I don't think I've ever been to this location. It's quaintly located inside a plaza - so there's oodles of parking. Nikki at the counter was wonderfully patient with me when I couldn't decide between the pumpkin cold brew and the new iced pecan latte . We talked through the pumpkins cold brew being more coffee forward and how it may pair better with my warmed chocolate croissant. We made the right choice. Her excitement about the iced pecan latte has enticed me to try it on my next Starbucks visit. The plaza was quiet, and Starbucks remained with a constant flow of individuals and families. Some dined at the tables, while most took theirs to go. I forgot to take a picture of the stools in the window to enjoy a little observing while one sips and chews. The team was fully staffed and more were coming in to join the squad. Each team member I encountered was nice and offered a smile. This is far from where I live, yet the customer service (and assortment of cups ) will keep this on my radar the next time I'm on this side of town. Was happy to see this Starbucks location while visiting Orlando after spending almost a week of drinking hotel coffee. We were actually grabbing a bagel next door at Einstein Bros. Bagels and I saw Starbucks was right there, so while waiting in line for my bagel at the other store I was able to log into my Starbucks app and order a couple of high octane coffees. Not good for working It's a good location and the menu is typical Starbucks. The staff are friendly and the service is speedy. But there is very little indoor seating. In Florida! So I'm sitting at a patio table sweltering. There's no place to plug in; I found an outdoor outlet, but it doesn't work. The ONLY reason I came here was there's a power outage in my apartment building; I wanted air conditioning and to recharge my laptop, and I don't have either. It's 85°F out, which is not bad for Florida, but that's because there's heavy cloud cover and it's about to rain. At least the Wi-Fi is fast. read more

This Starbucks is right across the street from another Starbucks. I don't get it. This location was just meh. Service was fine - probably better than most. The barista at the register was friendly. There was quite a line so it took a while for my soy latte. As others have noted, this location seemed to be very busy. I tried to sit outside but found a man smoking at one of the tables provided for Starbucks customers. Pretty sure you're not supposed to smoke so close to a public building... but it made for a very uncomfortable reading environment so I moved inside. The interior seating was awkward. The empty table I sat at collided with the Starbucks order line, so I was sitting right next to people waiting in line. The seats are older, not the updated design I see in the newer Starbucks. Overall, I wasn't super impressed with this location - if I'm ever in the area again, I would prefer the location across the street. read more

I stopped in yesterday to redeem stars set to expire. Indoor seating has currently been removed and there were clear markers for social distancing. There are a few outdoor tables available for seating. The cashier was kind enough to modify one of my orders for the 50 star redemption. I enjoy this Starbucks, especially if I'm wanting to sit around and have a chat or just sip quietly and enjoy my beverage .... (and to eat a treat that I shouldn't be having ... damn you cake pops and banana bread!). This is a good Starbuck's location for that. Its older but cozy and I know that if I'm not in a hurry and in the area, I'll be going to this Starbucks. Now, if you are looking for an "in and out" drink, this probably isn't the location for you, (unless you are already doing business in the shopping complex and want a drink.) This location is in a complex, there is no drive thru, and usually parking is hard to find as the entire area is pretty busy throughout the day. Also saying that, depending on how busy it is, you might have to search for a seat inside if you are wanting to hang. There is plenty of seating outside as well. I've lived in the area now for 26 years, and I've been going to this location for all of that time. Much more so from 1998 through 2012 or so, but I still stop by. Interesting fact, this was one of the very earliest few Starbucks locations in all of the greater Orlando area around 1998. In the entire state of Florida, the very first two locations were down in the Miami suburbs in 1997. Many stores around Orlando have been added, come, and gone, but this one has always been in this same spot in the Dr. Phillips Marketplace, standing the test of time. I've seen it go through a lot of changes over the past 26 years. I do miss how it used to be in earlier times. There used to be a lot of seating, with big comfortable upholstered armchairs, lighting right near the seats, many tables, lots of merchandise including coffee makers and other brewing equipment, and some other details like a physical 3D display by the espresso machines showing the evolution of coffee roasting. I seems to remember a barista telling me about some famous people like members of *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys coming in to the location too, back in their earliest days in Orlando. I actually once ran into Tiger Woods at the location very long ago too, around 2000. The location has become kind of a long-standing landmark for me, but has always been good. I remember so many faces of baristas who worked there for years and years, and during the aftermath of hurricane Charley in 2004, I took my laptop to the location for wifi when my own internet and power was out for a few days. So stop by a local Orlando Starbucks landmark. It may seem underwhelming by today's standards, and you have dozens and dozens of choices for locations in the area today, but the Dr. Phillips Starbucks is worth a visit. read more

This is a nice Starbucks. The baristas are very friendly and helpful. The sitting area is large and comfortable, and the display case is very pretty. This Starbucks is in a convenient plaza and close to a lot of different stores. I came here with a friend, and we arrived pretty late. It was about 9pm but everyone was still very cheerful. We shared a pastry (coffee cake) and they gave us a plate and utensils to use. They also warmed up the cake for us. I had a passion-fruit hot tea and it was flavorful. My friend got a chai-tea and seemed to enjoy it. We ended up sitting for a long time and chatting. The baristas didn't pressure us to leave, and were very polite the whole time. We didn't end up leaving until almost 10pm (which is when they close), but we they didn't try to rush us out. Overall, this is a very clean location. It's seating area is comfortable, and they have a nice display case. They also have friendly employees. read more

Great neighborhood starbucks. It's quick and easy to order at this location. There's no drive through so there's no need to worry about waiting in line because of it. The location has some indoor seating, about average compared to other starbucks. There's nice outdoor seating that's covered by the building too. This Starbucks is pretty awesome because it is now the oldest location in Orlando. It has a old retro vibe and really hard working staff. They do mobile orders, have free WiFi, and a great music selection you can see on your Starbucks app. You can sit on the patio outside and people watch. This is a much busier location then the one across the street. They have ample outdoor seating and it is covered so you don't have to worry about burning. It's a small store but they handled the crowd with ease. I was very happy with the service there and the cleanliness of the location. My only issue is the soy milk. They didn't allow me to pour it in myself and I kept having to tell the barista to pour more in. Little thing, just a little annoying about her judgement looks on my preference for lighter coffee :) But I still tipped anyway! Tip your baristas!! read more

I came in here to redeem my birthday drink, since Starbucks recently made it so that we only have one day to redeem drinks. [Me and my barista had a talk about how over the course of 2 years the reward went from a week to fulfill the offer to literally a day. Which is whackkk]. This place is very nice and modern looking. I'm not too sure if they have a bathroom. They made my drink very quick and tasted so scrumptious. While I was struggling to log into my account they made my drink for me anyway and rang me up when I had it. Didn't feel rushed at all. It smelled good like baked goods. I can't comment on how they would be if it were a rush since 1) it was close to closing time and 2) barely anyone was in the store (refer to point one as to why) 5/5 for Jack the Cashier/Barista for being so friendly and efficient. That being said, I have begun to appreciate Starbucks because it is consistent from location to location and because there really are not a lot of other convenient options for espresso beverages. There are 3 Starbucks within 10 minute driving distance to our house, this is the one we frequent the most. Friendly and knowledgeable staffs, nice and neat setup, never a long time. I never had any problem with this location. There was one time where I mobile ordered something to pick up from this location, and when I arrived they ran out of the drink that I ordered.
