I stopped in to a quick catch up with a dear friend to this location. We ordered bagels and coffee. We dined in and were asked for plates and coffee mugs. This made the visit feel like I was at home. Kind servers and clean bathrooms. Few things to know. You can not tip with a gift card so have extra money for the great service tip. Extra parking behind the business. When you exit you can only turn to the right and then take round about to head back towards freeway. Plan on returning back soon. I have also visited the drive thru and wonderful service. My experience here today was stellar. The location is super convenient, being right off the highway. There is a drive-thru. The cafe interior was super roomy and large and bright, and was immaculate. I liked the lay-out of seating sections, and the fact that there were central tables and wooden chairs, counter seating with high barstool-like seats against one wall, and a round shorter table with four upholstered, plush chairs around it by a window wall. So...lots of seating variety. Also nice was the VAST array of Starbucks merchandise and gift cards available - holiday and otherwise. I've not seen any Starbucks with more merchandise anywhere. Nice. Also nice was a large barrel full of coffee grounds for gardeners, free of charge. Another bonus were the two roomy bathrooms, both of which were clean and stocked. Best of all? The staff here were super nice. I mostly dealt with Steffen who patiently explained to me which of my "stars" expired soon, what they could be applied to, and all the details about my Starbucks rewards (note: it's not as straightforward as one would expect!). He was super nice and helpful. And my breakfast sandwich was wonderful. All in all, this was a terrific Starbucks and I'd definitely stop here again when traveling to Portland from my home city of Vancouver. read more

I come to Starbucks everyday for your Mint Majesty herbal tea. I am unable to have caffeine. It would be really nice to have more choices in tea flavors. It would be nice to have a fireplace and more comfortable chairs. The lobby is almost all hard seated chairs very noisy when moved back and forth. They need some feet on them that doesn't make noise. Not a relaxing atmosphere. The music is not relaxing too loud and a poor choice of music for relaxing and enjoying your drink. Should be soft and relaxing music. It would be nice to see more breakfast sandwich choices. I love the impossible sandwich that you have And the spinach wrap. I think there is an overkill on displays when you could add more comfortable seating. When you come in and order and set down I think it would be nice to have your coffee or food brought to your table instead of having to go up to the counter and getting it. For the workers at my Starbucks they are stellar. I love all of them. We are currently without a manager and they get alone fine without having one. I really feel that the manager position could be illuminated. read more

Driving back from my semi-vacation in Portland the car, and the humans eventually needed a pit-stop (if you know what I mean) and since during the whole trip juice was needed, why not do it at the end of the trip. This is one pretty Starbucks, communal table, nice lighting big open area, all the fixings a Starbucks should have... even a drive through, as the person who I was talking to was on the headset, and I figured out he was doing an order. When we were here on a late Sunday afternoon, it was dead, and there was really no question as to what we were doing there. The staff was talkative, friendly, and even tried to upsell us on their current promotion of packaged coffee, very professional, and yet fun. Just got charged $17.73 for two grande iced matcha's. I had two add on's (cold foam and coco. milk) If someone can let me know if this is right, that would be great. I've gotten this order multiple times and have been charged a lot less. The girl that took my order also watched me like a hawk when the machine was asking for a tip. Three of us stopped by the Starbucks today and there were several employees and yes they were busy but my friend who ordered about 5 minutes after me waited 15 extra minutes for a strawberry Refresh drink. We asked 2x and they the lady said, "I don't see your name". We proceeded to wait. And then asked again. After a few minutes her drink was pulled from the drive thru window area. This seems to be our pit stop of choice on our way to Seattle or to see family in Washington. Staff is always friendly & this location is clean. I knocked a star off because the bananas were turning spotty & overly brown. This might seem minor but there are so many dietary issues with a few members of my family that are lactose intolerant & can't eat breads. It really limits food choices to nuts or fruit & my husband opted to just not eat. read more

I want to give 5 stars because I'm a Starbucks die hard but this location has a few grumpy ladies and the parking lot is tiny. Diffucult for trucks to park in parking lot if its even half full. One way traffic too so it can be tricky getting into drive thru. We stop here often and whine about the tight space. Park at Aarons and walk over. My food and beverage are always spot on. Its a pretty busy location so restrooms can get a little messy, poopy toilet paper on the floor once but they got right to it! Great Selection of food and usually stocked up. Some neat gifts in the lobby. Store is on the small side. read more

Rachel my barista was super awesome and talkative! She accidentally made my drink warm and didn't even seem phased or frustrated to make a new iced one! I have been sitting in this Starbucks for the past 30 minutes and she asks so many original questions to all her customers. Every time she greets someone, it's a different question. Went into the Starbucks in Grand Mound because the outside order line was backed up into the street. Was confronted at the door by a sign that gave two choices: One directed "mobile app orders"; the other "cashier". There was no explanation to indicate that if you did not do a mobile order you were to use the other line... i.e. "non-mobile app orders", nothing but "cashier". Now, I am not the brightest candle in the room, but figured since I had not ordered yet, I needed to do so BEFORE going to the "cashier". In any case, after standing in that line and being ignored for 5 minutes, another customer came in and went to the "cashier" line and was promptly waited on.. I left since I am sure I do not deserve any fru fru coffee drinks if I am unable to decipher their millennial signage. read more

I was exhausted after a family weekend at Great Wolf Lodge down the street and was looking forward to getting my coffee for the long drive home. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Venti Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. When I got to the window I was instead presented with a nitro cold brew so I kindly corrected my order. The barista apologized and walked off to go correct the order. She came back a minute later with another drink still in the original nitro cold brew cup that appeared to be what I ordered so I thanked her and drove off. Unfortunately, whatever was in the cup was not good and was not a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. To top it off I was charged for the more expensive Nitro Cold Brew. Since we were already behind schedule I decided not to try and correct the drink for a second time and suffered through whatever the beverage was that I was given instead. read more

My husband ordered a black iced coffee. They put sweeter in it and then said it was cause he didn't specify no sweetner. Wtf does black coffee mean? They lecture him saying it automatically comes with sweetner and next time to make sure to order it right. Also our danish was burnt and my smores bar was overheated to melted status. I had to make a pit stop while traveling to go visit my best friend. This location is just like any other Starbucks. It's clean, lots of tables and seats for you to enjoy your coffee. 4 out of the last 5 times that my wife and I have gone to this location they have gotten our drink wrong. It's a bummer that we can't trust the baristas to make our drinks right because they're all super nice and it's a great location. We order iced coffee with sweetener and breve. Starbucks recipe has it so the drink comes that way when you ring it up in the POS and still they make it wrong. I'm assuming cause the baristas read what is printed out on the label and don't know the recipe. My wife and I worked for Starbucks for a long time and know it's not the way we order or miscommunication. It's simply a lack of attention. read more
