They are always consistent with the mocha (made with oatmilk) that I always order and even when they're busy at the drive- thru they're quick to get your drink. The person at the window is always smiling and they don't even mind when I pay for my coffee all in 1/2 dollar coins. They're conveniently located next to a few stores as well (ultra, marshals, hobby lobby, a pet store, and more). We come here every time we are down from Raleigh to stay at our house in Holden. It looks great there is now a Starbucks close by but all that glitters isn't gold. The staff is rude, the drinks take easily 20-30 minutes to make and the parking lot is horribly designed. At least the coffee is usually made accurately they just forget a drink or two read more

Shallotte NC Starbucks ... another unhappy experience. After my wife and I paid top dollar for her caramel macchiato, my dark roast with two shots, and a bacon egg gouda to "eat in" our morning turned into "help us!" ... We received our bacon egg gouda in about four minutes. I received my luke warm dark roast with two shots in about eight minutes. I returned it ... only to receive another luke warm dark roast with two shots. I surrendered and drank it. Meanwhile, nineteen minutes later my wife was still waiting for her caramel macchiato. We reminded the barrista ... and five minutes later my wife got her caramel macchiato. It was less than average on the taste report card. The point is we pay $$$$$  to eat our food order with our coffee order. They weren't even busy ... To top it off when I calmly pointed out to the barrista their failings that morning, she pushed back with excuse after excuse after excuse. She was terse. This is not the first time this has happened at the Shallotte NC StarBucks (we lost count) but it will be our last. The owner, the manager, and  the crew, need customer service training and people skills training. BTW I didn't mention the "pushback artist's name" because I don't want anyone fired ... After waiting 40 minutes, my friend still didn't get his food and had to complain to the staff not once, but twice! And after receiving his order, we noticed that they had messed up his order, which was a simple croissant . This was disappointing considering they had about 15 employees working behind the counter. My expectations were high because this was a nice looking establishment but I was saddened by the reality that they were careless with my friends order. This grants them 1 measly star. read more

My mother and I were traveling in the rain through the area on the way to Virginia after a long time away. When we got to this location, we learned we had placed our mobile pickup elsewhere and it was too far out of our way to go back. The employees at this location were so sweet and warm and made our drinks and snacks for us instead of sending us on our way. New location that's a little cramped as far as the drive thru but weirdly enough I enjoy the view when you're waiting. The employees are crazy kind, patient, and overall polite. Generally it's quick but sometimes people take long with orders like I noticed today and the guy taking the order was way more patient than I would've been. Very glad to see Starbucks in Shallotte and even happier to see the level of service provided. The food and drinks I've gotten have been stellar as well. read more

They were not really busy with orders, but took me forever to get a bakery item heated up. 2 people who got warmed sandwiches who ordered after me got their's first. When asking an employee for it at pick up area,she stated that she only worked with beverages and went back to that with no mention to anyone else what I was waiting for it. I ordered on the mobile app. It told me to go through the drive thru and tell the barista I have a mobile order. I did that and was chastised by the person working the window because I did not stop at the microphone where you order and tell them I was there. I didn't realize that was the process since that was my first time of going through the drive thru for a mobile order. The Starbucks person was very rude in pointing out my mistake. They definitely need some customer service training. I think I will stick to the North Myrtle Beach store for my coffee fix. read more

I went online to check times - when I arrived at the place it said it did not open till 11 - I drive 15 minutes to get here - when I could drive 20 min the other way to North Myrtle which I know will be open - this is the third time I have check the web page for the time and then arrive and find it not open. It should be changed on the website - this may be a corporate issue- whatever- it should not be my issue as a customer - it has been an inconvenience three times - not counting the times you have been without product - so I have decide not to go here any more - sorry you loss a customer that spends about 400$ a month at Starbucks - I have excused the product shortage not your fault - but having different times without letting the public know is very aggravating! read more

The workers are extremely nice, best ice chai tea lattes that you can get, refreshers are incredible!!

Service is fairly quick but I was met with attitude from a guy whenever I ask for NO whipped cream on my drink, then pulled to the window and was handed a drink WITH whipped cream on it. At least get the order right if you're going to be rude. read more
