My mom and I stopped by here as we were on a waitlist at Boiling Point with a time estimation of 45 mins to 60 mins. When we arrived, there was a line of about three people and the tables were pretty much full which was unfortunate as we wanted to have a seat while waiting. There was two small tables, long tables and bar counter and chairs. The decor and lighting is the same as other Starbucks. It was my birthday so I have a free drink or food choice but I opted for the drink as I was going to eat soon and we went with a hot a venti Chestnut Praline latte. Additionally, I got a birthday cake pop as a small present for myself too. I told the cashier my order and then once it was time to pay, I told him that I had a free reward due to my birthday and the cashier wished me a happy birthday, which I appreciated! I like this location! It's tucked away from the mall in its own little corner, which means it's not as crowded as other Starbucks. Han was super friendly as she greeted us; I appreciated her energy. There was absolutely nobody in line and hardly anybody in the store. One employee was working on the to go orders, the Barista was standing around looking like he was looking for something to do, and the cashier Layla was emptying bags of coffee into bins to put under the counter. Initially, when i stepped inside and stood at the counter for a good 2 minutes, she finally said, "I'll be right with you," but then continuing with the beans . I was literally standing there for about 6 minutes watching her just pour coffee beans into containers - which was not an immediate concern and probably could have been put aside for one second. Meanwhile, in the long stretch of time I was waiting, the line got longer and longer and longer. I was on my break, so I didn't have all the time in the world to waste. She didn't even smile, or apologize or anything when she finally decided to acknowledge me. As a former manager, I feel this could have been handled differently. I popped in for a PSL because it's Fall and I'm basic, and was very pleasantly surprised at how good the coffee tasted! I always feel like the coffee tastes a bit burnt at Starbucks, but not this time. There was a lovely balance to my drink with appropriate smoothness for a latte, and the pumpkin spice syrup didn't taste oily like it has in the past. I credit everything to the male barista (Austin?) who was working on 9/10/2019 around 12pm. He was single handedly making delicious drinks while training a new employee. Props to you brother! They were bright and friendly in demeanor. The barista who made my drinks was also extremely friendly, made a (minimal) mistake on my drink and remade it. Love this location and the layout of the restaurant. Plus they are one of the few things open on Thanksgiving Day. Major plus! The flow and layout of the restaurant is inviting and modern. I and love the fact they have two restrooms in the location. All you need is the code and you are in. But like every Starbucks you have your drinks, pastries and food case but this one had two and offered more items than the majority of Starbucks I frequented. The line was 2 rows deep but flowed well and the wait wasn't that long. They even had an array of teas to choose from more than I am usually offered. I don't know what they do with their staff but this is by far one of the nicest staffed starbucks' that I've been to. Staff always greets you even for mobile orders which makes it so much easier and quicker for pickups. The only very inconvenient thing is that there isn't a drive through and is always busy. Great location and I love the fact that they hire the spouses of our military personnel. The y are always friendly and the coffee is good. I asked for a drip coffee with steamed milk. They young lady was tilting the coffee carafe to get the last drop of coffee out when she came to the counter I asked if it would be possible to get my coffee from a fresh batch. This place is disgusting. Trash everywhere, trash overflowing, bathroom dirty, people's cups left laying around, not to mention the workers lack of customer service. Had a mobile order that was lukewarm and when I went to ask for sugar I was ignored as three of the ladies had conversations with each other and this guy customer complaining about a homeless person minding his business. The Starbucks is GREAT! The staff is very nice the space clean, everything I want and would expect from a Starbucks. However, I was there on Monday and two teenage kids stole my iPhone while it was charging. Another customer saw them and let me know but there wasn't much I could to do ask them to return it, and they denied having it, and left. Most Starbucks locations are pretty typical, but this is an extra good one. And one of the few locations that really makes a GOOD Double Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino. The employees here are awesome - super friendly, accurate with orders, and they make the drinks quickly. They seemed laid back and also seemed to enjoy their jobs. Makes for a good experience. Interior feels a little cramped with the way the counter is right inside the door. When we arrived there was no line at all, but I could imagine it might be a bit awkward if there was a long line. I feel a little silly writing a review for Starbucks. I don't think they need my endorsement, everyone knows what to expect from them, and I don't think positive or negative reviews will deter or draw people. Either way!! I had to mention this. It's a small thing to those of you that don't drink fatty, white mocha based drinks; for those that may, this is the sole reason I go to this specific store. I get a cafe misto with white mocha (a thick, sugary, chocolate-less 'mocha' sludge). I never ask anyone to stir it (you can only accomplish so much stirring with a wood stick vs the giant spoon they have behind the counter), because I don't want to be 'that' person.. But!! It's kind of an in-store policy of theirs (I know for a fact that it isn't anywhere else I've gone): stir all the sludgy drinks!! I mentioned why I loved them so much to the barista once and she mentioned their super awesome stir-policy. Rad! (And of course, while this detail is the reason I initially made this my go-to store, the customer service is 110%, and totally contagious as I leave smiling every time. I started going to this Starbucks in the morning for two reasons: One; It's closer to Lowe's when I have to drop my boyfriend off and two; It's not as busy as the one on Interurban. Yes, this place doesn't have a drive-thru like the one on Interurban, but I must admit... the past couple of times that I've gone here and since I have no other choice but to go inside, they immediately take my order and by the time I'm done paying... my drink is already ready. Unlike the one on Interurban, if I were to go inside rather than go to drive-thru... the wait time is would be the same as waiting in drive-thru. No thanks. So if you're looking for your wake up with being in and out within less than 10 minutes, I suggest you go to this Starbucks in the morning. read more

This is a wonderful location, right next to the Southcenter Westfield Center Mall and the neighborhood Target. We usually avoid the mall Starbucks and grab a coffee here while shopping or running errands. This location has plenty of convenient parking, tall glass windows, dark wood, and comfortable furniture that are almost always claimed. It does not have a drive thru, which would have been a wonderful touch, but the line moves pretty quickly so it isn't too much of a deterrant. While the line does move quickly enough with their standard two-barista arrangement on a Sunday night (last night). Don't expect either of them to be nice, pleasant, crack a smile or be friendly in any way. They actually didn't make my drink correctly, but I chose not to have them fix it, simply because I didn't really want to talk to them again. The coffee station was well stocked, but messy with sugar, cream, coffee spilled everywhere like a child (or messy adults) were on a weird coffee station rampage. As a side note though, I have been here several times in the morning, during the morning rush, and the baristas are much friendlier, and quicker then. read more
