Street parking, so plan ahead. There is quite a bit of indoor seating, as well as outdoor and pet-friendly seating. You seat yourself, get your menus inside, and order inside (Food is brought to your table, and you pay inside). Hot & cold sandwiches, salads, pizza, breakfast & appetizers. Full bar with cocktails, beer, and wine. Pizza was delicious, and boxes are available for leftovers.

This place is GREAT! Cozy. Comfortable. The friendliest staff. And, oh, the food is good. Reasonably priced and generous portions. The small salad was enough for my wife and me. Along with my sister, the three of us each ordered our own personal sized pizza. We each needed a box and left for home with a half of pizza to eat the next day.

Delicious pizza & beer! All of the sandwiches and salads going by looked great too. What a great atmosphere! Will definitely have to make another stop in when passing through again so I can peruse the large wine section.

Stopped in on our way back from Boise for lunch. They have a wide variety of pizza and hot or cold sandwiches. A huge wine selection and beer on tap. Fresh baked cookies and hand made truffles. Would definitely come back. No wait service, Order at counter only.

The Fowl Play pizza. Chicken pot pie on a pie

Wine and coffee. And pizza and beer. And... Right. The name is a bit misleading. Although you dine surrounded by dozens of bottles of local wine. Get the pizza. Crust is moderately thin? We started with a Caesar salad. Nothing more than shaved parm cheese and croutons on chopped romaine lettuce. The showpiece dressing was weak on substance and fell short on flavor. But the accompanying hunk of bread was hot out of the oven. The beer selection was small but tapped cold. Sticky Hands was a solidly good local imperial ipa. My son opted for the personal size Austin City Limits pie. Cheesy with chicken, onions and bbq sauce It was very good The host suggested the Fowl Play pizza, Alfredo sauce & cheese with vegetables and chicken. He sold me when he said it tasted like a chicken pot pie on a pizza. And it did. We were just passing through but this place was worthy of a solid review. Give it a try.

Special pizza of the day; olive oil, fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, balsamic drizzle

Loved the small town charm of this restaurant, great staff and atmosphere. Was in town for the round up for work and this place was recommended by a ton of people I met earlier in the day. I came in for a quick something and then a few pizzas to go for my staff still working. I settled on the Greek salad since it was pretty hot out and also ordered a handful of beverages. The house made hibiscus limeade was delicious. Perfect little lunch! Three small pizzas to go; the favorite being the special with heirloom tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic. Definitely check out their daily specials. While I personally prefer a super thin crust like in Italy these pizzas were filling and flavorful, hit the spot during round up!

This was a great pizza place. Actually great wine, tapas, pizza and beer. I'd call this a craftsman niche shop in the middle of a fairly basic meat-and-potatoes tow, so it was a welcome surprise. Especially when really what you wanted more than anything was good pizza because you'd just run a marathon. We enjoyed sitting outside on the dog friendly patio. We hadn't travelled with our dog, but we were able to flirt and make friends with an adorable lab puppy which we totally count as a bonus to the restaurant. We took our pizza back to our hotel room and found it to be equally good cold the next day as a quick lunch.

    Greek salad

We went here last year and sat outside and had nice sandwiches and a beer. This year we ate inside. We each ordered a personal pizza and one Greek salad and I had a glass of chardonnay. Everything was excellent and too much to eat. The salad was huge and the pizzas were twice what we needed. Nice ambiance and good service. We took home half the pizza. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table.

This is our go to place... The best beer and wine selection in town, a creative mixologist, and unusual, tasty pizzas and sandwiches.

The bar is long, with pictures of all the Pendleton Round-Up lining one wall. The place is a fascinating time capsule. Way in the back, beyond the bar and the pool table, a very small dining room with counter service and several humble booths are tucked away next to the kitchen. It's old, and proud of it. I've only eaten there twice; I once had a great breakfast there many years ago with my son. The portions were generous, the service was excellent, and as American style breakfasts go, it was about as good as they get. It's not "inspired food." It's the standard stuff, and there's something comforting about that. It's Americana at it's best. The second time was my birthday, and again, I was there with my son. It was evening. When we got there, we were the only ones occupying the cafe. It looked exactly as it had 20-plus years ago. My son ordered a hamburger and fries. Again, no trendy toppings or fuss, just very fresh, very well prepared hearty fare...exactly what we were looking for. I had their "famous" fried chicken. it was without hesitation, some of the best I'd ever tasted. It came with jo-jos, a salad, and garlic bread. It was all excellent, and almost too much food. If you enjoy old school dining in a small town cafe, it's going to be hard to beat the Rainbow Cafe and Bar.

I've always thought cannolis looked so delicious...But every time I buy them they are lackluster at best, the flavor just not on point. Not at Alexander's! Our freshly made cannoli was large and hubs and I throughly enjoyed every morsel. It was delicious and gorgeous, just as every cannoli should be. We also bought two cookies and one piece of decadent chocolate each. According to my MIL, some chocolates are meant to be revered, savored. I plan to savor mine, but not until I'm in the space to appreciate it. Alexander's is definitely one such chocolate. Buy yourself even one piece. And then savor it. Enjoy.
