I order from this location every day, at different shift times throughout the day, and I've noticed a significant difference in service when Mallory isn't working. Whenever Mallory is working, the lines move smoothly and quickly, drinks are made on point and there's no hiccups. Most recently, I waited over 25 minutes for just two drinks, despite there only being 2 cars in the drive-thru and very few customers waiting inside. During that time, the team appeared to be struggling to keep up, and the manager on duty did not step in to help support drink production or assist the staff. Another thing I've noticed is that the barista does not bother asking what drink/food item I'm waiting for when they see me standing there for a prolonged period. This location used to provide consistently excellent service, but lately the experience has been disappointing. Long wait times have become more common, drinks are often made incorrectly, and there seems to be a high turnover of employees. I know the staff is doing their best, and I appreciate their efforts, but the overall service and quality have noticeably declined. As a loyal customer who visits daily, I wanted to share this feedback in hopes that improvements can be made. read more

One of the Starbucks I stop at on my way to work. Take exit 5A the Mililani Mauka exit. I'm always greeted with a friendly "Good morning." My iced shaken espresso is always consistent with taste. One of my go to drinks. I get a grande with 3 pumps of white mocha and heavy cream. It's sweetened just right with the white mocha and a bit creamy. For your convenience there's a drive thru if you don't feel like getting out of your vehicle. There's outdoor & indoor area to enjoy your drink and or food items. The efficiency here is the perk... Not really viewable from the street though they are located on a very busy block just right beside the freeway in Gateway at Mililani Mauka which isn't the easiest to navigate if you're not familiar there's always a line at the drive thru and you do need to mindful of that which can be confusing. Walking in it's not the largest but very busy location though the service here are friendly and fast as I was instantly greeted by a staff though she was busy it's nice along with the clean and organized service area. I've always been curious of the new summer sips that brings on the heat and decided to give it a try. Out of the three (Dragonfruit, Pineapple and Strawberry) I decided on the Spicy Strawberry and I did bring my own cup for the bonus 25 stars and ten cents discount which sadly I don't see very much especially on this Earth Month which btw I got a bonus of 25 stars from Starbucks app for consistent use in the past year. The staff was nice as I ordered my Spicy Strawberry and agrees out of the three is her favorite though if I didn't like it she would gladly make me another drink...very thoughtful! The verdict...spicy! I do love my spice but this was not good, I did finish my drink but didn't like it at all...but did love this location and the staff. Thank you! read more

I love Starbucks when I'm in a pinch (also honestly recommend McDonalds vanilla iced coffee - that stuff is the bomb). More specifically, this Mililani location has always provided kind, happy and professional customer service whenever I do stop by. I decided to forego the drive through line and regretted it because it was taking so long for my bacon and gouda (15m+ in the AM). But Kamryn came to double check on my order, apologized and personally gave me my food. I could use my home coffee maker but it's always nice to get good service and get out of the house once in awhile. Mililani Starbucks is a solid respite from working from home! It's also usually pretty quiet but hard to find seating to study or work most times. I'll always be back here for my grande pumpkin spiced latte. read more

Love love coming here! Sam, Chelsea, Kylie , and Paige is so amazing! Starbucks is so lucky to have them ! They're customer service top tier *chefs kiss* their speed on getting orders done in a timely manner is phenomenal. They're the reason why I keep coming back. My go to drink is a strawberry açaí with no water no inclusions. add soy 4 scoops vanilla bean powder and strawberry purée. Either blended or not but it comes out so good! Depending on the day it's either quite loud or really quiet. But todays visit was quiet so I had to constantly tell my child to quiet down lol. But definitely will be back! read more

It's been a while since I have been they drive thru. I ordered our drinks and got my app ready. Unfortunately, they were out of the item that makes the thai walls, but barista suggested something else. Love that! When it was our turn to get our drinks, I showed the barista my phone. She scanned it and while we were waiting, she tried to make small talk. "Hey, what are you guys up to today". Just a small gesture like this shows that Starbucks cares. They are not just pushing our drinks as fast as they can. They stop and talk story for a bit. I could tell she was new (sorry if I am wrong, but there was someone behind her). By far my most favorite Starbucks on the island to date! Everytime I come the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They actually talk to you and seem like they genuinely enjoy their jobs. I usually order through the app and go through the drive thru for pick-up and my drinks have been perfect everytime but the last time. I ordered 3 Frappuccino's and 1 hot white chocolate mocha. The mocha came out perfect, as usual, but all 3 Frappuccino's were watery and gross! I was in shock because this had never happened before. I called as soon as I got home and spoke to Genesis. She apologized and told me when I was able to I could come back and they would remake all 3 drinks. I came back that night just before closing and the same girl (I think her name was Sierra) that had given us our drinks that afternoon remembered me and my order and made it a point to remake the drinks herself to ensure they were perfect...and they were! Great service here today! Popped in for a coffee using my personal cup & I accidentally dropped my cover a few minutes later. The nice young lady who took my order noticed that I had dropped it & offered to rinse it out for me. Not too many people would for that. Stuck to fave drink, white mocha frap, consistently good ALL the time. Couldn't pass up on a warmed up banana loaf to go. Tastes good during this chilly March evening. II usually stop by this location on my way to work in Wahiawā. One morning I placed a mobile order and I guess the store didn't receive it by the time I arrived. I was scolded by a women with blonde hair and she told me "next time just order your drink and food at the store for quicker service" I was like, Oohh my bad. Apparently the girl Jennifer put my sandwich by the drive thru so it sits there for awhile then they put it in the mobile pick up and stays there then they put it out on the table by pick up. At no time do they call me that my sandwich is ready. I'm waiting and waiting and waiting til finally my Frappuccino is melting I go up to ask them about my sandwich. I love Starbucks - their coffee, that is. I know every store is different. Not every store has the same "Starbucks friendliness" that we've all come to know and love. My best friend also happens to be a district manager for Starbucks elsewhere in the US. I told her what happened and she offered to let Hawaii's DM know, but I thanked her and told her not this time. Had this incident been any worse, I probably would have taken her up on her offer. I always order ahead on the app, the main reason being because I like to super-customize my order. It's just easier to order that way. However, when I reached this store to pick up my order that was not yet ready, I overheard all of the employees making fun of my order which they happened to be making at that moment. They all had a taste of my drink and had their own opinions on it, apparently not noticing that I was in the store. When they finished having their fun, they just set my drink down, didn't even bother to call out my name. On a separate occasion, a barista short-changed my partner on her drink - only filled it about 3/4 of the way full and didn't follow her instructions for her order. He supposedly remade it, but it was even worse the second time. Finally, a competent barista came to the window, made the drink himself, and apologized for the other staff members. I wish I had gotten his name - he's probably the only one who exemplifies the Starbucks spirit. read more

Whoa, UPDATE! Been coming back here even after the rave dance party, which I must mention was just one night, and not the norm. Been back a few times and the music was nice and varied, nothing hyper crazy and nothing with any crazy electronic beats, just easy listening and pleasant to the ears. One night while here I knocked over my drink. Totally fell over onto the floor. Splashed the girl sitting near me. I felt so stupid and klutzy. I started mopping up the floor with my hands and multiple paper towels. My friend came over with more paper towels until we made a nice mini-mountain of mushy paper towels. A nice man came over and started mopping. He asked me what I was drinking. A few minutes later a new drink materialized on the counter. Wow, that was so nice. My friend's birthday was recently and he got a free drink here. They wrote Happy Birthday with a smiley face on it. He was super happy. It's the small things like these that make people happy, although I felt that splashing my drink everywhere was not a small thing, but a big mess; and the nice touches that my friend got totally made his day. COLD PASSION TEA: Get this drink with apple juice, sweetened and no water. It is yummy and refreshing. My go to all the time. Perfect for anytime of the day! Don't go in the store even if it's empty! They do not value walk ins. I arrived there with my daughter at 5:55 am and there were several cars in the drive thru but the store was empty. Since she was only getting a gift card and a lemon loaf, we thought it might be quick to just run in. What a big mistake! I sat in the parking lot and watched car after car go through the drive thru and people walk in and out with their mobile orders while my daughter stood inside waiting for them to just put a lemon loaf in a paper sleeve. It was finally ready when she went up to go to ask for her money back because we needed to leave. No drink, no sandwich that needed to be warmed up, just a lemon loaf. Don't be fooled if the store is empty even if the drive thru line is back to McDonald's, do NOT walk in. They will not give you equal service. read more

One Christmas I bought three gift cards from this Starbucks. I parked at Longs and checked the receipt against the cards I purchased. Two did not match. I went back through Drivethough and the gal who helped me looked nervous. I asked for thr manager, showed him the receipt...he asked me to wait in the parking area...brought me new cards with matching receipt...never apologized. My daughter who is a teacher receives Starbuck cards from her students at Christmas...half of them are invalid. There are thieves working at Starbucks. read more

Located on the Mauka side of Mililani, it's not the most convenient for me. Even with a drive thru, it's still inconvenient. The layout isn't the best so I just try to avoid it overall. The few times that I do venture out this way I have never gone inside. So the drive thru is good whenever I have popped in. Orders have been accurate, not the speediest, and prices are the same as the others. I won't visit much, but I'm sure eventually I'll be back again. read more

The only Starbucks with a drive thru in Mililani and I like it! It's very easy to pick up a drink via drive thru and then jump back on the freeway. For the most part, the cashiers are friendly. The only weird thing is the way the drive thru line is set up. Very awkwardly, if the line gets long, you would have to space yourself out so you aren't blocking the aisles. And you can't wait behind the person ordering because then you're blocking one of the exits.. I recently got a bagel and when I finally got to my destination, it was burnt, but they had also given me another one.. It wasn't burnt badly but I just giggled that they would leave the burnt one in there. I'm not complaining, I didn't waste either of them. It was actually a blessing after coming from a long day filled with meetings to juggling the kids after school activities. Thanks Starbucks! read more

This is my least favorite starbucks on island. The drive thru is always busy and creates a hot mess of traffic to get through. Some of the baristas are very sweet and friendly. But this location doesn't ever seem to make my drink correctly. All the other starbucks make it easily. I've only gotten it made it correctly here a very few times. I thought all locations were the same?? I live 5 minutes away from here and would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to get the correct drink. read more

We ordered 2 drinks this morning and it was not anything as we ordered. So we went back and asked them to fix it...second time around and the drinks were not anything as we ordered! This is very disappointing and unfortunately we couldn't drink our drinks because it tasted horrible. We ordered a salted caramel cold brew and an Irish cold brew.
