I always enjoy going to this Starbucks! It's conveniently located right before the entrance ramps to I-75 making it the perfect place to stop on the way to run errands. The service is generally pretty efficient when it's busy, but sometimes the line can get really long. I recommend placing an order on the app so you can just run in and pick it up when it's ready! This place is a shit show. I like to enjoy my coffee inside,sit down and catch up on my current events, pod cast etc.. I ordered ahead from this location from The App, So I get to the store the inside is closed, forced to get inline at the drive through, took 40 minutes. My hot drink is now extremely cold. I asked for a credit, they scanned my app, I get 15 miles away and my app updates to learn they billed me again for a drink I never got.... First off, I get that this place might have been short handed, good management would have turned the remote ordering, wait at least 60 minutes before locking the front door allowing the balance of the pickups to get picked up inside before forcing everyone through the dive through line. it's not about $6.26, it's about real customer service. Managers should be true managers, not 22 year olds that are balancing 3 jobs snd school. What a joke read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share that I was pretty disappointed with my first visit to this Starbucks location. I ordered my usual matcha drink, but unfortunately it mostly tasted like straight milk with very minimal matcha flavor. There was also a noticeable amount of matcha powder settled at the bottom of the cup, which indicated the drink wasn't blended properly. For the price, that was disappointing. The customer service could improve. The interaction at the window felt disengaged and she made it seemed like she hated being there, which made the experience felt unwelcoming overall. Everyone has off days, but as a first impression, this location didn't meet the standard I'm used to. I'll continue going to the Lapeer Rd. location, where the drinks and service have been more consistent and reliable. read more

Heading home from Detroit, I wanted some coffee and so I saw that there was a Starbucks near by, so I placed an order on the app and sat in the parking lot and waited. Their drive-thru line was all the way out in the road. I hate this because it puts people in danger when they make these locations like this where the line ends up in the street like that. I really do not like to leave bad reviews (especially my Starbucks) but this location has been going downhill. In the spring I called to pre order some coffee crafts (the totes of coffee)... they took my order down and I came in person and pre-paid for the items. I was very specific on when (day and time needed) and who would pick up the order. we agreed that it would be ready at x time which was earlier than we needed it just as a buffer. When we went to pick up the order, they had not even started the order. then proceed to say they didn't have enough totes. even after several confirmations and heads up to have everything they needed on time, it wasn't ready. Our order for our guests didn't arrive on time and the solve for not having a tote was to fill a ton of coffee cups with coffee. can you imagine driving with that many cups of coffee? I have followed up 8, yes EIGHT times to speak with a manager and have not received any feedback, including me going into the store, leaving my number 3 times and calling. Drive thru usually has long lines but my last visits I been the first in line or like today I was the third car in line. Even know the inside is close you have a patio if you would like to stop and have your coffe. I went with my usual featured dark roast venti with almond milk ( can't have regular milk anymore ). I placed an order online when I pulled up I told the young lady my order name she said yes it's ready pull up. As I'm sitting at the window there's a lady sweeping and lady cleaning the equipment and a lady at the window zoned out at the register doesn't pay me no mind walks away they all talk. Stopped in the other night after shopping at Great Lakes Crossing. The service was polite, even friendly, and expedient. No lines, no fuss, no muss. My husband and I ordered caramel machs and chocolate croissants. The barista warmed up the croissants for us (nice touch, and they weren't too hot, as in nuclear hot like some places do it). The drinks were whipped up perfectly and were ready to go almost immediately. While we were there only a half hour or so before they closed for the evening, the croissants were actually quite good and still incredibly moist. Wow. I must say, my expectations were kinda on the low end because most of the time, muffins and croissants are dry as hell by the end of the night, but not these. A few of the tables were still in need of cleaning, but I'll chalk it up to it being late in the day. The drinks, croissants and service were all excellent. The only caveat is getting in and out (like so many businesses and strip malls) around that corridor was kind of a pain in the butt. It's a bit tricky to navigate that stretch of business district if you don't live there (I don't). At any rate, this was a pretty nice Starbucks, even though the traffic sucked nearby and the parking could've been better. Absolutely not. Are you kidding me???? We roll through the drive through, and almost hit a sign placed in the drive stating they're closed. A note on their front door says they've changed their hours of operation. The note states they are open 6AM to 11AM while online it clearly states the hours of operation as 5AM-6PM. Really? Five hours. I got there at 11:07AM and could not get a coffee. Not getting a coffee is not a big deal. What is a big deal is that companies are changing their hours to suit their employees who don't want to work. Are you telling me absolutely no one wants a coffee after 11AM but you can't change your hours so that people driving out of their way can change their plans accordingly and go elsewhere? I hate this location! Several times they get my order wrong. I finally learned my lesson. I asked for a hot peppermint tea with some steamed milk. This is a simple order. Or so I thought. They told me to pull around for my total. When I did they said they were out of peppermint tea but had spearmint. I said fine. Then after handing it to me they said they only had 1 tea bag but usually gave two. I then asked about the size. It was not a venti. Then I was told with only 1 bag they thought a tall would be better. Then they forgot the milk! So I have a small spearmint tea that I paid for that I do not want. This is one of the closest Starbucks to my house...and luckily for me the BEST service I've had at any location! Even though they are right off the highway and super busy, they always have my mobile orders ready promptly and are always so nice. I go to a Starbucks almost everyday, not always this location depending on where I'm traveling that day, but this one is by far the best and if I ever do have to wait for something (even just an extra minute), they always give me a $4 courtesy card to use next time...without complaints or anything! Although this has only happened twice in the hundreds of times I've gone. The best..keep it up! read more

Here's another example of a place that is always busy because it's the only one around, not because it's great. Orders come out pretty slowly on a consistent basis, even when it's not a particularly busy time. My breakfast sandwich is frozen in the middle 4 out of 5 times, and the 5th time it's volcanic, so I'm not sure if that's the microwave's problem or the person pushing the "sandwich" button's problem. Either way, it's a health safety issue. One tip for getting your order quickly is to make it through the Starbucks app, and it's ready when you arrive. You can either get it from the drive through or walk inside and pick it up at the counter. But what? Actual human interaction and needing to get out of my car? Gross. :P read more
