Starbucks used to be the gold standard for consistency. You always had a happy smiling barista make you the exact drink you wanted, and it always tasted the same. Over the last few years I've experienced a lot of burned beans (bitter coffee), scalded milk, too sweet or not sweet energy know what I mean. I appreciate this location because of it's drive-through, sometimes I don't want to lug my chair out of my chair, put it together, go in, get drink, go back to car, etc. It's nice just to pull up to a window and get what I want. I also appreciate that you generally still encounter happy, friendly baristas - no greasy haired snearing hipsters here (yes, I want decaf, and no that's not a travesty). A tip - be a vigilant consumer - if you want your coffee really sweet, let them know. If you want it sweetened, but not super sweet, let them know. You can specify anything, and they almost always can do it. I guess they can't really do anything about the burnt bean taste - but that isn't always there. read more

I have been to this Starbucks many times in the last few years (at least once every 2 months) as I like that it is open 24 hours a day and has a drive thru. Those 2 details are the only consistency it exhibits. The service is mediocre at best and almost non-existent at worst. The drinks are usually okay but never great (I've had much better Starbucks drinks at other Starbucks locations). The worst part of visiting this Starbucks is the service. I went there on Saturday night and while there was no one in the drive thru line in front of me it took at least 5 minutes before the barista opened the window and greeted me, at which point she said "hello" and then started taking another customers drive thru order. My coffee was just sitting on the counter at the window getting cold. That type of service is not unusual for this location. While I do appreciate the fact that they are open 24 hours, I wish there were alternative locations that were nearer to my house that had similar hours. read more

This is the first 24 hour starbucks I was aware of in the area. We make it a point to stop off on almost all trips to the airport which can be at odd hours. It also comes in handy if you work nights and need some coffee later than most places are open. My friend and I like to stop on our way to and from soccer games in Seattle. It has a drive thru and a gas station and even a taco stand in the back. Service is fast. Its super close to the ferry exit. The only real issue can be getting in and out of the driveway. read more

For the most part, this starbucks is consistent, the partners are somewhat friendly & the drinks are usually made very well. However, I've had a handful of negative experiences at this starbucks. There is especially one male barista who is not the nicest. On one occasion my boyfriend ordered two drinks, one made with soy, unfortunately the barista at the cashier forgot to write Soy on the cup and so it was made incorrectly, when my boyfriend informed him after he made it, he gave such an annoyed eye roll. The second occurrence, he made an Iced Venti drink for me, he forgot to give me a long straw (short straws are too short for the cup), as soon as he was done making my drink, he walked away-- I struggled to reach over the counter for a straw, after a couple mins of being unable to reach, I walked to where he was and asked him for a long straw, he again gave me the same annoyed eye roll. The store was not busy at the time, so there was no reason my request was too difficult to fulfill. These may seem like petty complaints, but being a previous starbucks barista, I always strived to give excellent customer service so, I have pretty high expectations. read more

Look, I'm happy they were open, and in a decent location - not counting the drug addicts. Unfortunately each drink made with water or ice tasted like bleached chlorine. No triple filtering going on here - unless they're old filters. Sad! read more

This is a strange location right behind a gas station and the staff are not the best either. Small place and very small parking.

I give this Starbucks only one star because of the customer service. If zero stars were possible that is what they would be gerting from me. The last few times I went it, they had new people and I kept getting charged extra for things I didn't even order and my drink was always wrong. I brought this to the managers attention and told her if this were my Store that I worked at we would just do what we call a "recovery." She was rude and acted like all I wanted was something free. I will never be going here again. I now drive a mile down the road when my work is less than a block from here. read more

Pros: -24 Hour drive thru, this was my savior after long nights of studying @ Odegard. -Consistency, it's sbux -Easy to get to if you're heading east on NG way. Cons: - Location, during rush hour, its a pain to get into this lot if you're on the opposite side of the street (facing west on NG way). -The drive thru usually has a long line, but it moves fairly quickly so not a big deal. read more

This is the best Starbucks location ever! I never get my drink wrong and the service is wonderful, they are also open around the clock.

Drive through = 5 stars Starbucks isn't really my favorite spot for coffee, but I love this location because it has a drive through. It's convenient for the times when it's raining and you don't want to get your hair wet or when you have two sleeping babies in your car or when you're just plain lazy. read more

Considering I pass this Starbucks to get to the free way daily, the fact that it has a drive thru makes its very convenient. That being said, it isn't always so convenient when the drive thru wraps all the way around the side of the building into the gas station parking lot. I also have one recommendation for this Starbucks, as a drive thru location. The drive thru Starbucks in my hometown has a tendency to get very backed up, just like this one in North Gate. Knowing that people are busy, if something holds up the line for too long and people are forced to wait 15-20 min for their coffee, the Starbucks in my hometown gives you your coffee for free. However, this Starbucks has never as much even apologized for the wait. The gesture would be very much appreciated and would encourage me to return as a customer. read more

I noticed that the drive thru's in LA have a waste can/bucket on the way out to purge your last drink or cup. nothing too special about this Starbucks location, it's close and convenient, and it has a drive-through. I go often and will definitely go back time to time. The 'line' is consistent, not too long and sometimes there's no line. The drinks are consistent, usually wait time is average Starbucks wait time. I have no complain and i am a fan! read more

This is a 24 hour drive thru that should be stocked with all the regular coffee things at all times one would think but 2 times now whilst driving thru to get coffee they were "out of iced coffee". My girlfriend (who now works for Tully's because SBUX SUX) says that all they have to do to make iced coffee is brew a full batch of coffee in one of their machines on a half batch setting and it takes about 15 minutes to make. SO FRICKIN' make it. Don't tell me you are out. It's all I want from you so there I am sitting in the drive thru trying to pick from some other sucky beverage when all I like from you is the iced coffee. LAME! The only reason they get more stars is because they are a drive thru and they are 24 hours. read more

The. Worst. Unclean store, got my order wrong (gave me sweetened instead of unsweetened), had the perks for a gold card wrong, tremendously crappy attitude, barista didn't ring me up properly. They charged me for the incorrect drink anyway and don't remake, or offer to remake, the drink. The worst of any Starbucks I've ever been to. This is THE BEST STARBUCKS I've ever been to. 1st of all it's open 24\7 witch is so so incredibly great I can't find the words. But then this one is packed full of some of the genuinely nicest, caring, and patient employees I've ever seen in any building. I've been coming here 2 or 3 times a day now for a while and EVERY TIME they're extremely polite and very patient from when I order all the way off the lot. They say the nicest things. Every coffee tastes just as perfect as the last, all the food I order is hot when it's supposed to be and cold when it's a cold item. One gentleman who works the window is very impressive. No matter how slow I order or how many things I add at the window he still says really nice stuff and gets me everything to the "T" and always perfect. I finally had to ask his name so I could leave this review. Thank you Jannon to you and all your co-workers for taking such great care of me and all my people each and EVERY time I come in. I appreciate EVERYTHING you all do for us. Keep up the great work. Also great job to management for hiring one of the best teams I've seen. As a starbucks partner from Skagit area, this starbucks hit the spot at 1am. The baristas were incredibly nice and my mom and I had the best drinks I think we've ever had at a starbucks. Great starbucks location! Right in front of the best taco truck ever. Tip: If you want to order for a large crowd, the best and most efficient way to do it is to call in the order and tell them when you will be arriving. I have found that calling in a huge order (once i did twenty six drinks for my office) over the phone at least an hour in advance was the best choice I made. When I arrived the baristas had my trays all ready for me with the cups marked, everything was extra-hot and plugged with the green swords. I was in and out of there in four minutes. I know that many of the baristas at this location have been working for a few years, so they know coffee inside and out. Another tip is to BE SPECIFIC. They will make it any way you want it, but it helps if you tell them how sweet you want your drink, how strong, etc. read more

Stopped here on our way on a road trip, I get anxiety from caffeine so I asked for a tall decaf white chocolate mocha. What I got was a grande with caffeine that was completely burned. Why a five for a Starbucks, that has a drive-thru? One morning, I had misplaced my debit card, and was 1.50 short on my drink. I was also running really late for work, and just having an all around bad morning. I was digging through the car and purse to pay for the drink. With great embarrassment I told to cancel my drink order and forget about it. The girl then whipped up my drink and told me to just take it, and if this would make my day a bit better, she would feel better. Ok, that in my book will go down as top notch customer service. I don't come to this location often, but when I do drive by I can't help but think of that morning and the nice barista that helped make my day a lot better. read more

The girl at the counter had me repeat my order four times. Which normally wouldn't be a problem, except every time she said it back to me it was wrong. Then when they called out my drinks, both were made incorrectly. Regular mocha instead of white mocha, the wrong sizes. When I came up to correct the order, I stood there trying to get someone's attention, and baristas were wandering around talking about personal matters and ignored me for about a minute and a half. One barista was very helpful- when she finally paid attention. So the drinks were remade, and one was again made incorrectly. But I had already left. So now I have a dairy beverage I can't even drink that I had to wait around even longer for. read more

I have been going here everyday for the last 2 years. Today was the last time. I ask for the same drink everyday and most of the employees seem to recognize me. Even if they don't, I still ask for the same drink- 4 shots over ice in a grande cup. Not too difficult, right? Apparently it is. Got an iced coffee today with 1 pump in a tall cup.
