the best place to work and best place for your drinks . all the staff is amazing and we love them all!

The outside of the building

Great coffee and I love their bread puddings! Best coffee I have had in Pensacola the 2 weeks I have been here. Definitely worth a try! Staff has been excellent everyday I have been there. The place looks nice and has a relaxed feel about it. Wish I had more time to enjoy my coffee there but had take out every time.

Toffee Mocha Poetchino

6/28/21 - Went through the drive-thru to get the toffee mocha poetchino. It was as delicious as always. The barista, however seemed like he was ready to go home. Drove up and he gave a very sad hello. May have been a bad day for him, but was not expecting that since every time I come to visit the baristas were always very happy and enthusiastic.

First time trying this location out and it is as good as the main location! Love my favorite drink the toffee mocha poetchino! It's a quick stop especially if you are about to get onto the interstate. Very convenient and easy to drive into and out of.

Yes finally!

Had the toffee mocha petochino. Very subtle flavor of toffee and hardly any mocha flavor. Not a recommend.

I recently discovered I'm not a huge plain Latte fan, so I opted on a themed drink called the Poe, espresso, dark chocolate, and raspberry drizzle.

Highly recommend them; coffee is expensive to begin with no one wants to pay for bad coffee. I go to the one at 6700 North Davis Hwy. My baby peanut is also a fan of their pup cup. And they are pet-friendly; no one wants to leave their beloved pet in the car in this heat. I live an hour away, and every time I go to Pensacola, which is a lot, this is my first stop

Alex on the other hand is the reason for this review. We ordered one coffee black and the other with cream on the side. When I opened the cup and saw how much room was left in the cup I assumed that was the one with the room for cream. When my partner opened her cup there was cream in hers so she went back up to see if she could get a black one like she ordered. He was very rude saying he didn't take the order and was just trying to see what the problem was and I'll remake it angrily. When my partner thanked him as he handed her the new cup he gave her a dirty look and just turned around and walked away. Maybe he's having a bad morning but it wasn't a good first impression sadly because the place is so cute and we really liked the selection.

Before this trip, I asked a local one simple question: "Where should I get coffee in Pensacola?"…read moreWithout hesitation, they answered, Echo Coffee. I walked in knowing absolutely nothing about it, and by the time I left, I completely understood why it's a local favorite. Echo Coffee is connected to Echo Church, and while it's very much a coffee shop, there's something different about the atmosphere that sets it apart. From the moment you walk through the doors, the entire space feels warm, peaceful, and genuinely inviting. The décor is beautifully done--comfortable without trying too hard, modern yet cozy. The best way I can describe it is that it almost feels like the world changes from normal daylight to the warm glow of an amber sunset. It's a place that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. I ordered an iced latte and a scone. The latte was excellent. It stayed rich and flavorful from the first sip to the last without becoming watered down by the ice, which says a lot about the quality of the coffee. But the real surprise was the scone. It was, without question, the best scone I've ever had. Moist, buttery, perfectly warmed, and absolutely delicious. I'll gladly come back just for that. Even though the café was packed, the staff never seemed rushed. Everyone I interacted with was kind, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making people feel at home. They even took the time to strike up a conversation while the shop was busy. It didn't feel like customer service--it felt like hospitality. What stood out most wasn't just the coffee or the food. It was the culture. Whether it's because of their connection to the church or simply the people they've brought together, there's a spirit of kindness and community here that's hard to manufacture. You can feel that this place exists for something bigger than simply selling coffee, and it naturally overflows into every interaction. Echo Coffee isn't just another coffee stop--it's a place people gather. It's easy to see why the locals recommended it immediately, and it's easy to see why it has such a loyal following. This is now a mandatory stop every time I'm in Pensacola. If you're passing through, do yourself a favor and make the stop. You won't just leave with great coffee--you'll leave understanding why this little gem has become such an important part of the community.

Paid $6 for a 12oz cold brew and couldn't taste the flavored syrup over the sourness of the cold brew. Sad :( It's a trendy spot with the cute round cups, but the coffee is average at best.

It was also nice seeing them interact with their regulars--it definitely feels like a neighborhood coffee shop with a loyal following. I ordered the Poe Iced along with a slice of the carrot coffee cake. The coffee cake was outstanding--rich, moist, with fantastic icing, and tasted like a quality homemade dessert. The Poe Iced was good, but it wasn't quite as complex or memorable as I expected from a coffee house with such a strong reputation. In hindsight, I probably should have tried one of their seasonal specialties instead of sticking with a classic drink. My only real complaint is the drive-thru, which was a bit awkward to get into, so I ended up parking and walking inside. Thankfully, the welcoming atmosphere more than made up for that inconvenience. Will I be back? Absolutely. One thing I've learned about independent coffee shops is that they're always worth a second visit. Sometimes it takes trying a different drink to really appreciate what makes them special. While Drowsy Poet didn't quite blow me away on my first visit like a few other coffee houses have, it's still a very good café and easily a step above the typical chain options like Starbucks, Dutch Bros, or 7 Brew.

Definitely new since I left home. I was interested. Ambiance was wonderful. A good amount of seating with each sitting spot feelings mildly secluded, which is nice. No one wants their coffee shop gossip being overheard. And when you walk in, you're first greeted with that classic glass case of available pastries and goodies. It was hard to not just order one of each item. Service was nice. It was counter service, and they bring your order right to your table. Can't ask for better service than that. Nice folks, good small talk. And the food, it was delightful. We got a couple of fancy coffee drinks, which were well-flavored, not too sweet, and the iced one was presented in a mason jar. Classic. We also shared like four food items. The pull-apart monkey bread was sweet and dense and delicious. Don't order this if you're alone. You'll need help to finish it. Got a creme filled pull pastry thing. That was nice. Flakes for days. This was no rough puff. For the chocolate croissant, also known as a pain au chocolat. Again, very flakey, very buttery, the perfect touch of sweet chocolate. And a savory, massive scone. Bacon and chives, I think. Also very good. Crumbly. Overall, I was very surprised. There certainly wasn't anywhere like this in Pensacola when I lived here. This place is a quality bakery that could easily be found in a medium-sized city. I was so pleased and will definitely come back.

I didn't have enough stomach space to try everything I wanted. Lol. Tips: The chocolate croissant and the creme filled thing we got were delicious. The scone was also good, but maybe less good than other things we left on the table. Need to come back here!

Brilliant concept for the Java lovers and liquor imbibers alike…read more The interior is luxe by Pensacola standards. Large overstuffed pin cushion leather sofas. Coffered ceilings. Exposed, real old brick that's from god knows when. Lots of copper old fashion coffee roasters. Bespoke bar. I dig the vibe and haven't even tried the patio yet. The Irish latte was delish. The whipped baileys cream on top delightful. My husband had the French 75 which was mildly citrus in such a pleasant way. Zero burn or bitterness for a straight black coffee beverage which impressed me! We had an omelette and the blueberry muffin. Omelette was tasty, fresh, hot and had ample cheese and ham. I liked the Dijon topped on. The muffin was really extra. It was large and it was covered in coffee cake sugar kind of crumble. Really big, generous serving of blueberries. It was super moist. Hate to add to the hype of this place because I admit, theres already a line out the door, but I only just recently discovered it after being here nearly a year.
