VERY Disappointed with the customer service at this location. There was a young girl and boy working no greeting, just a blunt "Do you know what you want?" I understand they may be short-staffed, but that's no excuse for poor treatment of customers. I also noticed the same dismissive and low-effort attitude toward other customers. We ordered two items but only received one, and had to wait nearly 10 minutes before getting up to ask for the second item ourselves they didn't even start to make our other item until we asked for it. I hope management will take this as an opportunity to retrain staff on basic customer service, because experiences like this give the brand a bad reputation. This is our home Baskin Robbins, and it's gone downhill, especially recently. We stopped in tonight for ice cream after dinner. They ran out of sugar cones, so I got a cup instead. My husband got two scoops in a cake cone, and it was nearly falling over. He asked for a cup just in case and was told they charge for cups. My son got a keiki scoop of ice cream. They weigh the scoops now, and they are much much smaller than in the past. As we sat and enjoyed our ice cream with every single table taken with families, the worker came out and told our table we had to leave because their lobby closed at 9p. Wtf? They don't close until 10p I thought? She said the manager said the lobby closes at 9. I said, "Is this for everyone," gesturing to the full tables of families, and she said yes, but then turned around and went back to work. She didn't tell anyone else to leave. I am insulted and puzzled at the behavior here. A few weeks back, we visited during open hours, and there was a sign on the door that said be back in 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the workers were inside cleaning, stocking, etc, as a line of us stood outside. Finally, my husband knocked on the window, and the girl came over to unlock the door, apologizing and saying she forgot to take the sign down. They really need to shape up the customer experience here. Getting cheap and rude with customers WILL save you money because they won't come back and give you business! read more

The rating is for BR itself for the lack of clarity in their marketing emails and this location's customer service skills (no greetings, no smiles, no sense of urgency whatsoever considering they work with ice cream.) I went 2 times within the past week, unexpectedly. 1) July 31 & 2) Aug 03. 1) July 31: Went in to get the 31% Off All Scoops promo, ordered 6 double scoops (1 with sprinkles) 1 banana royale. The email didn't specify what method to use, whether it had to be done in person/mobile order. Its restriction was only specified delivery. Had to ask for them to adjust my purchase after I noticed the price wasn't discounted. Had to ask my sister (who was there too) to scan her rewards app. Got a whole lecture about how management doesn't like when customers purchase in store during the 31% Off All Scoops on the 31st of the month- but it's not specified in the BR Emails or the BR App (it only sends that "coupon" to the recently activated BR Rewards member nor is it clearly stated on the website either. And the ice cream cups were melting by the time she finished the interaction- I didn't notice til I got into the car. 2) Aug 3: went to make a purchase of the Ready Made Pints, bought 4. I was the 2nd customer in line, had to wait after a man & his family. He took his time & so did the cashier, all 3 employees had to help his order (4 servings of ice cream)-2 of them couldn't stop talking to each other so I stood waiting patiently with 4 nearly melting pints of ice cream. Couldn't get the one flavor I was looking for: Jamoca (Coffee) so ended up with 2 Jamoca Almond Fudge, 1 Chocolate & 1 Vanilla. The choices aren't very allergen friendly. I sat on this for days to reflect on the experiences so I called BR Customer Support which is combined with Dunkin Donuts. I could barely understand what the 1st lady was saying so she transferred me to a 2nd lady who didn't really resolve the issue but advised she would refer my issue to the store's owner, which apparently is the highest point of contact- although the store manager would've sufficed for it. She said it would be 2 business days, so here I am waiting over the 2 days. I'm gonna try call again tomorrow. read more

When I asked the girl to write Happy Birthday, she said, "Can I just put HBD since Happy Birthday is too long." Then she had the other worker write it for her. This was the result of what we got. They close at 10 pm which was nice cause most places close early. It was a nice treat after dinner. Not too crowded here if you come later and before they close. Plenty of parking up front at night. Kunia Baskin Robins is our favorite to go to. Plus it's on the way home so even more perfect. It seems like no one goes to this location, not to sure why. Every-time we are there, the store is empty (perfect for us). They always have a lot of flavors there for their ice creams as well as their cakes in the freezer. My girls favorite is the cotton candy ice cream; however every time we come here they always ask for a ton of samples. Not to sure why but they always end up choosing cotton candy ice cream.
