As far as cafes go, this isn't the most aesthetic one I've visited, but the coffee was good and the lady at the counter was nice. She seemed to be a one man show, and although it wasn't super full when I was there, there was a steady flow of clients in and out.

We always go local while traveling and were happy to find this place. Close to the airport!

Had an ok experience. I got drip coffee and a cheese danish. The coffee was ok and danish as well. They didn't offer to toast it for me, I had to ask. I was here with friends. They found their food and drinks fine as well. Generally, everything was satisfactory, but we had to ask for napkins. All 3 of us for food items and none of us got napkins. We had to ask. So while the staff was friendly, just dropping a star for service. If you're looking for a quick coffee and food stop this would be as ok a stop as any.

This place was really great! If you're leaving the airport and need a place to stop, this is the place! The service was really great and they were very personable. This place is a bit on the slower side so if you're in a rush maybe not, but well worth the wait. The breakfast sandwich I had was really affordable and tasted great! It was also very filling for only costing around $7. The cinnamon roll pastry was $5 and loved it too. I was really impressed with Impresso Espresso and if I return to Seattle, I will definitely return!

We got the plum cake, which was a standout -- loaded with fresh plums, a beautifully crispy laminated layer, and not overly sweet at all. It strikes that perfect balance where the fruit actually shines through instead of being drowned in sugar. We also tried the chocolate croissant, and it didn't disappoint either -- great flaky layers and rich chocolate flavor throughout. If you're in the area, it's a solid stop for pastries, just be ready to queue. Nice touch: they offer a 10% discount to seniors over 65.

Nothing says "great workout" quite like immediately replacing every calorie you just burned with one of Bakery Nouveau's twice-baked chocolate croissants. I prefer to think of it as strategic carbohydrate replenishment. Everything here is exceptional. The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree. Bakery Nouveau is worth every extra minute on the bike.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. What catches my eye is the stack of pancakes that welcome you to order them. Also don't forget their other specialty scrambled eggs along with egg burrito like wraps. The accompanying sauces are also equally tasty. Would I return? Absolutely. It's definitely a go to among the locals. And definitely something I'd return for! The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.

The outside was nice too as you could enjoy the weather in a relaxing patio area with nature, manicured green grass, trees, with the sounds of the trickling fountain. They also had a bar area for that very casual, louder vibe to just talk and/or catch a game on the TV. We went with the dining area and Julissa was our server and she took very good care of us. She was courteous, attentive, and thoughtful. She recommended a few of her favorites when we asked her for suggestions. Charcoal Grilled Pork Chop: coconut-ginger braised collard greens, grilled spring onion, pork jus, wasabi butter (4/5). The Double cut portion was cooked to medium. It was tender, juicy, and the juices had a sweetness to it. The wasabi butter was good and not overpowering. I'd order this again. Superfood Salad: white bean hummus, quinoa, kale, carrots, blueberries, golden berries, cashews, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, avocado, herbs, feta, lemon-sesame vinaigrette (4/5). My wife really enjoyed her salad. I admit it was full of good ingredients but a tad bit heavy-handed on the dressing. Don't get me wrong the vinaigrette was delicious. Banana Bread Pudding (5/5) - Moist, crisp on the edges, and smothered in warm caramel sauce - this decadent bread pudding paired with vanilla ice cream was absolute perfection! We'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area. Support your local business.
