Yesterday, I had some extra time and decided to stop by on my own. The bánh mì sandwich was good, although I have had better elsewhere. Unfortunately, the customer service left me disappointed. There were two women working when I visited, and I did not receive a greeting, smile, or a welcoming atmosphere. As a first-time customer under the new ownership, that first impression mattered a lot. I genuinely hope O Happy Bakery succeeds under its new ownership, and I would encourage the team to focus on creating a friendlier, more welcoming environment. Great food brings customers in, but great customer service is often what brings them back.

When we got to the window I was asked for a tip first, which is garish when no service has occurred in a drive thru, and then handed a drink with no indication of which one it was with coffee dripping from the bottom of the cup. I had to ask which one it was and have it wiped. They handed it back, and then handed me the second one we ordered but with the sip top lid and no straw. By the time I realized I couldn't drink it like this I was out of the drive thru. No worries, I'll just pop inside, thus defeating the purpose of driving thru and get my straw, except no I won't because the interior was closed for a staff meeting and even though I walked to the door and gestured for a straw, the staff looked at me and then shook their heads and looked away. In the end I went next door to Carl's Jr and the lady gave me a straw. Total waste of my time, rude unhelpful staff, inconvenient location, and mediocre overpriced coffee.
