The set up of this Starbucks is not great - the bar is really close to the cash register which makes it very confusing for new patrons coming in to figure out where the actual line is to order, versus the line to pick up your drink. Because this location also has a drive through, it makes things extremely busy and it takes a while for your drinks to come out. They probably needed at least one more person on staff to get through all the orders. I had ordered one black tea lemonade but the girl at the register ended up charging me for two and I didn't even realize until two black tea lemonades were handed to me at the bar. At least I got what I paid for, but because I didn't really want the second drink, I was annoyed at this little mistake. But because of how long I had already waited for everything, I didn't want to bother going to the register again to process a return. read more

The people that work at this location generally don't give a crap about you or representing Starbucks in any way. Today, in the drive thru, the man on the speaker said "Welcome to longest line in Tracy, what can I get you?" I understand they're busy and tired but come on, be professional. All the team members I've seen here are mingling, talking about their personal lives when you're at the window. Last week, I mobile ordered a few items and when I arrived one item was out of stock. The person in charge instructed the man helping me to put the difference on a gift card for me. No big deal since I work nights and often stop by for a coffee before my commute. After trying multiple times, he said ok, it's done and handed me the card. Guess what? The card was empty. It wasn't working so he gave up and gave me a card with nothing on it. I get that with COVID, they're drive thru is pretty busy most of the time but that doesn't mean they shouldn't focus on customer service. You can get people through fast AND be professional and friendly. It's not hard. Overall, the 2 stars I gave is simply because I like their drinks, nothing else at this location. read more

Friendly staff. I wish the chairs were more comfortable. My husband & I just stopped by for a leisurely cup o Joe & to read the newspaper. The seating is not as comfy as our favorite Starbucks in Carmel Valley. Ok, ok, I know this is Tracy & that this is just a little Starbucks off of 205, but am I asking for too much? He threatened to call corporate on me all because I called to make a complaint this morning about his crew making my drink wrong and me having to ask them 3 times to make it correctly in less then a 10 min interaction. I explained that this has happened twice before and right after saying this, he began saying, "Can you stop yelling and talking so condisending to me"? First off. I wasn't yelling however if you want me to, I'd be happy to show you the difference! A great pit stop over the years between Sacramento and the bay to try some blonde roast coffee that is heavily advertised these days. Its a great rest stop for me to break up a long trip. The soothing Starbucks atmosphere particularly appreciated after enduring usually a handful of people that probably shouldn't be behind the wheel. The blonde Americano is heavenly. No bitter no sugar necessary. No burned bean hints at all. Light roast coffee necessitates the highest quality bean and one can tell there was no corner cutting in the coffee making and bean selection process. Neutral colored floors and a couple of flower decorations that aren't at other locations. Some Edison lights at the front over the counter and large windows around two sides. A few industrial lights over the community table... If your particular about lighting your sure to find a sweet spot somewhere. Comfortable enough to camp a bit. Gaze out the window at the highway and enjoy the good stuff while considering tossing your at home coffee maker in the trash. read more

Should have read all the reviews before coming here. So many workers behind the counter and only ONE worker actually making drinks. Ridiculous. I had a mobile order just for black iced coffee no classic syrup, i walk in and the girl tells me that "they're still working on my order" then proceeds to just lean against the counter and chat w another worker also doing nothing. Once they finally finish my order they place it behind the glass and never say anything, i walk up to say thats my order and all 73 workers behind the counter ignore me until i finally just grab it myself and one of the workers looks upset that im grabbing it myself. This location unfortunately does not do well wait drive thru wait times. Came to the store today and the door was locked. No one was allowed in and no reason given. Also said no mobile orders today. The drive thru line was still long with only eight cars ahead of me. It's strange how the inside of the store is unavailable and and no mobile orders and yet the drive thru is still long. I went a few days ago with my sisters to get our daily Starbucks drinks and we had the best customer service from Violet :). I always get a strawberry açaí refresher with water and my sisters get the one with lemonade. There is times where I go get my drink and they give me a strawberry açaí lemonade which is good but not the drink I order because I prefer it with water but Violet made sure my drink was correct. Violet noticed my drink looked cloudy like when it has lemonade and made sure it was remade with water just how I had ordered. Just by doing that it made me had a good experience because I didn't have to go back and ask for my drink to be made with water. We actually went yesterday and again we had great customer service from Violet :). read more

Where do I even start? I came in with 3 other people and headed straight to the cashier for the order. There were 5 staff members on deck and not a single one acknowledged us. Trust, none of us are invisible. It could be observed that they were preoccupied but not even a decent, "Hi, we will be with you shortly." was said. The shift supervisor (I know because he was on the phone and said it) even passed us a few times without even glancing our way. After I got his attention, he finally summoned a cashier to take our order. She wasn't thrilled to take the roll. Huge RAVE! Starbucks drive thru on Clover Starbucks rolled out a new menu and many of their old items are gone. I was kinda bummed when it was time to order but the manager who was taking my order told me to choose whatever I wanted off the new menu free of charge! I told him he didn't have to do that but he insisted! It took a little a little bit for my order but the girl taking money at the window chatted with me the whole time telling me about the menu and how nothing is pre-packaged anymore and it's all made fresh there onsite. It took from 8am to 8:25 to get my damn Espresso Truffle, and I started work at 8:30. I still made it in time... anyhow come on 25 minutes? Sheez, I think there was a new girl too.
