Love me some Starby's. Stopped in the Pendleton store drive thru line backed up so made it hard to get into parking lot. Once inside there were about 6 people waiting on orders. We walked right up to order. We ordered 1 hot drink and 1 iced. 1 breakfast sandwich, egg bites and oatmeal. Cold drink and breakfast sandwich came out first after about 5 min then we waited another 10-15 min for my hot drink and oatmeal and egg bites. Employee said they do the food in order which was t the case since we ordered the sandwich at the same time. Store employees need better rhythm. Many people got there food before I did. Food expectations and drinks are standard of Starbucks so it was good. 3 stars due to LONG wait times. read more

Typical Starbucks experience. So, they cannot rinse a brought in Starbucks ceramic cup. You have to go to the restroom and rinse it yourself. Really? Easy off and on if you're passing through eastbound. Shorted me on my 12 ounce latte coffee. (Chose not to engage with them on it). Service otherwise was fair. Typically avoid Starbucks. read more

Attitude is everything. While waiting for someone to take my order, I looked in the pastry case thinking that I may also get a scone. The case had several flies inside it. I quickly changed my mind. After several minutes, I'm greeted and I place my order for a tall black americano. I noted that not one employee had names on their aprons. After a 15 minute wait I asked how much longer and was told that they were busy and I will have my coffee when they get to it. Looking around, I noticed there were only 4 other people in the store and the store is dirty. Tables, floor, counters and flies. Behind the counter, there were two employees putting away sandwiches and pastries in the frig. Heard another customer say something about the wait and the lack of customer service. One the employees must have heard that because she turned the music volume up. After waiting for another 5-7 minutes I asked for a refund and ask for a refund. I asked to speak with the store manager and told that they don't have one. Imagine that... Starbucks in Pendleton lost a loyal customer. I got my coffee from McDonald's. A lot of people were hacking on the service here so did not have high expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised. Mike was friendly and efficient, helped me navigate the menu and efficiently took care of all the customers. The drive thru line was around the building and they were down an espresso machine, but even given all that my order (2 drinks and 2 bfast items) was made correctly including modifiers, and drinks and food hit the spot. Would definitely return, and I'm not that big of a Starbucks fan but it's the most consistent option and this one deserves a try. read more

I give this Starbucks a five star because the staff here truly deserves it. A couple of years ago, I left my wallet in the men's bathroom, and drove 90 miles away before I relaized it. Luckily it was turned in, and when I returned to get it, THEY tried to buy me a drink for MY troubles... I stop here a lot on my way back and forth from Idaho to Oregon, and the crew here is always friendly. They also have not failed in any drink order of mine. Tastes great each time. Stopped here for coffee on Sunday afternoon while traveling. Just wanted drip coffee. I left without being served after 15 min wait. At most Starbucks, the cashier will get you drip coffee. Here you have to wait for all those ahead of you, ordering fancy drinks. When I asked why I was waiting so long, I was told that it is their policy to fill orders in sequence, even if an order for drip is easy to fill quickly. I told her this was stupid, and she agreed. Don't go here unless you are willing to wait a long time. read more

The local Starbucks underwent a makeover inside and since then the service has left much to be desired. Drive through orders are extremely slow coming out. I do wonder if they hired all new staff when they reopened after their remodel and they just aren't up to snuff yet. The staff prior to the remodel were quick to get orders out. Be still my heart--a Starbucks right off the freeway in the middle of nowhere??? Yeah, that's what I thought until I ended up with a brat of a teenager serving me. The place is dead and we're the only ones in the drivethru. I order two very uncomplicated drinks. The female voice asks me to repeat the order. Ok--I say the order again. She says come to the window. I get there and she asks what they are again. No biggie--I tell here. Then my brother in the backseat jokingly chastises me for ordering "complicated" drinks to which I reply "It's not complicated!" in a very not-mean or rude way, as it was directed to my brother. Just passing through town and stopped and got some coffees. I ordered an iced Carmel macchiato with an extra shot and sugar free Carmel but obviously it was not sugar free bcuz I am TWEAKING. There was only 2 ice cubes so it wasn't easy swallowing that shit. Anyways moral of the story, the spinach wraps and cake pops are good but the coffee is debatable. Traveling, came in for coffee and breakfast. Handed me the wrong drink, and then argued with me. Definitely not what I want to deal with BEFORE my coffee. Right? We went inside to order, there were 6 staff members working and nobody acknowledged us for more than a minute. Took our order and made my husbands drink right away, but left my daughter and I waiting for 13 minutes for our pink drinks. When she gave them to me I mentioned they looked pretty white to be a pink drink and maybe it needed more tea, and she said since I ordered it no ice it didn't get shaken and that's why. I order this same drink 3X a week and it's always pink... she added more tea and now it tastes great. Went through and asked to add a coffee at the window (and I've worked in this industry before so I get it when it's frustrating for them) but an older lady that was taking orders completely told me no. I come down to Pendleton, OR a couple times a year for the Poker Round Up at the Wild Horse Casino. The person who took our order was very professional and friendly. As for the barista who made the drink....I am speechless. First off I work at a Starbucks for the past 6 years (not trying to brag) but I know how a cup of coffee should taste. I order a Venti Americano with 3 pumps of white mocha. After I added a splash of cream, I notice the color of the coffee was watery. She only put 2 shots of esspresso in the drink which should of had 4. She seems frustrated and pissed when I complained about the drink. She ended up re-making the drink. I also order a Quad Venti White Mocha extra hot for a friend. When I got back to the hotel he took a sip and had this disgusted look. I then took a sip myself I notice it was not stirred and it was only a double shot (I know how a quad venti white mocha taste like). Not only that, the drink was luke-warm. I understand it took me about 10-15 min to get back to the hotel but it should of stayed at least hot. I felt when I was complaining about the americano she decided to punish me by purposely messing up the White Mocha. Never again will I go to this Starbucks, We either get coffee at the casino or go to the Safeway Starbucks instead. read more

We stopped here when we were driving through. I gotta say that the service here was memorable. The staff were exceptionally friendly. One woman (don't remember her name) asked all customers for their name, then she told everyone her name and asked them how they were doing.
