As far as food and beverage quality goes, Starbucks is remarkably consistent store to store. So, if you like the Starbucks taste you will like it here. If you don't then you won't like it here either. As far as location and interior décor this Starbucks is as good as any other. The parking lot is a little awkward, but for the most part this Starbucks delivers pretty much exactly what you expect. The service here, however, is exceptional - even when compared to other Starbucks. My server (Shae, I believe) wasn't merely pleasant, but genuinely seemed happy to see me. She took obvious pride in her mission to serve others and add just a little bit of extra comfort and happiness in the world. In today's self-entitled world, precious few understand the true dignity that serving others affords. I walked into this Starbucks with high expectations of their quality of product. Those expectations were exceeded by their quality of heart.

Every time I stop by, the whole team seems like they're having a great time together which doesn't always happen in these kinds of settings. One of the team members always makes my day by remembering my order and calling me "sweetpea". One thing that really impressed me was seeing how that same team member handled a sleeping unhoused person at one of their tables. At other businesses, I've seen staff scream at people to leave and handle them roughly. However, she was kind and compassionate and didn't just send him outside. Instead, she asked him if there was anyone she could call for him and when he said yes, she helped him out by waiting until his ride arrived. While this isn't the best Starbucks to sit down in (it's quite small and busy), it's a great spot to grab a quick morning coffee and the customer service is some of the best.

Due to the location, this particular Starbucks has more natural light than most I've been to in Edmonton. So I usually tend to enjoy sitting by the big windows. I also appreciate that there's decent amount of parking and handicap spots. As it is a bigger layout than most, there's two separate doors into the space. So if you're sitting at the larger table, you might notice more of a draft (especially in our chilly Alberta winters!) Lots of snacks and bites to eat plus drinks just like other locations. Today I was with my aunt and we tried strawberry frap (gotta keep the valentine theme!) and believe me, say yes to having the banana added. Omg tastiness... the thickness... sweet but not over powering and the banana made it similar consistency to a milkshake, so choosing venti was the perfect size for that drink. I selected mine with full milk and my aunt wanted coconut milk. We were both very happy with our choices and definitely will order that again. We also split bacon egg bites (two per order). They're decent but I have to say I still prefer the sandwich over the egg bites. As I needed a bit more to eat, I grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie. I was very pleased the cookie was chewy and soft (I've had cookies at other locations and cannot say the same thing). As always, a decent experience at Starbucks. I just wished that some of their chairs had a bit more padding to them and should have remembered to bring my chair pillow with me.

We originally came for a business across the street but they were not open yet so my kids and I hit this cafe for a little treat. They had a nice variety of options that were great for my little ones - Baby Bell cheese, fruit cups, dessert squares, etc. But after checking in we found out they had a discount deal for a breakfast sandwich so of course we had to get one of those. And my kid loved it! Added in a hashbrown and it felt better than going to the McDonalds or Timmy's for the same thing. The staff was super wonderful and very accommodating and kind with me and my kids. Even though this is a cafe it had a nice family restaurant kind of feel.

You can also earn stars on the app which will give you free food or drink items. If you're waiting in the drive thru line, it can get quite long and busy at times. My current favorites are the peach green tea lemonade, the strawberry March and the javachip Frappuccino. Keep in mind that any drink you order can be altered or adjusted for sweetness or cold. You can do this when you order verbally or you can also do this on the app! The store itself is like every generic Starbucks store, music turned up, and lots of tables and seatings. You can often people working away on their laptops, studying or just chit chatting with friends and catching up.
