We arrived in line at 11:05 and there was one car in front of us sitting at the window. For 15 MINUTES the worker and the person in the car were chatting, meanwhile there is a line of cars behind us piling up. The worker even makes eye contact with us and sees the line. At this point we are realizing we are cutting it close to the ferry but we were trapped in line. At 11:20, the car drives forward DIDN'T EVEN ORDER ANYTHING, so the worker and the driver had just been chatting for 15 min for fun. We had hoped that was where the frustration ended because we were trying to give grace to the situation. Unfortunately that was not the case. We ordered our 2 coffees, bagel, and breakfast sandwich. The worker proceeded to make things at a turtles pace, stopping to talk about work drama with the other worker and another customer. It took her over 12 min to get most of our stuff to us. We were just waiting on the bagel when she comes up and says I'm sorry am I forgetting something? So we had to wait for her to make that and we had to pay for the bagel separately because she forgot to even charge us. And guess what!! She made the wrong bagel. I've never been the type to write reviews about places but I genuinely was speechless about our experience. We arrived at Angler's coffee at 11:05, as the second car in line, and we left at 11:35. 30 min is absolutely ridiculous for a drive thru and being the 2nd car in the line. The worker was completely oblivious of other people's time. Oh and we missed our ferry :)

Our toddler devoured the banana bread and yogurt parfait. The blueberry lemon load had an odd grainy texture though. There are a few baristas that know how to operate the espresso machine at the Mt Vernon location. Several baristas that have been new to the location have conveyed to me that sometimes the machine simply doesn't seem to work right. Even though the issue is known, this hasn't prevented them from delivering coffee that is very low quality. That said, some of the baristas do know how to operate the machine in a way that renders a good cup. Since this is the location that is near me, I am offering insight for this location. I have on occasion visited the Sedro Woolley stand and have never had the issue with quality. I don't fault any of the baristas as they don't control the equipment, and they don't set policy on quality control. I had one issue where a barista was very indignant when I asked for a new americano. Also management has been very dismissive and unprofessional when I have spoken with them several times. They seem happy to provide mediocre coffee at this location. Since then and because I don't want to argue over a cup of coffee, I have simply poured out several dozen drinks when they simply don't have any detectable coffee in them. I am no longer going to pay for milk and water so I am done with Morgan's. There are five markers that one can use to detect the presence of coffee in a drink. There is the color, the smell and the taste. Notably there is the stimulating effect that coffee has. Finally, there is the fact that coffee is a diuretic and often causes your cells to release water and this is why most people have to go to the bathroom after drinking coffee. Today like so many days in the past, none of these factors suggest that there is coffee in the Americano that I ordered. Today instead of discarding the coffee that was just white with no coffee color, coffee teste or coffee smell. I drank it so that I could do an A/B comparison. After drinking the coffee, there was no detectable stimulant effect. I have some cold brew in my fridge and drank that. Suddenly and unsurprisingly, I am now awake and alert and definitely experiencing the diuretic effect. It was my hope that eventually the management would become diligent enough to address this issue. Because they are perfectly content having me purchase milk water for 5 dollars and also provide a tip, I am officially no longer a patron. I've ordered from the Mt Vernon's stand several times a week for a few years now. Today was perhaps my 40th Americano with no detectable coffee in it. If you want a great tasting espresso, go to Sedro Woolley, pray that you never have to deal with the leadership over a quality issue

I don't see hemp milk much in other coffee shops so this stood out. There's zero latte art and it's just a regular white paper cup so I didn't bother taking a picture of the drink itself. The cafe itself is pretty interesting, with a whole variety of license plates, pastry case, and other CBD products, and there are lots of seating. The downside for being "bespoke" is that there is no menu. $7+ for a 16oz latte is a bit steep and we don't know the breakdown of prices, so if anything, even if there's no menu, a general price guideline would be much appreciated.

I've been meaning to visit this bakery since it opened, but never had the opportunity until now…read more I finally got the chance when I dropped my truck off across the street at Les Schwab's. I checked out Noona's offerings and decided on a pineapple turnover and a Red Bean pastry. To be honest I chose both because I have never eaten either one before. Red Bean Cakes are an East Asian treat made from red bean paste and wrapped in a soft dough. They symbolize luck, prosperity, and ancestral respect. When you visit, they have little take away boxes and serving tongs that you use to place your orders into the box. Not everything is available for self selection. Some of the items are behind a glass display case. The Red Bean Cakes was smooth and silky with a nice soft pillowy dough around it. I took a few bites while sitting at the outside table and the proprietor asked me if I would like her to warm it up. I agreed and a few seconds later she was returning with my warmed bean cake. Maybe I have simple tastes, but I think I preferred the bean cake room temperature. Both ways were delicious, I just liked it a little better before it was warmed. The pineapple turnover was a joy to eat. I love pineapple and was not disappointed with this turnover! The dough was perfectly flaky the way turnovers should be and the pineapple filling was wonderful!
