We actually learned they have ties to Tampa, where we are from. He gave us suggestions on some places to visit AND suggested donuts to try. We had the raspberry filled, apple fritter, lemon filled and chocolate frosted with sprinkles. Their filled flavors were soooo good and the fritter was amazing. Definitely a place to stop at and spend a little time, and we hope to come back before our trip is through.

Only thing I didn't like was that we were seated right next to the entrance door, and it was a very cold rainy day. The owner propped the front door open and it was freezing. I finally decided to ask him to shut it, but he told me that his wife (the cook) got really hot back in the kitchen so that was why it was open. Well, fix the problem within the kitchen (like maybe a big fan?!), then your customers can thaw out and enjoy their food. That did not sit right with me.

The prices from what I saw seemed to be pretty average, although a few products were higher than expected. I honestly wouldn't be able to say much except that in the town of Murphy, this seems to be the bougie market. It's either this or Walmart far out. No complaints really. I bought instant coffee for later, not to mention I drank a pumpkin spice latte at their Starbucks, where the staff was really pleasant.

Sent an email to corporate asking a few questions and got a canned "AI" type response, I've since emailed back TWICE asking for clarifications on the labeling and crickets! I've spent lot's of $ at the Murphy Ingles in particular over the years and shopped several times a week there & they seem to be in decline overall. Time to find a new place to shop it seems!

As a home brewer for 30 years (my dog is named Simcoe after a hop) i may be a little picky but i didn't find one beer i didn't like. I was very impressed. The food was amazing. Their desert we didn't need was amazing. When we travel back from Tennessee to South Carolina we have found a new brewery we will stop at. I wish they had a place we could eat with our puppy. The sauce on the gyro was one of the best sauces. The Philly cheesesteak was perfectly done and full of seasoning. The hamburgers were thick and almost hard to eat because of the size lol! The staff was friendly. We ended up with a pie to go, which everyone said was very good.
