Affogato
Julie P.

What a deal! After hitting up some shops my friend and I stopped by the Ebar for some coffee, we both ended up getting dessert! They make Affogato, which is ice cream with two shots of expresso poured over the top. So good! They will do decaf or regular. It was actually almost cheaper than a regular coffee, only $3.95. They also over pastry's and any type of hot coffee or cold, that you can think of. I am definitely planning on swinging by again when I am at fashion place.

Great place to grab a quick coffee or smoothie...very friendly staff and fast service...very clean and plenty of seating.

Pomegranate Iced Tea

I'm a sucker for this place after an eventful day of shopping. My go-to: Pomegranate Iced Tea Super refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. Pomegranate and tea ratios are usually perfected enough to taste tea, which I love! As for the coffee, I think they're okay. Lately, when I've been getting them they come out WAY too sweet, but it could just be me.

Okay... I give people a lot of chances but almost every time I get a water from here, there is at least one fruit fly in it. Come on! Management has to be aware of this. This is disgusting.

I didn't know about the drinks here until my cousin asked if I've ever tried Italian soda. I love it now. It's super good. My cousins and I all got different flavors. I got the Lime and Coconut it's a little more on the sour side so if you like that it's a good one. Then my other three cousins chose Strawberry and Raspberry Italian Soda, and Passionfruit Soda. The passion fruit is really good. It kind of tastes like a pina colada smoothie. It's really good.

Almond Roca Latte

Loved their coffee!! This has to be one of my favorite places for coffee in SL. I got their almond Roca latte the last time I came here and it was delicious (I would recommend if you're a fan of sweeter coffee drinks). Plus the barista did a great job with the presentation of the latte :).

I got hot chocolate and it tasted like hot water. The customer service was not great. Interesting.

I ordered the snickers in hopes it would be sweet but not overpowering. Maybe that was my mistake. I saw it and I was already nervous. The entire drink was dark brown. It looked like chocolate milk. Which idk, maybe that's what it's supposed to look like, but oh my goodness I couldn't even taste the extra shot of espresso I ordered. Literally straight hersheys syrup. So I poured half of it out, added some almond milk and it's still pretty concentrated. Idk I'm not the kind of person to veto a place for making one bad drink, but I like my coffee to taste like coffee lol. Hopefully next time I go it does! In other news, the raspberry muffin was yummy!

Immediately I liked the vibe-it's an edgy, totally local and co-created space with folks from the area. There is a bulletin board in the vestibule with fliers and posters about current events and services-totally haphazard and chaotic. Inside, there's art all over the place, unique decor and a calendar of events that look to be different support groups that meet here. How cool. This isn't a polished, bougie or uptight place. This is for real folks with real personalities and a bit of grit. And I like it. The coffee's pretty good too. ;-)

I also love that you sort of serve yourself instead of needing to point through the glass at everything you want to add. The staff were very helpful and it had a very quiet, chill vibe. I wanted to find a traditional French boulangerie in SLC but did not see one, Zut alors!…read more I know Paris Baguette is a chain and has an Asian twist so we decided to visit on Saturday morning before driving back to Boise. It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. I didn't try the coffee but if they ever show up in Boise metro area, I would check them out to see if they match up with SLC.

Roasting room visible behind glass, chemistry-steampunk coffee boiling gadgets on the counter, local artwork for sale at a small table in the middle and a standing bar with high stools. Loads of natural lighting (in the morning) My wife got a rose latte, I went for caramel. Standard coffee art (heart-topped wheat shock for her, delicate middle-centered fern on mine). The caramel was light in mine, a pleasant contrast to caramel lattes that emphasize over-saccharine sweetness over the richness of caramel - it could have been that they just used an appropriate amount or it could have been the underlying psychological effect of sitting on the couch while my kids played games and drank their hot chocolates with whipped cream. Either way, I appreciated it. The servers were professional and courteous, and the rose latte came out fast. That said, the room was packed while we were here - a testament to the vibe and the smiles they brew here. Glad we chose this place for our cozy morning respite this morning!
