Gotta try this place out again with the family. I stopped in for a quick takeaway lunch after searching for something fresh and healthy to grab on the way home. When I pulled into the plaza, the parking lot was full. Upon entering the first thing I noticed was how crowded it was. They had a tablet on a stand outside to add your name to the waitlist. The place was wall to wall full. I walked to the takeout counter and ordered the Hippie Vegan Sandwich with a side of fresh fruit. 5 minutes later, and I was back in my car digging in. So this sandwich has cucumber, avocado, artichoke, sundried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, red onion, lettuce and vegan cheese. It's also drizzled with a citrus dressing. I thought it was tasty but expensive for what it was with the bulk of the inside being lettuce. Not complaining though...I like lettuce but $14 is a bit much still. Flavor was fine, freshness was good, but I'd like to come back and dine in with my family and enjoy other items for sure. I think this place might be a nice spot for breakfast. I hike I am not a great breakfast fan, this is a nice spot. Large portions and varied menus with plenty of fruit options. The sausage gravy and biscuit are good, but there is no sausage in the gravy. It's always busy, but you can start the waiting list before you get there. And once you are seated the service is fast regardless if you have 2 or 8 people in your party. Just a heads up you can use yelp to add your name to the waitlist. Some feedback I would give is that when you add cheddar cheese to your grits they only put a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. We selected the blueberry and banana Foster French toast and the OMG corn beef hash with the slow roasted brisket. Both were good in my opinion. They have a large variety of breakfast foods, a big kids menu, and are home to the megamosa (a 22oz mimosa with different flavors)! The service here is great and they also include 18% tip in all their checks. Additional tip can be added if the service exceeds your expectations which it did. Our waitress Elaine was super attentive and helpful when it came time for me to pick my meal. I was torn between birria breakfast tacos and the OMG corned beef hash. She definitely lead me in the right direction, the corned beef hash is house made and sooo good. We recently brought our family over to Berry Fresh for a friend's get together and I can say the food wasn't bad but First Watch still takes the win for me. The place was packed inside which is great for business but we were able to check in online and didn't have to wait a lot. It tells you what your place is in line and how many parties in front of you, all you need to do is check in with the host. I had the shrimp and grits and they tasted good. My wife had the salmon Benedict and she was not impressed. It did not taste good. Their biscuits were also good. We ended up sitting on the patio which had a bigger table to keep all the kids together and thankfully they had plenty of fans to help with this crazy heat. Would we go back here again? Maybe not for a long time but it seems to be a favorite among many other people. read more

Went into berry fresh for a lunch/breakfast. The food was fantastic! We had the brisket grilled cheese and chicken and waffles. I also tried the Bloody Mary flight. I love bloody Mary's but they were just ok overall. The coffee was also good. We were seated quickly. It was definitely busy but we still were waited on quickly. Food portions are usually very large, after going here for years, I've noticed they have got slightly smaller and now they add a surcharge to your meal for gratuity. How about just increase your prices, and pay your staff a fair wage and not over charge customers? Just because everyone else is doing it... doesn't mean it's right. People will say... then don't go out to eat, well that's not the answer. More people that go out to eat will stop than those that can afford it. The food is always very good. For years now, they are consistently great. And the staff are super nice!! It is worth it for a treat on a Sunday morning. But get ready for the wait times!! My wife had stuffed French toast with some fruit added on some bacon to get her protein on and I had the pancake breakfast comes with choice of bacon and I chose sausage plus coffee.
