I have to stop by here anytime I am leaving Albuquerque to drive home because I enjoy Starbucks, and need the caffeine fix.The team at this one is hit or miss, though. This store is soooooo slow. I just sat in the drive thru for seriously over 20 minutes. If I could have gotten out of the drive thru I would have driven away a long time ago. Then they gave me the wrong drink. Seriously ?!?! read more

I've been coming here for years as my wife is absolutely addicted to coffee. The last few visits there, however, have not been very pleasant. Today topped it all though lol. these young kids working behind the counter making the drinks... well supposed to be making drinks... placed 2 empty cups on the counter with my wife's name on them (I was picking up from my wife's mobile order) and then they sat down a third drink (which was correct.. it had a drink in it as ordered)... I figured these guys were new or something by placing an empty cup up there for someone to take and go... I waited and waited.. i made eye contact with them as I took my son's hot chocolate and they didn't say a thing about the other drinks. I waited until they were done with the orders they were working on and then tried asking one of those kids where my drinks were... it obviously was breaking his day to stop texting his buddies on his phone to stop and help me out... they they told me they were out of that...... we ordered COFFEE... not a specialty drink nothing weird about them.. just 1 reg coffee and 1 decaf..... they were very rude to me looking at me like I was stupid or something so I told them they need to refund that and should have probably told me that they were out when I first got in there instead of havnig me wait so long and then make me feel like it was my fault. Horrible experience altogether, I'm going to Blended Cafe from here on out... everyone there is awesome and always super helpful and informative. read more

They are one of the busiest I've been at so far. They need to be a little more attentive to calling out a persons name when their drink is ready, but being they are so busy I let them slide on that. They always make my frappuccino's delicious and my hot coffee is always very good. Thank you ladies for the delicious coffee you make! I love Starbucks!! read more

I'm a frequent customer at this location. My experience today was upsetting. I ordered my drink, drank half my water (30 oz) container and went to the restroom and 9 minutes later, my drink still wasn't ready. I'm not use to it taking so long. However this isn't what upset me. I asked the cashier if they forgot about my drink. The girl that ends up handing me my drink, proceeds to say, "there's a long list, and we're busy, so......". That didn't even upset me, it was two ladies that were apparently related to the girl that gave me the worst rbf-s ever! They're opinion was not asked for nor needed..."they're short handed... and that's my sister, so.....". My thought is firstly, so....... runs in their family. This could be taken as a threat but I'm not intimidated by anyone. The girl behind the counter could've apologized. And her sister needs to keep her opinion to herself. I'm in customer service, been a server for over 2 decades, if one of my relatives ever put their 2 cents into any work situation with a customer/ guest present, I would be in a heap of trouble. read more

Out of the dozens of Starbucks I have tried in New Mexico alone, the one off of I-25 in Los Lunas always seems to get it right. The baristas at this particular Starbucks have always been warm and welcoming. They take the time to remember your drink selections and will go out of their way to write your name on the cup. The atmosphere is calm and collected, unless you happen to stumble in at peak hours when everyone and their mother wants coffee. To avoid this, I recommend going anywhere between 10:00am-2:00pm and 6:00pm-Closing. However, every day is different. If you are looking for good coffee and a decent experience, I recommend going to this one. read more

Poor service, it close 9.30 pm but they stop serving hot sandwiches at 7. The caramel macchiato tasted horrible, nothing like starbucks, the lemon loaf was dry and old. Nothing to recommend. read more

This is the slowest Starbucks that I have ever been too, I have tried it a few times and each time when you go thru the drive thru you have to wait 10 to 15 min in line..before your coffee is ready,and once you are in line there is no exit until you get to the window..bad planning, so even if you want to forget about the the 10 min coffee you can't get out..other Starbucks that I have been to ..when you order by the time you get to the window your coffee is ready and waiting for you..BUT NOT LOS LUNAS WHEN YOU GET TO THE WINDOW YOU STILL HAVE TO WAIT LONGER FOR THEM TO MAKE YOUR COFFEE...VERY, VERY SLOW and not friendly.. read more

i went into the los lunas starbucks and was immediately taken back by the unkempt look of the place, the sloppy display in the case and the lack of any food treats except what looked like day old crucified sandwiches, gross. it was not busy, for an early weekend evening seemed odd. i was greeted in a very rushed and cold way. all i wanted was chai tea for a friend, now i relize why he didn't want to go into the store. i can't understand how they stay in business with this sort of offering. very bad. read more
