Such a cute little coffee shop! Plenty of parking on the street and nearby lots. They were slammed which caused service to lack a bit. We only received one of our items at first and I had to go back to the counter twice to remind them about the rest of our order. Drinks were good though and the cheesecake was such a great sweet treat! Love the vibe in there as well. Seems like a great place to get some work done or catch up with friends. $45 for 4 bagels that were all trash! Besides the fact that we waited 25 minutes all our food was COLD! Bagels were not toasted like we asked. The salmon bagel was outrageously small for $11! The panini!!! OMG don't call it a panini if it's not one, call it a cold sandwich, and the Italian bagel, they need to learn the difference between mortadella and Bologna. Small downtown area, about 2-3 blocks long. We ate brunch at Peaches. Had some coffee and tea at Main Treat located in an old bank and walked through and bought a few items at Town Hall Antique. A sushi shop and a grocery store downtown and a toy store. Not a lot of shopping, but still a downtown nonetheless. read more

They have the best tasting coffee. Many sweet treat options including gelato. The ambience is art deco bank. Absolutely love the vault room being a game room but also could be used for meetings. Stepping inside, you immediately notice the character and individuality of the space. I told the barista, "This coffee shop has such a great vibe; before, it felt like walking into a bar." The shop is housed in an old historical bank, featuring beautiful high ceilings and ample space to accommodate many customers. The coffee is really good here, and I tried the fruit pebbles and expresso macaroon. Along with the Carmel Macchiato - it needs to be stirred very well or (in my opinion taste to sweet) but when it was stirred together well tasted so good . Now service was so/so there was alot of people behind the counter and only 2 people at the end of the bar waiting for orders but I was waiting for quite so time before someone helped me. But when someone did get to me they were friendly and answered any questions I had. FYI for some reason the entrance door was really hard to open and it was stuck. read more

I came here during the peach festival, and the line is pretty long. The indoor seating is very minimal, and most people got the drink to-go. They also sell some handmade arts/decoration pieces from local artists in the store, many items are so cute! They have very delicious drinks, we tried the matcha with strawberry cream on top. Get it together with your mobile app ordering please! I know you're moving into a new location soon, and maybe you'll have worked this out by then, but every single time I order online, there is a problem. I love your place, but more than once now, coffee syrups or other ingredients that are listed as options on the app are not actually available. The beverages ordered are never ready when they are supposed to be when I come in, and if they are, I still have to wait in line just to let someone know I placed an online order. Otherwise, nobody acknowledges you standing there waiting. What is the point of a mobile app then? It's just so annoying. Another concern...why do you put smoothie lids or lids for drinks with whipped cream on an iced coffee with cold foam?! Cold foam is meant to be sipped with the iced coffee. For the price you're charging, give customers the right lids, or maybe don't offer cold foam. read more

We enjoyed a dirty chai (spicy and strong!), Americano, brown sugar/white chocolate/cinnamon latte (really wonderful combo - I'd probably go with dark chocolate next time to cut the sweetness a bit), a bagel, and some macaroons to go. Everything was made on the spot, tasted fresh and delicious, but they were slammed! We waited half an hour between waiting to order and then receiving our items. This is our favorite coffee shop in the metro Detroit area. The interior space reflects a charming blend of historic Romeo, housed in a beautiful former bank replete with touches including an actual, repurposed bank vault and fun lounge seating area tucked behind a bank "teller window". We haven't even gotten into the coffee and treats, which are top-notch across the board. The team provides service with a smile, and you can tell given the repeat customer base that you see when visiting that this is a local gem - and sought out by non-Romeo residents equally for all of its unique and special qualities! I truly appreciate a small hometown cafe like this. It's got that character we are always in search of. You get greeted when you walk in and it's not a generic "welcome to $$$". It's right on Main Street as the name suggests; I ordered Ren's apple cold brew. You definitely get that apple flavor and it's a refreshing drink. It was perfect for a remarkably cold morning in august. I also got an Asiago cheese bagel with the honey and cinnamon cream cheese, a solid bagel but there wasn't as much of an Asiago flavor as you might think, I'm nitpicking though. I plan on coming back real soon and trying a few more drinks here, from the other pictures it would appear they have some sort of coffee flight option and I am intrigued. read more

Genuinely, this is one of the best coffees I have ever had in my life. It was flavorful, hot, creamy, but still had the flavor of coffee and not just sugar. The only thing that's disappointing is all of their specialty coffees aren't displayed anywhere. So if your brand new like I was, you have no idea what flavors they offer, specialty drinks, etc. to not be boring and order a coffee with cream and vanilla, I had to ask the barista if they have any recommendations. It's like a breath of fresh air in the neighborhood Take your time perusing the menu/offerings written behind the counter and along the register space, especially the specials and staff creations! I thought I knew what I wanted before the temptations of the staff list! I went with a tea+almond milk+pineapple purée "Colada" drink that was perfect! I don't like super sweet drinks and this was perfectly balanced. (And made so quickly too!) This is the first place where I've seen coffee tasting flights, as well as tea based lattes. There was also an impressive selection of flavor shots to choose from. For milks, the options were impressed. I ended up leaving with a breve, and it was delicious. Creamy, with caramel notes, and none of the bitterness or acidity that I encounter at other establishments. Just a perfect coffee flavor. Well we got there at 8:45pm and they closed at 9pm we were asked to get our order in because they were closing at 9pm so we were like ok no problem we both ordered the cold brew. Coffee was decent tasting but as I was 2/3 done I literally sucked up a fly through the straw into my mouth I knew what ever it was wasn't supposed to be in my coffee. So I pit it out into my hand and seen it was a fly. Now our drinks had lids on them and I doubt a fly went down my straw but nonetheless it was gross. Not sure how they store the coffee for cold brew but I am going to guess not covered. read more

This place was hopping for Sunday afternoon. Easily accessible with street parking. Music was not too loud. Lavatory is artful, clean, and stocked. Decor has eclectic art pieces. Service was personable. Seats about 20 inside, and more (patio) seating if you're a true blue shorts-wearing Michigander that relishes sittting outdoor when temps get to at least 50 degrees. Have frequented this coffee shop more than once and thought it was time to get a review out! Last visit was a couple Friday's ago when it was really windy out-but we decided to sit outside anyway on the cute little patio area facing main street. As for me-I've always enjoyed eating outside more than inside if it's got a good view or a cute setup(even way before the pandemic)! There are always customers here, & a guy waited on us that I think may be the owner...? I met him a long time ago on 1st visit here but can't remember what he looked like! Either way, if him-he is always accommodating and friendly. From first visit here amid a pandemic, they were following all the protocols needed to keep staff and customers safe-I remember one time it was curbside only but they had the patio set up with heaters(!!) for customers. What other coffee shop did that? There was even a roof of sorts put up in case of rain(or snow). Moving on to July 2021-all open, patio still usable, still cute place inside, still great staff, and great drinks, food. It is a little pricey for eating compared to say a Coney Island, but if you want a great coffee, this is a good place. Atmosphere is a+ with some really cool artwork inside for sale. Cool bathroom, always clean. Unfortunately, I can't remember what exactly we had to drink or eat(will see in pics), but the sandwich we ended up splitting was enough to fill us up with the large coffees we got.
