I wouldn't say they're "As good as it gets", since I've had MUCH better coffee, but Starbucks' quality is pretty reliable. The really only thing you need to keep on your toes for is the accuracy of your order. Every once in a while everyone makes a mistake and goofs up (which is understandable). That was really, the only issue I had with this place was that once on one order I ordered and paid for a Venti and a Tall was prepared and set out on the completed order platform (whatever they call it... landing pad?). And when they set it out they didn't call my name, but instead called "Tall [beverage type]". So I sat there for about 15-20 minutes waiting for what I ordered to be called out, OR for my name to be called out, but neither were. Finally, I asked the cashier if the beverage was mine and he said yes, and showing my receipt I pointed out their mistake (wrong size). They did fix the error immediately, but there's obviously nothing they could do to fix the time wasted waiting. They COULD have avoided the whole issue though, had they actually followed their own protocol and called out my name (which they requested upon ordering) instead of calling out the beverage PREPARED.... For this, they lost a star with me. Reliable quality doesn't make up for unreliable service. :-/ I DO like the place... I just hope their management reigns in on the inconsistencies in service that seem to cause these type of issues. I may give them another chance, but I'm not sure how soon. And if they screw up again there's definitely not a shortage of alternative coffee shops to frequent instead. :-\ (Even in the same plaza there's TWO alternatives... one being an in-store STARBUCKS! ;-p ) Anyways, perhaps they'll have their process issues smoothed out by the time they also finish their remodeling. Served the drive through while ignoring customers waiting in the store. Was just here, and ordered a latte at 2:17. The store was not busy inside but the drive through is busy. 5 people working there but only 1 guy frantically making drinks while others chatted, tidied up, etc. At 2:27 I asked about the status of my drink and it seemed it had been forgotten. They said they would make it right away. At 2:34 I asked to speak to the manager, Chase, and requested a refund. I got a refund but had to say "you could at least apologize!" I waited 17 minutes and didn't even get my drink in the end. You'd think after that long they would have refunded it and made it anyway. Not up to the company standard at all. read more

This is one of the busier SBux but the drive thru is set up well. One thing I've lived about this one is the fact that I've had my drinks comp'ed when the wait has been unexpectedly long ... without complaining or needing to ask for that. While this is a great location, and the drive through is usually very quick, if you are wanting good coffee or service just drive on by to the next Starbucks down the road in either direction. Not my first time having issues at this location, but will be 100% my last time at this store. Went through the drive in around 730am Sunday morning. Only one car in front of me and seemed a little quiet on the inside. We ordered a tall flat white and a tall skinny iced mocha. Got the window, paid, got the flat white when the girl in the drive in told me the mocha looked "odd" and might be "old". HUH? She asked if I wanted to wait for a few minutes or order something else. At this point I was suspect of anything referred to as odd or old, so I ordered a non-fat flat white. We got our drink, drove away, and I took my first sip only to spit it back into the cup. It tasted bitter and burnt. My friend took a sip and agreed it was horrible. We ended up driving to the Starbucks down the road on 170th. My friend told them what happened and they were baffled. They made me original drink order and offered us free sandwich or pastry to make up for the trouble. I declined, as all I wanted was my coffee but it was nice of them to offer. Starbucks.. I realize by sheer volume you dominate the coffee market around here, but there are other options. Drive thru service was severely lacking. I ordered, pulled up to the window and waited to pay. My drink was prepared pretty quickly and was just sitting on the counter. I hate writing a review for Starbucks but I feel like I am just compelled to after many instances such as this... I usually frequent the drive-thru and it is fast and convenient. However, whenever I go inside the location I am standing around waiting forever. I appreciate the speedy and fast drive-thru service, but the customers waiting for drinks inside should matter as well...One time I waited in a group of people for about 20 minutes for an iced americano, my drink wasn't even complicated. I will wait for long lengths of time with or without a crowd inside the store. I know baristas each are given "tasks" but when several employees are restocking, cleaning and doing other things while only 1-2 people are making the drinks and I am standing there for 15 minutes for 1 iced coffee without a huge crowd, it's a bit frustrating. Especially when I see they are speedily making drinks for mobile orders and the drive-thru. read more

I just went and ordered an Americano. When the barista gave me the coffee I left because the was a long line of cars. As soon as I drank it was warm!!!! Isn't it suppose to be hot???? This Starbucks is amazing. A couple of weeks ago I had came into the Starbucks and ordered a drink and then unfortunately my mocha drink tasted more like water than the actual drink itself. So today I came in and told them that I had spoke with the manager because I did and you told me to come back the manager at this store was super amazing and super nice and made my order correctly with no hassle. I've been coming here for a little over 4 years now, a couple times a week or even a couple times a day. They are generally consistent and pretty good. But today, whoever made my peppermint latte at 6:26 am... A round of applause to you! That was the best peppermint latte I think I've ever had, very creamy and just enough peppermint to taste it but not overwhelming. Not sure what you did different from normal, but keep doing it! This is probably the most incompetent Starbucks I have ever been to. The older lady who is usually up at the front register doesn't even listen to your order... I don't think of myself as a coffee snob but she misses even the littlest modifications. (ie if I order an unsweetened iced tea it will definitely be coming with the sweetener). The bar seems constantly low on supplies: straws, etc. which is important because even with iced drinks I'm never handed a straw by the barista. The space never seems very clean to me. Baristas are not overly friendly at all. I have yet to be on there and have one of the girls ask anything about my day or even say hello hardly. Reason for a couple stars: nice outdoor seating area, ample parking. I think I'll find a nice local place to visit in the mornings before work. read more

I was staying in Redmond for a few days for a class, so I visited this store several times, because it was the closest one. I kept noticing (as I used my navigation) it only had 3 stars on Yelp, and I wondered why that was. Well, let me tell you. There is a serious problem at this store. I have worked for Starbucks and I know what they are supposed to be doing behind the counter. The first time I ordered 1/2 lb of ground coffee beans. The barista didn't know how to ring up coffee beans. He told me he had been at the store for a YEAR and had never done it. Okay, I get it, you sell mostly drinks -- but how do you not know how to ring up beans after a year??? Next visit, the guy in the drive through seemed to have REAL trouble taking my order. I told him exactly what I wanted, and in the "Starbucks approved" manner of saying the drink, but he kept mis-hearing me, thinking I wanted something other than stevia, or that I wanted my drink extra hot. Third visit, and it'll be my last. I pulled up at 5:45 and the drive thru was empty. Yay. Dude takes my order and I pull up to the open window (not supposed to be open, by the way - that's just asking for a holdup). For a solid 5 minutes I am not greeted or acknowledged in any way. Neither employee inside meets my eyes or even says hi (probably because I'm staring at them in astonishment waiting to be noticed.) Dude is puttering around slowly, showing a complete lack of hustle, making an iced drink. I'm thinking, "My drink is hot, and there's another gal taking care of the inside. Who's drink is he making??!??!" I see him let the shots sit for over 30 seconds in an iced cup. You're not supposed to draw the shots directly into an iced cup; the milk is supposed to be in the cup beforehand. And, if shots sit for longer than 10 seconds they are supposed to be discarded. They go bad. He comes back, finishes making the wrongly-made iced drink, and sets it aside. Then he proceeds to start making my drink. HE WAS MAKING THE DRINK FOR THE CAR BEHIND ME FIRST. You are not supposed to do that! Also, I know how drive thru is supposed to work, and ideally, one person is at the window and another person is making the drinks. I know there are times this isn't possible, but he could have easily asked his coworker, who seemed to be doing nothing, to make drinks for him. Or, to take my payment while he was making drinks. But she did neither. Finally he comes to the window and says "do you want a stopper?" No hello, no how's your morning, no "sorry for that wait," nothing at all. I pull away and see a huge line has formed in the drive thru in the meantime. No wonder. DUDE TOOK 5 MINUTES TO MAKE MY SIMPLE DRINK, which should have taken 90 seconds tops. This store has an odd culture of slowness and inaccuracy that Starbucks doesn't usually have. Go the the Starbucks inside the QFC that's right there instead. read more

Never again!! I work by here so I've come one to two times a day for a while. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. Always at least 15 minutes in the drive thru. I'm not joking I've timed it. Going inside it's worse. 15 -20 minute wait for a drink. I've been to WAY busier locations and never had to wait more than 7 minutes. I've watched them stop and chat with each other when there are 5 people starring at them for their drink. I've had to argue with other customers because they've given up waiting and just go after any drink that sounds good. So, tired of waiting I've decided to try the order ahead app. First time worked great, I walked in my order was ready. The second time they got it wrong. Even though it said venti latte macchiatio there was flavoring in it and she wanted me to wait while they fixed it. Nope!!!! Today they gave me a tall instead of a venti. Never in my life have I ordered a tall. Do you want to wait while I fix it??? No!! I want you to get it right for once, on time and without having to waste my entire lunch in line. Never again!I will go to QFC or in Bella Botaga. Ps its a bad sign for any business to have that high of a turnover in employees. read more

First time I have given Starbucks 5 stars because truly Starbucks & I have a love/hate relationship somewhat symbiotic. Anywho came here to kill some time usually hi & bye - but I placed an order using the mobile pay and go . I noticed they didn't have options to customize too much like how much room or temp for steamed milk and how much. So I asked Synova who is the real reason for this 5 star review . Wish I could rate this location better. I usually love Starbucks, but this location has some issues. Can't count the number of times I ordered a mocha (my go-to drink) and had them forget the espresso. If I wanted hot chocolate, I'd have asked for it. Only reason I kept returning was that it was super convenient, but I've since moved and won't be returning to this location. the drive thru line is always super slow, does not matter how many cars are ahead of you. there could be one or two people ahead of you and it still takes way too long. the last two times i went through the drive through (which i do on my way to work) i ordered what i had successfully ordered many times this past summer a venti black iced tea with half the sweeter. after driving away and being 1/2 way to work, i take a sip and notice it is 1/2 tea and 1/2 lemonade (even though the label states how i ordered it). i would never order a tea with lemonade in it as it gives me really bad heartburn. super slow service and they seem have some difficulty getting even simple orders right. read more
