This one led to a rather hot date, that to this day still brings steam up. Aside from that night and quite a few months with a lovely lady, this Starbucks is starting to show its age. It's not as modern or kept up, as much as some of the other locations are. My guess is because this isn't in a trendy spot and/or sales numbers. I could be wrong, but I did enjoy a mocha frappe here yesterday after surviving a doctors appointment. Treat yourself with a treat, and this was delicious as usual. As for their traditional coffees, I'm just not that impressed. The two I like are the Christmas or Rift Valley blend. Haven't seen these for a while, but the Yukon works in a pinch, despite being more acidic than I generally like. The frappes though are tasty, although my goodness they seem more expensive than ever. All of the employees are great folks. Everyone is friendly and this is a chill location to read a book. It works if I'm in the area. read more

What a nice Starbucks! They are everywhere, but some of them are far better than others! The employees here are friendly and attentive, which is always a plus! Today I felt like a nice large cup of hot apple cider with a oatmeal and blueberries! My order was ready immediately and was absolutely perfect! What a great day it is! The remodeled store takes away an established community spot, with message board and small book exchange, and replaced it with a "pick up only" spot. There are a couple of tables inside but they are super close to people waiting for pick up and people are bumping over each other to order and pick up. The space is gone. The food display is gone. The nice community aspect is gone. People used to write books here! read more

I just wanna talk about a great customer service happened here!! Yesterday Starbucks was giving out free Red Reusable cups and I went to my home store in Clifton VA to get one and they were ran out but I noticed a stack of them and when I asked they said those are for sale!! Today I stopped by this nice store in Huntsman square and I thought about buying the red Reusable cup but the employee there said we ran out and they weren't for sale and when I told him my story he said please give me a few minutes I'll check something and get back to you then he came back with a $4 gift card for my next drink on them!!! I was shocked and I kept telling him but it's not your fault you guys didn't do that , he said we know but we are sorry for your bad experience and want you to have a good one! Well!! The store that does that to me will do that to you too and will do everything in the same positive attitude!! While the coffee is good. I went to the Huntsman square one today to meet a friend. I understand when there are no tables but to have one person using two tables to work on their laptops is just poor business!! You are loosing money and business because we left. I really love this Starbucks at Huntsman Boulevard. It's small, extremely friendly, and generally efficient. But it is seriously overdue for some upgrades in the interior. The seats are all ripped up. I've snagged my clothes on them so I can no longer sit down here on my way to work. It's really a shame that it's so rundown. read more

I swear I was on a prank show this morning with what I received as my drink. I always get the iced shaken cinnamon oatmilk latte. Today I came in and I'm convinced half the container of cinnamon was dumped in my drink so I kindly asked them to remake it with very little because usually it's not this heavy on the cinnamon. Well I'm pretty sure my 6 dollars to this drink went right back to buy a whole new container of cinnamon bc the second one they remade me had more. (Photos below are the remade one) I don't get why they had to be smart about it. I come there very often and have never been treated like this. Dang. I don't feel stupid often but Sophia just did the job. I guess this is my fault for not ordering through the app. First, after waiting for her to wrap up a conversation with a customer for 3-4 mins, I asked Sophia for an iced drink with no ice because last time I ordered from this location the ratios were all off. Sophia looked at me like I had 6 heads and then asked if "I was sure i didn't want a latte" no honey buns, I want the cold drink with no ice. She then asked if I "wanted oat milk all the way to the top because we normally don't do that" at this point to ease this already difficult interaction, I told her just light ice to which she nodded in the affirmative like that should have been my choice from the get go. I then asked for my cold foam on the side because they either put a gallon or a drop, she then laughed again and told me they don't do cold foam on the side. Good thing my regular location in the Bradlick shopping does this for me! It ain't rocket science sweetheart especially when I am literally the only customer in the store ordering a drink at this point. This was my third time at this location this week- definitely the last... also if you can order it without ice on the app you should probably be able to do it in the store... someone needs some refresher training... read more

The service is great here! Of course, their coffee/prices are usually similar across locations... but the staff/baristas here are nice with their quick service. Reason why 4 stars and not 5 is because this location is really small... so it can get crowded... There aren't many places to sit here since it's so small so this probably is not the place you want to come to work/study. In addition, in the winter, since it's so small, whenever the door opens, there's a chill/draft and it can be really cold/uncomfortable, but overall, the quick service makes this place good for me! read more

I've been coming here for years and I can't believe there aren't any reviews of it yet. This may be a total chain coffee joint, but the people here are what makes it nice. They don't seem like they're in a rush and they serve the drinks quickly. If you go here enough, they'll memorize your order and have it for you before you even order it most of the time. Prices are standard, seating is limited. They do have outdoor seating, however, which is more than you can say for some of the Starbucks' in the area. Be ready to wait your ass off during peak hours though. You're gonna be late for work if you try getting coffee in a rush and begin thinking you're going to be in and out. This Starbucks location has the absolute best staff of any Starbucks in the Springfield / Burke area. They get to know their customers *by name* in addition to their drink orders, and actually engage with their customers, which is a welcome change from some of the other nearby locations. This is the only location where I've actually heard the barista call out, "Hi, welcome to Starbucks!" when customers walk through the door. I disagree with other reviewers who say that the staff is either out of touch or can't handle a crowd. I've seen this crew clear a line 15 or 20 people deep in a matter of minutes, all while smiling and continuing to engage with customers. It is true that seating is a bit limited, but I'd encourage anyone who wants to sit to ask to share a table with anyone sitting solo. The friendliness of the staff is infectious, and I often share a table with someone who is sitting alone. I go out of my way to patronize this Starbucks over any other. This is my go to Starbucks for iced caramel macchiatos! I hate it when I order the same drink from a Starbucks and I never know if it's gonna be made well that day. I don't have to worry about that at the huntsman location! The drinks are consistently good and they have plenty of outside space you can sit on a nice day! It's a bit on the smaller side and doesn't have too many cozy seats so it's not the place to chill out with friends for a while. But if you want a great cup of coffee on the go - this is the place. Today they forgot to add the espresso and I was too far away to go back and have it corrected. A couple months ago THEY FORGOT TO ADD THE COFFEE! I'm on yelp looking up something else and I see this poor rating on one of the best Starbucks in this area. If you're convinced to get your coffee at Starbucks this is the best one in a 10 mile radius and I have been to them all multiple times. I know the staff at most Starbucks in the area and these Batista's know how to make drinks properly, the manager Mike also cares about the quality of the service and drinks. You'll often see him at the bar or in the store asking customers about their day or their drinks. Starbucks is what it is, but this is 5 stars compared to the rest. Literally the worst starbucks i've ever been to. I go to various starbucks locations everyday, but this is by far the worst. The staff was rude and in no way tried to be helpful. I asked for a cold brew with caramel syrup and vanilla foam. I saw the barista have to restart my drink, no biggie. I appeciated him realizing it was incorrect before handing it to me. So he re read the order and then made my order completely wrong again. he used the left over foam he had already blended for the previous drink which was basically NOTHING but the smallest amount of a liquid cream and caramel sauce ontop instead of the syrup. So when I got my drink I politely let the girl who was helping organize mobile orders and pick ups know that my drink should've had foam and she yelled at the baristas saying this was suppose to have foam to which they replied "it does" and she repeated that back to me handed me the cup and continued doing what she was doing. I'm not the type to ever post after a bad experience but it's just their attitude when I politely seeked to have my drink corrected. Down in VA for a family funeral, two morning stops at this Starbucks made the trip so much better. Why? The baristas and other employees are fantastic. They go above and beyond the expected Starbucks efficiency and courtesy, by being extraordinarily warm, even hilarious some of them, and jovial. Definitely can't handle a crowd! Do not attempt to get your Sbux fix during the morning rush; 20 minute wait for a drink! Chatty barista was too preoccupied with talking and was visibly slowed down and could not handle the rush. I hope the management pays attention. I will not be stopping here during rush times again.
