I would normally give this location 4/5 stars. I want to say firstly that the people working here are super nice. This was my favorite location to go to. Me and my family come to this Starbucks multiple times a week, sometimes for family members and sometimes just to get something for me. Yesterday morning I ordered my normal frappe, I pretty much always get the same thing, a large vanilla bean frappe with extra ice and two shots of expresso. It's a large so it took me a little bit to get to the bottom of the cup, on my last slurp I felt something slightly hard, it turned out there was a small flying bug in my vanilla bean frappe all the way at the bottom so there would have been no way for me to know it was in there the whole time. I was super grossed out that not only had I been drinking it the whole time but that I had it in my mouth and on my tongue, after spitting it out and getting seriously sick, I can honestly say this was a first for me not only at Starbucks but this location and although it has never happened before, I will not be going to this location for a little while. My tummy definitely needs time to get over this experience. I did not call the store and complain to anyone. Mostly because I was so sincerely grossed out, I didn't want a new one made or any future credit for one, especially with my tummy still feeling the ick. Went through the drive thru and ordered two venti refreshers. The lady charged us $5.65 each instead of $4.95 as listed on the menu in the picture. I'm a firm believer that all Starbucks are pretty much the same. A Starbucks at it's purest is a four star place. If it does something wrong, three or less. But if it does something awesome, it can be a five star place. And what this place did awesome was hire the people it did. The people at the front counter of this Starbucks were always out-of-their-way friendly with me and attempted to strike up a conversation with me every time I was there. They gave me recommendations when I didn't know what I wanted. And they gave me a ham and swiss croissant while I was studying there one night because a drive through customer had changes their mind at the last minute. There is plenty of seating there and a nice outside area that overlooks the highway. I like this place. If you need a place to frequent or study at, come here. read more

This Starbucks is so good why?! Because of the customer service. The workers here are thoughtful and do their best. This morning, my hubby and I went through the drive thru to order our drinks, white chocolate mocha and cold brew. After I tasted mine, I realized something was off. I went inside to let them know. They were apologetic, made me another drink, and gave a generous discount card for my next drink. Thank you for the nice gentleman that works here! This Starbucks is in a convenient location. I like it because it is a stand-alone store, not part of Target or some other business; therefore I can redeem special offers or awards on my Starbucks card. It is not as large as some locations, but that makes it a bit more intimate. The staff is friendly & helpful. Rarely is there a waiting line. Always friendly, always prompt. I've spent many weekends here studying as it never gets too noisy and there are 6 to 7 tables and 4 big chairs inside. It gets packed by late afternoon, so I try to get there just after 12 if I'm planning to sit down and study. Lots of students and professionals on laptops here. I haven't been to a Starbucks for a while, but this used to be my go-to for breakfast. This morning I sat in line for probably 10-15 minutes with 4 cars in front of me. I myself was sitting at the window for over 5 minutes waiting for a brownie and egg bites. When I received my egg bites, they were thrown in the bottom of a bag and not the right flavor...I'm actually allergic to one of the ingredients in the flavor I received so I couldn't eat them at all. It was too far of a drive to go back, so that was $5 wasted. Coming from retail management I didn't want to be one of those people who only write a review once they've had a negative experience, so that's why I rated them as 4 stars. Not sure they understand the concept of inventory. EVERYTIME I come here they are out of multiple things. You would think after CONSTANTLY running out of the same products they might realize they can just order more when they put orders in for the store. This is my favorite starbucks in Pensacola and the closest to my home! I usually only go thru the drive thru, but I've gone in on many occasions to just chill or whateva. The staff are very friendly and fast at this location. I finally decided to make a review because twice I've gone thru the drive thru and there's been a very long wait due to a rush of people flooding in, which I really don't mind because I'm never in a real rush. The staff are always very apologetic and kind about the long wait. Inside is always clean, usually pretty full at this location depending on the time of day, but it definitely beats 9th Ave's tiny, impossible parking lot, lol. read more

I am a frequent Starbucks customer and never have I ever seen one of their employees look so ridiculous. This employee who's name begins with a K, is making drinks with his ridiculous bush of free flowing hair. Let's not mention that others have their hair pulled back to avoid falling in my coffee. Ahhh, Starbucks. Home of the Frappucino, my ultimate addiction. This Starbucks has quick service, and it seems to be less crowded than the Starbucks on West Nine Mile Rd., but it still gets crowded. So I would suggest you get your coffee to-go. read more

i came through and ordered 2 very basic iced drinks and when i came to the window a girl with purple hair has gotten my order wrong and when i proceeded to tell her my correct order, she gave me horrible attitude and slammed the sliding window shut as i heard her continue to talk about what just happened. probably won't be going to this location again and being talked to the way i did but someone who doesn't know proper customer service. read more

Barristers are great. However, whoever orders the food needs to go back to school! All Labor Day Weekend there was no cream cheese. Then, if you go after 1200 noon, almost ANY day, you will not find breakfast foods. Either they should say a time when they won't sell scones and bagels and such, or stock up on enough to serve all day! This is the worst Starbucks in the area for supplies or running out of things to be more precise. I have never had this problem at the one by the Mall or the one on Bayou!
