least 3 times the size it has there. Adding more people is not going to fix it. This location has a lot of issues. They are right in Thanksgiving Park so they have a lot of business and it is consistently busy. This is no issue. In fact, it usually is a great sign when establishments are busy. I don't mind waiting for my drink. It's an average Starbucks location. A little slow, but overall fine. If you are in a hurry you should arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early. Other coworkers have mentioned ordering their drinks well in advance on the app and they still have a long wait for their drink. Avoid their cold brew. It never tastes right. I have ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew at least 4 or 5 times in the last few months HOPING that a different person can make it right. They have made it wrong every single time. The coffee always tastes awful. I take one or two sips and I can't finish it. I order the same drink from other locations and it always tastes great. This location doesn't seem to get it right. I ordered a Dirty Chai frap. When I got my drink it was completely white, I tasted it and no coffee taste. I went in to say I think you forgot to put a shot of coffee in. The lady said "no, we made it correctly" without even asking who made it. I really wanted to get in and out quickly. And luckily, I did. The baristas were all hustling. They managed to get the line down fast and my drink made exactly how I like it. Well I needed a much deserved pick me up after a 13 hour shift so I went in tonight at 930 they close at 10. We rarely go to Starbucks but saw on the app that it was half price day for drinks every Tuesday in July, so we went through the drive-they and ordered a couple. We paid and as we were almost home, my daughter looked at the receipt and noticed we were charged full price and not half price. I called Starbucks to explain what happened and that the young girl that answered (high-school age) was rude and kept talking over me. As I was telling her nicely that we were charged full price, she talked over me and said that we have to tell them at the window that we want our drinks for half price. I told her it didn't say that on the app and she said it was a "Starbucks Secret." (Not sure how it's a secret when it's advertised all over the app.) She said if we mentioned we wanted it for half price and they didn't give it to us for that, then we could go and get refunded for the difference. I told her we didn't mention it because we thought it was automatic and she said "Sorry." Very poor customer service! I went through a different drive thru and they totally messed up my order, but I was already on my way to Lehi when I realized it wasn't right. I walked in to this location thinking I'd just add some splenda to sweeten up my bitter drink, but the girl who greeted me saw my drink and heard my story and just remade it for me.
