I remember visiting Starbucks at Brookfield Place, where I worked. I signed up for Starbucks rewards there. Months later, I ended up changing jobs and working at Yonge and Eglinton. There were plenty of Starbucks locations in the area, so I ended up being a regular Starbucks customer. After all these years, I didn't really have a favourite Starbucks cafe. Sure, I visit my local one a lot out of convenience, but it's not my favourite. I'd say the one closest to my workplace is close to being my favourite because it has a drive-thru and staff are extremely friendly. They like being there and appreciate that I appreciate what they do. My friend, Sandy, and I dropped by this Starbucks cafe in late August before a Yelp event in Oakville. Frankly, my knowledge of the Mississauga-Oakville border is so poor that I thought this cafe was in Oakville. Nope, it's considered Mississauga. I have found my favourite Starbucks cafe. It's this one. This cafe has a drive-thru. It had steady business when we dropped by. We wanted to get drinks, sit down, chat, and kill some time. It's rare that I can't comment on going through a Starbucks drive-thru. It's the case here. I backed into a parking spot fairly close to the main entrance. We got out of my car and entered the cafe. Sandy did a pitstop. I used the washroom before we left. There are two single stalls. The one that I used was clean and roomy. I went to place my order. My favourite drink these days is the cool lime refresher. It was a regular drink on the menu years ago. Starbucks got rid of it. When it returns for a limited time, I pounce on it like a tabby cat. I got the nicest barista. When I ordered this refresher in a grande size, she asked if it was for here or to go. I said the former. She asked if I wanted it in a glass or a cup. A glass?! Super fancy! It was a first for me. I went for the glass. Wow! And, that's why this cafe is my favourite. I have never had any Starbucks cold drink in a glass before. I had my Starbucks barcode on my app scanned to pay for my drink. I like that my name shows up automatically on the label. It didn't take long for my drink to be ready. Yes, I picked up the solid glass containing my cool lime refresher. I sat down with Sandy and her drink. My glass had a sticker with my name and my order on it. Maybe my glass was chilled a bit. I loved my cool lime refresher. It tasted even better in a glass. Maybe it's psychological. I don't know. I do know that it hit the spot and I felt classy. Yes to getting a drink in a glass. Sandy had her drink in a cup. I showed her the braille at the bottom of it. She thought it was neat. Her reaction was similar to mine when I accidentally found it. This cafe is clean. Staff are friendly. The only downside was that there weren't any baked goods in the display case. I'm not sure why. Luckily, I wasn't in need for any, so I'm not docking any stars off my rating. There was a bin to put your glasses and dishes in by the garbage and recycle bin. I actually cleaned out my car and brought my empty beverage bottles in to be recycled. I loved being here. This cafe stands out. It is my favourite Starbucks cafe and I'm happy that I have one at long last. I hope to return and try the drive-thru. I'd also like to come back and have a drink in a glass. I don't usually write Yelp reviews for large chains, but this Starbucks truly deserves recognition. What sets this location apart is the people. The team is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. It never feels scripted. You feel welcomed, remembered, and taken care of every time you walk in. Even during busy periods, the staff stays calm, professional, and positive. There is clearly strong leadership and good training behind the scenes. The store feels well run, organized, and supportive, and that shows directly in the customer experience. The service is consistent, the details are handled well, and the energy in the space is always steady and welcoming. In a brand as large as Starbucks, it is rare to find a location that stands out this much. This one does because of the team culture, the care they bring to their work, and the way they represent the brand day in and day out. Corporate should be proud of the people working here. Highly recommend this location, not just for the coffee, but for the experience. read more

I came here to buy a "been-there" mug. The store was organized and clean. There were a few people sitting at the tables, enjoying their beverage. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I believe they were shorthanded to cover both the store and Drive-Thru. read more

I have been to this location on the Saturday before the government made a mandatory lockdown for 4 weeks (which started Oct. 22 I think). I walked in and got one of their Christmas drinks. People working there are nice. Also, there was barely anyone inside by the time I got there around noon so the service was pretty fast. However, there was a long line up of vehicles at the drive through so I suggest that you should inside and order because there is barely no one in line. read more

So it was that time of the month to redeem the stars. So I ordered two venti dark roast with white mocha syrup and with whip cream and some drizzle for 50 stars each. Rhe app had a restriction to do two. So when I was 5min away I pushed one order and a second order on arrival. It took about 5min for the order to be made. The baristas here are amazing, Dan especially above all is really fantastic. I've been to a lot of Starbucks locations and I'm a gold member since '07, so I've seen my share of good and bad customer service moments. I also judge these on an averages, not a one off bad experience. And this place has a high average of good experiences. They recently renovated and the new design is so much more spacious. Far more tables and a little quiet area off to the side, which is nice if you're doing work of some sort. More about the staff, there have been changes in staff in the 10 years I've been coming here. But they've always been friendly and genuine, so I imagine the management hiring here is pretty great. The current manager is also very friendly and whenever there are any problems with orders, she resolves them in an efficient and friendly manner. There's no blaming like I've seen at other locations. Great location right on Dundas close to the 403. The baristas are always very friendly and drinks are always made accurately. My only complaint is that this is such a busy location that we often have a hard time finding a seat. read more

This is your typical Starbucks... it is clean, convenient to the 403, and has a drive thru. Even at night, this place is super busy inside and out. I saw at least 5 cars in the drive thru and though there was no one in the line inside, most tables had some sitting there. I would say that it isnt the easiest to get in and out of as the entrance to the parking lot is not available to both street directions. It is a fairly clean space and there are enough tables to allow some groups to sit down. One thing is a worry... they prioritize the drive thru over the instore request. And if there is only one barista (in my case it was)... I was waiting nearly 10 minutes for my drink. Compared to other Starbucks with drive thru, I would say this is exceptionally slow. Overall my drink was ok... it wasn't watery or tasteless. I just dont think it's a great coffee spot or a great Starbucks either. read more

This is the closest Starbucks to where I work and I would frequent here often. I never had a bad experience so far here. The baristas are super friendly and have never screwed up one of my orders (in-person or mobile). Shout outs to that one barista (I forgot her name) who always rings in the perfect tasting drink when I order a drink and say "make it as healthy as possible". read more

I go through this drive thru almost every day. They now refuse to give you a venti or Trent a cup of water. It's ridiculous. You can see it's almost pleasurable to some of the barristas that they get excited to tell you they aren't giving you a trenta water. I spoke to a manager and he just gave me one. But really. Why argue about it. It's water. I purchase other things always. I have gone to several locations and this one is the only one who is trying to cheap out on cups. read more

So the Place is nice and Cozy. The music is not so loud that it becomes hard to work. The only reason I'm taking off 3 stars is that I saw flies all over the restaurant. In fact, I even saw the flies sitting on their food inside the glass cabinet (took a picture as a proof). I went to this Starbucks today and as soon as my friends and I walked in the workers were giving us dirty looks. After I placed my order I waited in the pick up line for 30 mins and all I ordered was one drink. It should not take that long. The workers were taking priority for the people ordering through the drive through but the people who were actually in the store had to wait way longer and there was so many people. They should organize so certain people make the drive through drinks and others make the inside people drinks read more

Barrista, who was also the supervisor for the night was super rude. I asked for a cookie they didn't have and he gave me attitude as if I was wasting his time by making a mistake. My order was terrible. My latte was half a cup of foam, hardly any coffee, my girlfriend ordered a drink without whip cream with almond milk, it had whip cream and regular milk and I only received one cookie when I ordered two. Was here a few days ago and this was the worst starbucks experience i have ever had. Tried to order and had to wait for baristas to finish having a conversation to be addressed. Ordered a soy espresso machiatto with soy milk and she tried to charge me for one scoop of soy foam but u can get an inch steamed for free, she did not want to adjust it and when i asked for the manager she said she was but i dont believe it. Then as the barista made my drink she was laughing so obnoxiously and having a conversation about very inappropriate topics with children at the ordering computer. Not sure exactly on their names because a few did not have them displayed but I was so upset because I used to come here before I moved and loved it here. Not sure who the manager actually is but the female baristas need to be retrained or fired because their conversations about substance use and partying do not belong in a family place. read more
