Driving down the coast and needed some energy. Ordered a white chocolate mocha, one of Starbucks staple drinks. I left the drive through and noticed it was just a latte with no sugar or syrup. I went inside to request some syrup bc I didn't taste it. The barista (a tan girl with a high voice and dark brown hair) seemed to be overworked and got frustrated when I requested she add more syrup. She threw the drink out then explained she can't add anything to my drink if I drank jt (she could have given me some syrup to put in myself). She remade it with an attitude and when giving it to me said I should have asked for extra syrup because she made it last time and she knew it was right. I've been to this location three times, and two of the three they were closed during their listed hours of business. Once was on a Thursday, when they were open and my drink was great. Although the wait was terrible. The other two were on a Friday and Sunday in the middle of the day, and they weren't open. read more

I work nearby and have visited this Starbucks at least once a week, only because I need a mid morning coffee fix. But I'm about to settle for Dunkin donuts at this point. I understand it's a fairly new establishment, and have given the staff ample chance to improve. Unless I order a black coffee, my order is wrong. My fellow coworkers nearly always experience the same dilemma. Not only are the orders wrong, but the staff is rude and very unapologetic about their mistakes. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes minimum, get your order mistaken, and leave without any remediation. Management gave me a $4 gift card during my last visit since my order was forgotten about, causing me to wait 20 minutes. Today I went to spend the card, the coffee was wrong, my food forgotten about again. The staff really needs more training, or any training at this point. Very disappointed. read more

What a mess!! Three people don't know what the heck they are doing!!! Go somewhere else! Do not waste your time.

Stopped here on our way home from Raleigh for coffee and breakfast. First issue was their oven was not working, so most breakfast options were off the table. Things happen so we were understanding and just changed our food choices. The rest of the problems were due to poor management: The restrooms were lacking supplies and unclean. The next issue was they forgot to give us utensils and butter for my bagel, which was already cold due to not being able to be warmed up, as well as my husbands muffin. The final issue was they got our drinks completely wrong. We were in a rush so didn't notice this until we left because they orally told us the right drink order, but they were not the drinks they gave us. Extremely disorganized location. read more

There are still good people in this world!!! These girls who worked last night (10/27/18) are PHENOMENAL. My son had vomited in the car on the way back home (to VA from FL)... and after that incident, I needed some sanity and caffeine...so I went to the closest drive-thru Starbucks. And here's how the conversation went... I pulled up to the drive-thru, ordered my coffee and then said "okay, full disclosure, I know everyone has a headset on, so just a heads up, my kid puked in the backseat and I tried to clean it up as much as I could - but it still smells like vomit...SO...in your best interest, I'd just open up the window really quick to scan my phone and then close it! And if you have any coffee beans you could spare to...never mind (thinking that since it was expensive coffee, they wouldn't be able to give me any chopped up beans to help with the smell)" She said "nah, we can..." I pulled up...held my phone out...she handed me the coffee and said "no girl, this one is on us!" Then another girl came behind her, handed me the cup of chopped up beans and said "I have two kids, I've been there! We hope you have a better night!" I was dumbfounded and so impressed. Erica had zero customer service when she rung us up for our beverages. It was almost as if we were an inconvenience to her banter with coworkers. At the end of the counter where we picked up our drinks, the barista didn't even call our names, she just slid the drinks towards the edge. Coffee was good though. read more

Have been to this location multiple times. Ordered through mobile app more than once and every time I go to pick up my order they haven't even noticed the ticket had printed out. Therefor, I have to wait (which defeats the purpose of using the mobile app). At first I tried to overlook it because they just opened not long ago and I assumed the employees were still learning. Starbucks is slow. I've learned to order in advance and only go through drive thru when no cars are in it. I have found a few times they've messed up orders. They've previously given me a Frappuccino when I've ordered a steamer. Many times they run out of products. With the app I can customize and they usually get it right and timely. Brand new store, so happy we finally got a Starbucks. It's slow, but that's to b expected as everyone is new & learning, chipotle next door & is slow too, but again, it's to b expected, their all new.
