I'm gluten intolerant so I try to avoid oat milk. Maybe this review is ridiculous but when I asked for regular milk, the guy said "and what does that mean to you" with a face like . We had just finished a wonderful sushi lunch across the parking lot from Peet's when she declared that while her lunch tummy was full her dessert tummy was growling. I've been to Peet's before but haven't gone in a few months. Employees there always seemed very welcoming with or without a service dog. Today I came in with service dog in hand and was asked to leave as they would not let dogs come in. When I walked outside I didn't see any clear posting that pets or services animals aren't allowed. Also on google maps and yelp it says they welcome pets... definitely didn't feel welcomed. Finding another local spot. read more

YUM, I haven't visited a Peet's location before but this was an amazing experience. The service was prompt, store was clean and my drink was delicious (and beautiful too)! I got a medium Black Tie, one of their signature drinks which includes cold brew, sweetened condensed milk and topped with half and half. A stunner! read more

Hip hip hooray! I didn't even know there was a legit Peet's in the Seattle area until a few days ago when I came back from a Cali trip. I'm so excited! When I lived in Cali I used to go to Peet's all the time. This coffee is 10000 times better than Starbucks! No hype. Today I had lovely service and was even told to download the app which I did. Love that they have those perks. I usually get a latte or flavored cold brew of sort. My recent obsession is the Horchata Oat milk Cold Brew. Yum! read more

I'm happy that there is a Peet's here in town. My go to back home and my go to now that my family and I moved out here. Great service when ordering in person but not so great when ordering online. This would be the 2nd time this has happened and both times I was in a rush and not able to wait to have my drink remade. I ordered my drink with no whip cream - Drink was still good AFTER I scooped the whipped cream out. If they really admired wanted to build customer retention they would have went to the store or closest bakery shop to purchase a cinnamon roll. I have been going her for a double 12pz later at least once a week. Before the holiday I bought one of their 16oz coffee mugs . It was kind of a white color. I thought it was cool. But once I gave it to my wife , she didn't end up using it. When I asked why ? She said she uses lip stick and the color will show the lipstick marks. This is where the niceties of Peet's stoped. When I tried to exchange it , the first thing the guy asked for a receipt. I said I looked but I cannot find it. He said sorry we cannot exchange or return things without it. The point of requiring a receipt is to make sure the product was brought from the store. With it having the peets logo on it that clearly not the issue. He then said let me try and went back. 5 minutes later came back and said he could not due it. But we had a bigger issue , they were out of the orange colors. He told me to come back on Thursday as we would have new shipments. When I came back on Thursday and explained my story to the lady at the counter. But once I told here I had no receipt she got all smug. In a raised voice and a smile on a face she said sorry , we need a receipt. Like she gets a bonus when she can deny a return. She said she cannot do anything without a receipt. I spent already more time on trying to return this mug then I make an hour. I just donated the mug to a group of people in the store. If you know it's our product and it has never been used , requiring a receipt is a tactic to reduce returns , at the expense of the customers. It just doesn't make sense , they have a total of 10 mugs . Their clearly make most of their money on the coffee , not mugs. Loosing a regular customer of a mug is just bad buiness practice. Well they lost me and maybe a few others reading this review. read more

I always enjoy coming to this Peet's Coffee. I like it because this location is usually not too busy and they take their time making your orders and make sure they taste right. They usually make a beautiful leaf or a heart on your hot coffee drinks, which is pretty sweet. Starbucks sure don't do this often. I like the Havana Latte in Peet's. It is made with condensed milk but no other syrups. I actually prefer this combination. It has just enough sweetness and I think the drink taste smother too. Besides coffee Peet's also often many tea drinks from the Mighty Tea brand. My favorite black tea is Pride of the Port. I just love the flavor and it has become a comfort drink for me. I like their tea much more than Starbucks' tea blends. Peet's does not have enough stores in the Seattle area. They should really expand their market share here! read more

This is the only Peet's on the Eastside and just one of two locations in the Seattle area (other location in Green Lake). Wonder why Peet's has not expanded in the area. Does no big chain want to take on Starbucks? The location in Redmond is in the same complex on Redmond Way as a Whole Foods Market and across the way from a Chipotle. There is plentiful parking. I haven't had any problem ever finding a space here. This Peet's is not as big as the one in Fremont which has the added benefit of having a second floor full of seating. Though it seems to be about the same size as the one in Green Lake. This is to say there is not a whole lot of seating here. Maybe 7 or 8 tables inside the store. Though for the warmer months, this location does have some outside seating which would be of use. I noticed on the Yelp business listing that they have a Yelp check-in offer for $1 off a specific drink. This special changes every few weeks I have noticed recently. Recently, I got a matcha green tea latte here and a raspberry scone on my recent visit. As expected, the matcha green tea latte was quite nice on a cold and foggy morning. I like the Starbucks version a tad better, but the one here is not too shabby. Peet's drinks seem to be a bit better overall though. The raspberry scone was predictably delicious and moist. Peet's offers wi-fi, though you will need to ask the staff to print out the code to access it. It supposedly lasts one hour and is good for one device. You can't use the same code on your phone and laptop. Just one of them. While there could be more seating and I wish the free wi-fi didn't require a printed password to use, I like Peet's because the coffee and tea drinks are great. A good alternative to the ubiquitous Starbucks chain all over the Eastside. I hope they open a Peet's in Bellevue in the future. read more

Corporate greed exposed! I tried to order an 8 oz drink as seen on the menu behind the register. The employee stated they had no 8 ounce cups and that I would have to pay for a 12 oz cup and they would put 8 oz of coffee in it. I expressed politely that paying for something more than what I'm buying doesn't make sense, obviously. Is it even legal in WA state? The employee seemed to lack empathy, personality, or even a bit of humor that would make this standoff at least a little palatable. Nope, my drone at the register simply recited from script that they had no button to ring up an 8 oz cup because it was grayed out. I clearly wasn't the first. Perhaps this is standard business practice to get more revenue through the store. I understand this inane and corrupt policy is the fault of the store location manager or the corporate owners who set the policies that force over-charging of innocent customers. There's just no excuse for such a policy though. It can't be explained. It's pure greed. So we decided to leave Peet's and hop down the street one mile to Victor's coffee shop on Gilman St. There we found three very sweet employees who loved hearing the story of our experience at Pete's coffee. These very happy, human, funny and friendly Victor's employees told us that at Victor's we can have our coffee in any shape, size or color we want. They even gave an extra cup for the hot one, at no charge to boot. I decided to order a 12 ounce coffee in the end. :-) Just say no to corporate greed, just say no to Peet's coffee. There's no excuse for Peet's charging a customer for a larger drink in this case. Peet, your cup shortage is your burden, not mine. See ya! read more

I've spent quite a bit of time playing with my iPad and drinking delicious raspberry mochas at this Peet's. You have to ask for a code to access their wi-fi, and it supposedly only lasts for one or two hours, but I've had it last for longer... and, if it isn't super busy, I'm sure they'll be fine with giving you another code even if you don't buy anything more. They also have some good food items. One time I was hungry and didn't feel like going to Whole Foods across the parking lot, so I got some kind of tomatoey bready item. I enjoyed it! Those raspberry mochas, though.... Yum. I like the mugs they have available, too. I need to get better about asking for a mug instead of letting them default to a to-go cup when I know I have time to drink my beverage at the location. read more

I know that there is a wide choice of places to get your caffeine fix around the Seattle area. It seems like a coffee place on every corner and what makes a coffee place different is important. Some of the coffee combinations here have a twist. Not a crazy twist with combinations that sound like Disney dreamed it up or that some wild night scrabble party named a coffee drink. These are mild variations done very well on existing drinks. I myself prefer smaller coffee shops and see them as the underdog in the coffee arena. It is a good place to wait our the rain storm, get some work done or just sit and chat with a friend. They sell fresh coffee under their own brand name and are very knowledgeable on the product for sale. They only shortcoming that I can see is that they do not have a signature drink that they are known or a standout item that makes them unique all to themselves. read more

I always look forward to a drink from Peet's....not just for the coffee, but because of the cozy atmosphere and wonderful customer service! My go-to drink at any coffee shop is usually an iced vanilla or caramel latte, or a caramel macchiato. Sometimes I'm hesitant to order caramel drinks because they end up being too sugary, but that's not the case with Peet's. My caramel macchiato was made perfectly and the sweetness did not overpower the coffee flavor. The caramel was stirred in well and apparent throughout. Compared to Starbucks, the coffee is bit stronger, nuttier and the drinks are created with more care - Peet's never disappoints! read more

The staff is always friendly and peppy, my beverage is always consistently fabulous and the establishment is beautiful. So nice to have a Peet's pretty close by even up here. We had two nearby Peet's where we used to live and we went all the time. Partly because of a lack of other good coffee options but partly because Peet''s coffee is good and consistently so. Peet's coffee definitely has a distinctive taste and it may be an acquired one. Years ago I found their coffee way too dark and way too strong. If you aren't careful, Peet's coffee can burn a hole in your stomach. But that doesn't mean it tastes burnt (like Starbuck's can). It never tastes burnt, just rich and dark. I now prefer the taste of Peet's coffee to most other coffees. As I've gotten older, the darker the coffee the better. I don't often go for coffee drinks, just straight coffee and dollop of half and half, so I can't comment on their mixed drinks much. Occasionally, my husband will order a soy latte and it is always good. They don't use the sweetened soy milk, which is a big plus. I find their baked items to be decent quality, although I've long ago lost interest in any of them because they never change. This location is conveniently located next to the 520 although on the opposite side. Still not too bad for getting your morning fix on the way to work. It is just like any other Peet's cafe.
