One of my friends got it with oat milk, but it muted the banana bread flavor a bit, so I wouldn't recommend that version. Located across the street from the beautiful waterfront. Make sure to plan your parking ahead of time, or use another means of public transportation/walk. The drinks are great. I highly recommend the Biscoff Latte. It's not too sweet and has a slightly buttery taste. They have a beautiful accessible washroom. But there's no wheel chair access or portable ramp available. There's no take out menu, so when I was at the location, my friend had to wait outside and I had to take photos of the menu on the wall and the food options and order for them. The cafe is great I just wish it was more accessible. There's accessibility grants for businesses available through the government, and with such a simple thing needed to make it that much more accessible, I'd love to bring ALL my friends here. read more

Tribeca is a cute little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Oakville. It looks small from the outside, but the interior has quite a bit of seating and is aesthetically pleasing with the industrial decor. I got the iced lavender chai and although it was good, it was quite grainy which is likely due to the Blume powder used for the drink - something to keep in mind of if you plan on ordering any drink that could be made with the Blume powder. Finally tried this coffee spot on Lakeshore. They offer such a variety of items here from drip coffee to specialty 'healthy' beverages, to baked goods and sandwiches. My friend and I both got drip medium roast coffee before our morning walk by the lake. The coffee was a bit bitter to me, but I would love to go back and try a cappuccino or latte to see how those fare. We noticed they had breakfast sandwiches so stopped back in before heading home. I got the sausage and egg and it was heated up for a few minutes on their panini press. It was delicious and I would definitely go back for one. Would be a great spot to meet a friend, have a business meeting, get some work done, or bring a book and have some alone time. read more

Stepping through the off-turquoise doors of Tribeca Coffee, you get a sense of a west coast vibe...but in Downtown Oakville. Cool...laid back...quiet. Dark wood floors welcome you with equally dark wooden tables. Modern equipment clashing with exposed brick walls and worn metal chairs. If cozy and inviting are the key highlights you are looking for, this is it. Had some time to venture through a small and very empty downtown core. Caffeine, hidden in a latte was the call to idle away the time. I have not been getting too much sleep lately, as I was trying to make things work in California. With the time difference, staying focused is a little difficult. The Tribeca Latte was definitely the right call to take the edge off. The latte was really good. Perfect temperature milk, with just the right amount of foam and espresso crema, to support the latte art - would like someone to give me something else than a heart, one of these days. All in all, a very good place to relax and do a bit of work or read a book; while enjoying a well craft beverage. Cheers. read more

So far it's one of the best coffee places I've visited in Canada! The coffee tasted way better than the famous Canadian chain Balzacs! If you are a coffee nerd who enjoys quality coffee such as Stumptown, Intelligentsia, and La Colombe, then I guarantee you would really dig this place because it's pretty much of the same caliber. My cortado was served with beautiful latte art, and the flavor was impeccable, it totally made my day. It's slightly more expensive compared to other coffeeshops but trust me, it's so worth it! I've worked in TriBeCa neighbhorhood for 10 years but ironically I didn't find that many great coffee there, lol. I had to go to nearby SoHo's Ground Support, or Everyman Espresso to get a cup of great cortado similar to what this place serves. I wish this place was really in TriBeCa! read more

Cute spot and location! The ambiance and vibe of the coffee shop is great, however the coffee could use some improvement. We ordered a vanilla latte with double shot and a white choc mocha frappe. The white choc mocha frappe was tasteless and flavorless like just milk and ice blended together. Such a charming and cute coffee shop. They have tables and couches sprayed out indoors and a few tables outside. They also support locals with some cute ceramic products, coffee and other food items. Amazing service from the staff. They were super helpful and explained their products very well. I grabbed their seasonal drink, iced lavender chai. I've tried lavender chai from elsewhere and didn't like it so gave it another shot here. I've concluded its not for me. Although it was really nicely put, i find the floral aroma too strong for myself but I know others will like it. They also have these very scrumptious doughnuts, "wallflower doughnuts." The back entrance also has direct access to the municipal parking lot if you cannot find a metered parking space along Lakeshore. Flat White is well made with the correct ratio of espresso to milk. Even the cup for the coffee shown that the business really takes their coffee seriously! Cold brew nitro coffee available, worth coming back on a warmer day to give that a try, as not too many coffee shops offers that! Tribeca Coffee probably one of the better coffee shops in the area. What a cool spot! From the outside it looks like it's narrow frontage is going to yield and equally small coffee shop - which is partly why I never ventured in here (I figured a cool spot like this would be tough to find a seat). Au Contraire! Tribeca Coffee is as big as they come when talking indie coffee shops. It's long and narrow and has ample seating at both communal, 2-top, 4-top and high top tables throughout the venue. Upon entering your met with a long bar coffee service station. You'd think you were about to order a craft beer or cocktail instead of a coffee and a pastry. I ordered my standard 1st time coffee shop visit order, a pastry and an americano. The beans used in the Americano had a light fruitiness to them and finished clean, making for an excellent coffee to drink black - I really enjoyed the aroma and flavour of the coffee. The Cinnamon bun was also pretty good. A little dry for my taste because I tend to enjoy the messy, icing sugar covered version you get at Cinnabon. Their version was more like the fusion between a croissant and a cinnamon bun - flaky and cinnamon-y. Yum! The Wi-Fi is free, but don't expect to stay long, it appears they've purposely restricted any power receptacles. I would have stayed longer and bought more food and drink but being a remote employee I was bound by the length of my battery life. Also, as an additional fun fact they have a enclosed fishbowl type meeting room which I believe is meant for co-working or meetings. A great thing to have in any local community for sure. It's a bright spot for the DT Oakville community which seems to be struggling to maintain tenants either due to low traffic or high rent. Hopefully places like this can be anchors for change! Tribeca has all the right makings for a great coffee spot... especially out in the 905 burbs. I would just be jumping up and down if a spot like this was in Mississauga. When walking in, we spotted Pilot and Propeller coffee beans (Toronto roasters) and Sloane on the walls. The good stuff you'd want to see in a coffee spot. When you first walk in, I noticed how large and spacious it was beyond the barista place. The aesthetics is a chill, modern, and comfortable place. Cozy would be another good word to describe this place. Lots of natural light is found with the skylights. It does have a lot of tables available. Some are larger tables in their coffee tasting or lesson room and others are elevated bar seating. On a Weekend morning, it was busy ... all the tables were taken and unlike Toronto, the tables weren't crowded by laptops. It was just filled with people enjoying conversations. Service here is friendly ... but slow and maybe a bit confused too. We were greeted nicely and first in line but we noticed after our order, the line up grew to 4 people behind us and stayed that way for quite some time. Unlike Toronto spots, I don't think they started on our drinks for at least another 4 minutes and then they forgot the 2nd drink. As for their menu, it's a large one with many interesting seasonal choices. They had butter coffee, bombproof matcha which I learned is matcha version of butter coffee, and other interesting drinks. We ordered up our favourite espresso based drink, flat white, and also their seasonal option of the salted caramel flat white. Flat White - I'm not sure this drink was off because it was the one that she forgot to make the first time we waited for drinks. More akin to a cappuccino and latte, this drink was frothy and had more milk to water down the already weak espresso shot. It felt like we were drinking warmed milk. 2/5 Salted Caramel Flat White - Faring a little better because of the addition of the Torani caramel sauce. The first sips was like the other flat white. Over frothed instead of micro foam and really light in flavour. It just had a mild sweetness at first. Unlike other commercial syrups, they usually mix in naturally as you place the espresso and milk into the cup. This caramel sauce just sat at the bottom of the cup and made it undrinkable for the last 30%. It was just too much thick sweetness at the end. 2.5/5 The quality of drinks unfortunately reminded us a bit of Starbucks with its drink being mild and weak in the espresso shot. Maybe an off day with the barista and feeling overwhelmed with the long line up? I'm not sure but unfortunately not a spot I could say it was good for flat white. read more

Thought I would treat myself and try something new DT Oakville. Ordered a mocha xtra hot and a croissant. Mocha was not extra hot and honestly was the worst tasting coffee Ive ever had. Coffee is ok. Staff is great, they have some of the nicest baristas there. BUT the Manager/owner is always hovering around and seems to be micromanaging. Not really a nice calming environment to enjoy. Used to love going there but the past few visits there is obvious tension and it's uncomfortable. The pumpkin spice latte was good, cinnamon was a bit over powered rather than pumpkin flavour, suggest to add a bit more pumpkin purée. Pour over was good, a bit on the light side, but as good as it should be. The croissant was ok, could be a bit fresher to match a New York coffee shop. read more

The first time I tried TriBeCa I ordered the nitro coffee and my friend had an iced Americano. I did not like the nitro, but I think that's just my own taste. It was super bitter and I think the quality of the coffee was lost to that taste. My friend commented that her Americano was weak. The next time, I had the cortado which I LOVED! This is great if you love espresso based drinks but really just want to enjoy the espresso without the amount of milk of a cappuccino or latte. I had the chocolate pecan butter tart which I enjoyed. Great staff and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or getting work done. I wish Oakville had more independent coffee places like this read more

A well designed, comfortable spot to get a coffee that is a step above the typical chains. Although, the top 40 on the sound system removes the pretentiousness associated with a great coffee shop, it also takes away from the experience. The Pilot beans used had a good savoury flavour in the espresso I started with, but was a bit thin and could do with more body. They didn't have 1% which is the norm for this type of place, but was pleasantly surprised to be offered skim for the latte, which I much prefer. The sweetness from the expert steaming was a treat. In the latte, the Pilot bean used was a bit overpowered by the skim milk. I'll inquire on bean specifics and if any other bean options are available on my next visit. Overall, with a little fine tuning, Tribeca is close to being as good as the best Toronto coffee spots. read more

I've been around to these hipster-esque coffee places like Tamp coffee co. in Burlington and just came here for the first time with my parents. The latte was good, just like tamp, and it was just as you'd expect frequenting places like this. The taste of the espresso was good, according to my mom. The butter tart was okay but the cookie we got was hard and stale tasting. You can find better cookies at Tim Horton's for much cheaper.
