I have been visiting my mom and this Starbucks is the nearest by. I went yesterday for a coffee in the drive thru and i was sitting at the window for almost 10 minutes waiting for them to make one drink. When they finally made it, i tried it and it did not taste how it usually does at all. Today I wanted Starbucks again and tried giving this spot another chance and i ordered a different coffee (another one I usually always order) and what do you know, it tasted completely different from usual. Also i got a cheese danish and when I opened it, it looked like they threw it across the room. I am a loyal Starbucks customer but this location specifically needs to work on consistency if that's what they want their brand to be. But tonight my heart sank to my toes. I'm a new single mom, and have a 5 month old at home. It's safe to say I frequent this Starbucks.. like 14x a week sometimes. I was FREAKING out tonight. My 5 month old is going extra fussy, teething, colic, over-tire, cranky mommy- she owner have it easy rn. Tonight I realized her FAVORITE teddy bear was MIA! I immediately panicked and retraced my steps- couldn't find him anywhere. Finally, I remembered- 'Oh, I stopped at Starbucks.. maybe?' I looke at the clock & it's 9:29 ... Sh*t, they're closed, especially with COVID being so prevalent. I figured I'd check the parking lot anyway and decided to try to call Just in case. By the second ring, Conor answered and in straight desperation, I asked him about a lone teddy bear- and he said he was awaiting my arrival. Ordered a venti shaken espresso. Got my coffee and it was literally a cup of milk. No espresso to be found. If I wanted to pay $6 for milk I would have went to the grocery store and got a whole gallon. Went inside and said it was wrong. They "remade" my drink without espresso again and made it with regular coffee thinking I wouldn't notice the difference. I get this drink every day. This tasted nothing like a shaken espresso and just like an iced coffee. Being a barista must be hard I understand, as no job is easy, especially customer service, but management should really know if their baristas can actually make drinks. With this being my home store, I feel like at times, it could be better. Other times, I feel like it's awesome! Depending on the shift you visit, there are some great and talented Baristas at this location that you will get to meet. With the two other Starbucks' locations opening up, this place will definitely be better! The lines are long and they make mistakes, but, they will gladly fix their mistakes and are better next time. The store manager is a cool, older guy who is always helping out. At least every time I come in. He is always doing something.
