It was created with a focus on…read morecommunity and connection; providing a space for customers to relax, socialize, or work in a comfortable environment. As you enter the Coffee House doors, you begin to see the above take form. There are different seating areas with comfortable furniture. There is an area where paintings from locals of the community decorate the walls and are for sale. Another area with arts and crafts for sale as well. Free WiFi so customers can drop by and do some work as they drink a cup of coffee. While I was there, a customer did just that. The owner gave me a warm and friendly welcome and explained all the food items they had for breakfast and lunch. They have freshly baked New York Bagels shippedfrom New York daily. To drink I ordered a medium Caffè Mocha. To eat I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich with a Cloverdale Plain Bagel, with Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. And finish with something sweet, a Cherry Danish. The Mocha was amazingly good The Bagel was very large and fresh; crunchy on the outside and soft and moist ingredients the inside with a nice size portion of Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. I spent some time there and was able to meet one of the employees who happened to arrive during this time. I also met a nice older couple who enjoy eating at different restaurants and I recommended them Crooked Shoreline Steak and Seafood from Daleville, which I just finished eating there and few days before, and was the first to review this restaurant for Yelp. They loved the oral recap of my review and promised they would go that same event to dine there. They in turn recommended me Nakhon Thai Cuisine which I will be doing there and reviewing for Yelp next Tuesday. Amazingly, what I wrote about at the beginning of this review did take place during the time I was there. God has blessed this Coffee House in a very special way, and it was providing more than just food and drinks for the body, but also for the soul. I highly recommend this Coffee House to all reading this review and viewing the photographs taken for it. In this day and age that it is hard to find a place like this to enjoy a cup of coffee, meet interesting people to socialize with, and do some productive work. This Coffee Shop has a refreshing concept that everyone in the community should take advantage of and contribute to its success as well as benefit from it.

I was able to get a bagel for breakfast and they do charge for butter, but it was so much butter that I will have leftover for several more bagels. Their house chai wasn't interesting subtle spice mix, and was available with alternative milks. The star of the show, though was a vegan peach crumble coffee cake, which was about as good as you could possibly imagine such a thing in being. It had a moistness and texture that you would never think would come with a vegan baked good and every bite delivered a delectable flavor mix. The menu will vary, of course, but they clearly have the ability to deliver some quality items for virtually anyone seeking a breakfast or lunch.

Their display of desserts was sufficiently impressive (and several of these were labeled vegan as well) that I decided to sample a baklava labeled as the Burma flavor. It had been a lifelong dream of a team of three: Sadie Smith, Charlie Claus, and Ryan Patton, to open a Coffee Shop where everyone in the community is welcome to relax, chat, hang out, and do the things they enjoy doing while they drink a cup of coffee or tea with a pastry from Bread Craft. This morning I went to visit their Coffee Shop and see first hand their dream come true. It was early in the morning yet the owners were there to personaly greet me and serve me my Coffee. You could see from the sparkle in their eyes how proud they were of working hard to make their special dream materialize. And work hard they did because all the seating areas and stations were made by them and this gives the place a special character. I ordered a Cafe Latte and my friend ordered a drip. Their modern coffee machine made a wonderful coffee and they finished off by making a design on top of the coffee with the cream. Since it was very early the pastries had not yet arrived but I enjoyed talking with the owners about their new business, looking around at their creation, and enjoying the special cup of coffee they made me. I highly recommend this new Coffee House to the entire community as a place to come to wind down, be creative, meet and make new friends, and while at it enjoy a cup a coffee in a relaxed and comfortable environment where everyone is welcomed to hangout.

Being from out of…read moretown (Virginia Beach) for the holidays I had a lot of family who wanted to meet up and spend some time together and I really didn't feel like going out to a restaurant where I was going to be rushed out after finishing - I wanted to be able to get a drink or snack and sit for an hour or two and not have someone trying to rush me out the door. I immediately thought of this place as it's a mid-point for my dad and where I was staying while in town. We met up over here and I this time ordered a sandwich. I got the roasted chicken croissant which had cheese, spinach, tomato, and some really good artisan mustard or something. The sandwich came with a pickle spear and veggie sticks which are like funions (sp?) but made from much healthier veggies. They were good to me but my dad loved them. This little meal was $6.96 I believe. I also ordered another white chocolate raspberry mocha - yum - but I already talked about that in my previous review. This drink was $3.75 or $3.95 but it's A LOT of drink because they serve it in a large cappuccino mug. MMmmmmm. My dad ordered a breakfast sandwich, a bacon, egg and cheese. The same guy who helped my mom and I the day before was there and asked my dad when he brought my mocha what bread he wanted - they had a ton. There was a plain bagel, a sun-dried tomato bagel, toast, english muffin I think, etc. etc. He listed like 6 things my dad could get it on. He chose the sun-dried tomato bagel at the barista's suggestion and he loved it. His breakfast sandwich was about $3.50 or so. My dad also ordered hot loose leaf black tea which came out steeping in a little pot which had about 2 and a half cups in it. This was $2.00 or so. I mention the prices because this is a reasonably priced place with really good service and food at a decent price. It's what I always look for in a local coffee shop. My dad and I enjoyed our sandwiches and sat and talked and I checked my email on my laptop with the free wifi and showed him some pictures for about two hours total. We were never rushed and we had a very pleasant time here just as my mom and I had the day before. There were ebbs and flows as far as how many people were inside and in line over the two hours we were there but we had a chance to chat with the friendly barista who recognized me from the day before for a while and I asked about this business. Apparently the owners bought into a franchise portion of the coffee shop which I want to say has another 3-4 stores in Georgia but they are very adamant about fresh coffee, fresh food, good service, and a good mission. I believe one of their main issues is charity for African children... I saw some photos around as well as a few religious quotes but very few and not enough to seem preachy. I asked about the business and the barista (I wish I knew his name) mentioned that it had picked up as the Daleville Towncenter was growing and would probably be more busy after the apartments and townhomes are finished in the next few years and more homes and shops move in. He said during the spring and summer the outside firepit area will have some live music sometimes and they will perhaps stay open a little later (they now close at 9pm). Again, I had a great experience here, the service was phenominal and the food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. I think my dad enjoyed himself too. Plus the views of the beautiful mountains are all around through the large windows in the seating area... and it's gorgeous to see perched on the hill as this shop is across Rt. 220 from CVS and Food Lion. This will be a favorite haunt of mine when I'm in town from Virginia Beach.

In a short time, it has become the Coffee Shop in Vinton to go in the morning to enjoy a good gourmet coffee or tea, together with a breakfast sandwich, a bagel with cream cheese made in the house, or a sweet pastry. When I arrived to have breakfast, the place was almost full with people of all ages. In one corner two businessmen elegantly dressed in business suits with laptops were seated in one table with what seemed like talking business, a couple had just arrived and sat in another table drinking their coffee and socializing, two other men dressed more informal also with a laptop at another table discussing something, two young ladies seated at a counter with comfortable high chairs socializing, a husband and wife seated next to the Christmas tree enjoying some quality time together, and the manager of the place seated at a small table doing some work his computer. This not counting all those who came in to pickup takeout orders to go. One could tell that the community was taking full advantage of this beautiful and clean place with contemporary decor, large windows, and high ceilings. It also had a Community Bulletin Board on one wall near the wall for customers to post information on events happening as well as business cards of their businesses or services provided. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by a young lady employee behind the counter who was very knowledgeable about the menu of the Coffee Shop and explained to me the breakfast sandwiches that they had and took my order for one of them in a plain bagel and a large Mocha Latte Coffee. As soon as the order was ready she brought the items to the table where I was seated with a friendly smile, providing exceptional customer service. The coffee tasted absolutely Devine and was nice and hot; and the breakfast sandwich had a fresh plain bagel that was toasted to perfection, crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside, filled with fresh ingredients that together tasted amazingly delicious. Without a question, I would highly recommend this Coffee Shop to all reading my review and looking at my photographs accompanying it. This is definitely a relaxing place to go to socialize and spend quality time with family and friends, to do some work or have a meeting with work associates, or even for entrepreneurs to brainstorm ideas to start a business in the future or to make their current business grow. It wasn't that much food, but I didn't care too much as I was ok with a bit lighter. As for the iced chai, it was weak. It was mostly milk, not much of the flavoring. I told them to add more chai to it, which they did but it was kind of too late. They were nice and remade me a latte drink since I didn't like the chai. The latte was better, but not great either.
