The food is already priced above to make a profit. It puts the customer in a compromising situation especially if they didn't want to tip above 15%. This place is amazing. If there is a negative review, there is some other agenda. We came in for Father's Day. We used the yelp wait list option which was the smartest thing! We didn't have to wait. For being probably the busiest they get, the food and the service was great! The blueberry fritters (3) were amazing and just enough. Just a heads up you can use yelp to add your name to the waitlist. Some feedback I would give is that when you add cheddar cheese to your grits they only put a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. We selected the blueberry and banana Foster French toast and the OMG corn beef hash with the slow roasted brisket. Both were good in my opinion. They have a large variety of breakfast foods, a big kids menu, and are home to the megamosa (a 22oz mimosa with different flavors)! The service here is great and they also include 18% tip in all their checks. Additional tip can be added if the service exceeds your expectations which it did. Our waitress Elaine was super attentive and helpful when it came time for me to pick my meal. I was torn between birria breakfast tacos and the OMG corned beef hash. She definitely lead me in the right direction, the corned beef hash is house made and sooo good. For a drink I had the beet mimosa which was a beautiful pink color and even though it was different, I loved it. Something to try for sure! We recently brought our family over to Berry Fresh for a friend's get together and I can say the food wasn't bad but First Watch still takes the win for me. The place was packed inside which is great for business but we were able to check in online and didn't have to wait a lot. It tells you what your place is in line and how many parties in front of you, all you need to do is check in with the host. I had the shrimp and grits and they tasted good. My wife had the salmon Benedict and she was not impressed. It did not taste good. Their biscuits were also good. We ended up sitting on the patio which had a bigger table to keep all the kids together and thankfully they had plenty of fans to help with this crazy heat. Would we go back here again? How about just increase your prices, and pay your staff a fair wage and not over charge customers? Just because everyone else is doing it... doesn't mean it's right. Went into berry fresh for a lunch/breakfast. The food was fantastic! We had the brisket grilled cheese and chicken and waffles. I also tried the Bloody Mary flight. I love bloody Mary's but they were just ok overall. The coffee was also good. We were seated quickly. It was definitely busy but we still were waited on quickly. You can tell that the place is very good when there's a long line of people standing outside waiting for a table. The employees that work there were all fantastic, very helpful and provided wonderful suggestions. The only downside due to its popularity we opted for sitting outside. Great place to have breakfast. Reasonable priced in my opinion. My wife had stuffed French toast with some fruit added on some bacon to get her protein on and I had the pancake breakfast comes with choice of bacon and I chose sausage plus coffee. Both was way more than we could eat but we did over eat since it was good tasting food. Server was helpful and kind. He pointed out that an 18% tip is automatically applied and you are able to add on from there or remove if you so desire over all would go again. First Watch, move over! This place was great, if we had one here in Broward, we'd be all over it very often. I had the bacon, avocado, and cheese omelet and it was tasty. The biscuit is also made to perfection, and when you add the apple butter and jam, it's to die for. My mom had the captain crunch French toast and I had a piece to try, and I ended up getting 2 more pieces, it was delicious. The employees were very nice and the servers really deserved the mandatory 18% tip, she was very nice and patient with us as a party of 10.
