I ordered an iced latte and a scone. The latte was excellent. It stayed rich and flavorful from the first sip to the last without becoming watered down by the ice, which says a lot about the quality of the coffee. But the real surprise was the scone. It was, without question, the best scone I've ever had. Moist, buttery, perfectly warmed, and absolutely delicious. I'll gladly come back just for that. Even though the café was packed, the staff never seemed rushed. Everyone I interacted with was kind, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making people feel at home. They even took the time to strike up a conversation while the shop was busy. It didn't feel like customer service--it felt like hospitality. What stood out most wasn't just the coffee or the food. It was the culture. Whether it's because of their connection to the church or simply the people they've brought together, there's a spirit of kindness and community here that's hard to manufacture.
