I ordered a bagel this morning and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The bagel seemed underbaked and had a doughy texture, almost as if it wasn't fully cooked through. I would recommend ensuring the bagels are completely baked and sliced before toasting to improve consistency and quality. I was unable to finish my meal as a result. Last Friday, August 1st, I ordered a large vanilla frappé with specific customizations: two pumps of vanilla syrup, four pumps of base, two shots of espresso, and almond milk. However, the drink was made overly sweet, and I couldn't drink it. I tried calling the store multiple times that day and again on Saturday morning, but no one answered. Since I couldn't return Friday due to work, I decided to keep the drink and explain the issue in person later. I've been a long-time Beans & Brews customer and have never had issues resolving problems--until now. This experience was, by far, the worst I've ever had at any coffee shop. At the drive-thru, the staff claimed they couldn't hear me, and eventually, the manager came on. I explained the situation, but she was dismissive and rude, saying she couldn't help without proof of purchase or a same-day return. I explained I still had the drink and cup and tried calling. She brushed me off, saying it wasn't her fault because she hadn't been working the day before. After some back-and-forth, she agreed to remake the drink but said, "We'll just do this one time because I'm tired of arguing." At the window, I wasn't given a chance to explain the full order. They handed me a medium drink instead of a large, made incorrectly and without almond milk. When I pointed it out, I was told to either take it or leave it. The barista seemed overwhelmed but wasn't helpful either. He even told me there were many customers behind me and to just take the drink. While trying to clarify my order, the customer behind me got out of her car, yelled at me, and demanded I move. The barista didn't intervene and just stared at me. I finally gave the barista the correct order after several attempts and offered to go back around and wait. When I returned, they gave me another medium. I had to explain again that size matters for proper sweetness and ingredient ratios. The barista still wasn't listening, mentioning hazelnut when I'd never said hazelnut at all. I asked if I could write down my order and wait while they made it. Eventually, he agreed and actually made the drink correctly. However, when I went inside to get it, the manager rudely told me to "just take the drink and go." When I asked for her name, they refused to give it. I called the store again Monday, hoping for a better response. The woman who answered, claiming to be the manager, refused to confirm if she had been working Saturday and was equally unhelpful. Later, I called the American Fork location to see if they had contact info for the district manager. That manager was polite and told me the location I visited is franchised and frequently gets complaints. She even said her store sometimes remakes drinks from that location out of good customer service, even though it's not their responsibility. This kind of attitude--compassion, care, and accountability--is what I expected and what any customer deserves. I hope this review helps inform others and that the staff at that location listens to customer feedback. I've also submitted this to corporate and truly hope it leads to positive changes. read more

Beans and brews has great food/breakfast selection for a coffee shop, specially in comparison to Starbucks. They nail the hot coffee but somehow haven't figured out how to do the iced coffees. Every time I get iced coffee the ice is mostly melted and has watered down my drink. I also love their sizing. The small is like a Starbucks medium/large! read more

I've visited this Beans and Brews locations several times; it's where a networking group that I belong to meets each month. At 7:00 in the morning, there's not a heckuva lot of traffic in the area, which is a stark contrast to late afternoon and evening. The staff is always friendly and takes great care of us. I love the house drip coffee-the flavor is just right and feels like I'm wrapping in in a blanket. This is a solid location of a solid brand. read more

Ive been coming here for years and I'm honestly so disappointed with how downhill this place has gone. Half the time my drink is made wrong and sometimes I'll go in and have them remake my drink. Today i got a chai tea with three expresso shots and i took it back because it tasted like water with expresso shots. When i went back in, the manager was rude and made me feel like she was bothered that she had to remake it. I should have just kept the first one because the second one was worse than the first. I feel like they definitely made it wrong the second time on purpose. Then I tried calling all morning to let them know and was ignored. I won't be coming back. Love this location! Often times the line is several cars deep, but they're able to get orders out fast and correct. We stop here probably 2-3 times a week, and the staff is always sweet helpful and kind. The drinks are always done right, and the food is prompt and delicious. Other locations seem to struggle, but this one is always running smoothly and we will go out of our ways to come visit them for our morning coffee and snack needs! read more

Coming from a Starbucks girl, sorry!, I'm not a big B&B fan. I've ordered the pumpkin pie drink MULTIPLE times but it never tastes like pumpkin. I've even had other people taste my drink and they said that it didn't taste like pumpkin either. I like how this location has a drive thru. It is usually pretty busy though. The staff is always nice and helpful. Also, the prices are really pricey even for a small. I will say the best thing is their Everything Bagel with cream cheese. read more

I decided to stop here for a quick, warm drink as I was going to an event outside and it was freezing out. I was also pretty hungry so I was planning on grabbing a bagel, pastry or sandwich. However, after looking at the menu and seeing the prices of all their foods, I thought "wow, hard pass". Every food item was over $5. I am not on a big budget or anything but I just felt like that was pretty high for just one food item at a coffee shop. For my drink, I decided on a medium white chocolate mocha. I thought it tasted good. Nothing spectacular but no complaints about it either. It stayed nice and hot until the bottom, which was nice because of how cold it was outside haha. The service was good, it didn't take too long to get through the drive through and the girl at the window was nice. The coffee still did cost me $5.73 but I still think that is more reasonable because it is a drink that will last me a while versus a bagel that is worth .20 that I bought for $7 lol. I get that prices are going up everywhere; I think it just comes as a rude awakening at times. Everything else about this location was good! read more

I come here often and it's slightly better than the competition in my opinion. In fact I've been to most of the beans and brews around town. They all make mistakes and they all have problems. I have personally had issues with this location before. But you can't get that great of quality of staff when you're dealing with teenagers. Either way the drinks are good and I get them often. Their food menu really needs help and probably a little bit of redesigning on the packaging especially for the cinnamon rolls. read more
