To eat, I got the spicy bacon breakfast sandwich. It definitely has a kick! I would recommend it warmed; they get the bread extra toasty which made the sandwich even better! To drink, I got the seasonal Slice of Heaven iced. It's a vanilla latte with lavender and lemon, with the prominent flavors being the vanilla and lavender. It's creamy and not too sweet, a perfect coffee drink to start the day. I don't know what they use for their coffee beans here, but it is nothing short of witchcraft. This place has the absolute best tasting coffee. I order something different almost every time I come here, and every cup has been perfect. Everything tastes very well balanced. If there isn't a location near you, it is 100% worth it to purchase beans when you visit. Just let them know how you prepare your coffee and they can grind it for you. Even when there's a line I feel like it's never a long wait. There's also lots of seating here at this location. Nice staff, pleasant atmosphere, and the best coffee. Love this spot for coffee. I am a fan of the Generra and of many of their seasonal offerings. I find the drinks to be flavorful without being overpowering and warm without burning your hand. This location is always hopping when I come by, there is plenty of seating, but parking is a hot commodity. The nice thing is if you are patient, folks usually come out pretty quick and open up a spot. Its a great place to meet up with your friends or business partner for coffee and some of the baked goods. Someone spent a lot of time decorating this establishment. But I was just in this café right now with a coffee and the heavenly vegan peanut butter bar they sell here and listening to how adorable the staff is with each other. It's actually walking distance from where I live, which makes visiting even more convenient! Pretty decent-sized parking lot, which is nice because it's located on a busier street. Atmosphere is always cozy; usually filled with folks hanging out at tables studying, reading, enjoying their coffee, etc. They had a decent selection of snacks ranging from sandwiches to baked goods. I'll be honest. When we moved to the neighbourhood, I viewed this place with a little disdain because of its name + negative connotations. Diva? Pfft. It was only after a house guest sampled their coffee that I stepped inside for a coffee myself. After my drink, my mind was quickly changed to the positive column. It will teach ME to judge a place solely on its name. When it's hot out, I recommend their blended drinks. They are properly blended with no ice chunks at the bottom and aren't cloyingly sweet. My favourite is the Mocha Chumley with whip... ack! So good! I've never had a rude exchange with any of the baristas there but I've only gone in the afternoons during their non-rush periods. The coffee shop after family lunch was here and was surprised that they roast their own coffee. Not only that, one person was doing Cashiering & making coffee. She was cheerful and expeditious. Only thing is they had ZERO vegan baked goods. I mean: NONE. Had they had some, I would've gone to them more often and provided a five start review. I love the new space expansion. It's much more spacious and opened. I've always loved their bagels and dabbled with a few of their pastries, but now I like that they have some other selections of food for breakfast or lunch. However, as I walked towards the building I notice the entrance have been moved and the old entrance is going to be replaced, but not sure if it's going to be a solid window. I would like to see that door be more of a slider window for the warmer days for some fresh air, because I don't know if you've notice the ventilation is not the greatest now and or before; I always leave smelling like coffee and food. The outside seatings are great, but not really condusive for the cooler days. Some additional ventilation would be great. In comparison to Uptown Espresso downtown Seattle on 4th Avenue and Lower Queen Anne and Fix Coffee House in Greenlake. Just a thought and/or suggestion in my opinion. This is my go-to spot. Great coffee, friendly baristas, great bakery (Macrina), and generous rewards system if you pay with their Diva card. The card works like a gift card you can load money on and they give you a 10% bonus. Plus every $50 spent you get a free coffee. Everything I've had is good: cappuccinos, lattes, Highlands blend drip, London Fog. The Macrina almond croissants and cinnamon roll cups are particularly great. They roast the beans about 1 mile down the road in their Broadview location. Definitely get in touch with your inner Diva. read more

Great coffee, but the price for a large ICED Americano is over sixty cents more than a regular. The girl on duty said, "It's because of the ice." It's not 1860 anymore. Ice is pretty easy to come by. This price isn't found on the signage either, so it may be a barista tax, so to speak. For that matter, the only difference between the sizes of Americano drinks is the addition of more hot water. I've been to coffee places that understood that and charged one flat price for all sizes of Americanos. I'll get my pocket picked elsewhere. read more
