Wow this Starbucks is one of the busiest as it seems to be the only coffee shop in the area? not really, but I guess their coffees and drinks are so consistent or popular that people are so used. Despite being hectic, the staff are quite nice too and the wait for the drinks ain't too bad. The place definitely is due for a revamp though. Hard to find a seat as it is always packed so suggest to grab the drinks and food and just take a nice stroll. Always seems to be a line up for washrooms too but there seems to be two washroom at this shiop. I wish it would stay open later as there is clearly a demand for it. Tons of free parking at the multiple lots in the area, that is if you can find one as it gets super busy, especially during summer and the holidays. read more

I love Starbucks in general, but this particular site is average, at best. I did like the cute, small patio outside, surrounded by a white, picket fence. Super cute! It also has patio tables with umbrellas (which was great when I visited, as the sun was shining down fiercely). Inside, they have a decent amount of Starbucks merchandise. I t was a bit confusing, which line to go into to order one's drinks. Initially I waited in the wrong line (where people were waiting for thier orders, after they've already ordered and paid). It could be a bit clearer, which line to go to. The girl who took my order was young but friendly. Since I recently got an email from corporate that some of my "stars" were "expiring soon", I asked the girl to please use my stars. She said she couldn't, as I apparently didn't have enough. (?). I asked, what, can you not apply the stars I have that are soon expiring towards this order? She said no. So I guess I'll be losing these stars as I can't apply them to an order. What kind of policy is this? Starbucks corporate has been changing their loyalty/reward program lately and it's definitely NOT for the better. I wanted to get my friend her preferred peach drink but was told they were all out of the peach flavoring/juice that day. Bummer. Outside, the patio had one vacant table. We had to navigate over and around chairs and tables and an umbrella stand that were placed (by customers, I presume) right in front of the patio entrance. It wasn't easy getting inside, TBH. (We thought the employees should be making sure that the access to the patio was clear and hazard-free. Anyone with any mobility issues would NOT have been able to enter this area, no way). And the table we sat at was dirty, with a drink spill on it and an empty Starbucks drink holder. Um, not cool. Needless to say, we didn't stay here long. The one good thing about my visit here: they made my drink perfectly. It was really good. So, there's that. read more

I've got to say, this location is by far the best one I've been to as of yet. I'm not sure if I was just lucky and went at a good time, but my order was made very quickly, and the atmosphere that the staff presented themselves in had that extra little flair that you'd wish you get every time you visit. As for the selection of drinks/food, it's standardized like all the other Starbucks but this location was very well stocked! I love this location, it's in the heart of Unionville and has great atmosphere. Nice and cozy, makes it suitable for meetups or work. The store is clean and the staff are very energetic and friendly, especially early in the morning. They have a couple of tables inside and a few tables outside during summer and you can sit down and enjoy your coffee. read more

I have gone to this particular Starbucks for years now, and my most recent visit was during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under normal circumstances, this place is decent for a good drink. Being located on Main Street Unionville definitely helps. When I decide to stay there I find a table on the upper floor, which I perceive as cozy and having a nice atmosphere. The staff are cordial and are not judgmental when you ask them what a macchiato is. It's a great place to chill by yourself or maybe with someone else; three is a bit stuffy and four's definitely a crowd. During the pandemic, I was glad to see the store practice proper quarantine procedures. All the staff wore masks, social distancing lines were in effect, and the only tables were the ones outside that are rigorously cleaned. The menu is standard for any other Starbucks, as is their quality. Although I was a bit miffed when half my guava passionfruit coconut drink was two-thirds ice. Coming here is less of a choice and more of an inevitability. I'll be sure to update this review once the quarantine lifts. read more

It was a breezy autumn afternoon when we stopped in for a hot drink. The staff working were friendly and greeted us in between making drinks. There's seating on the ground floor as well as upstairs where you can overlook the seating below. There was an unfortunate incident one summer while sitting by the window upstairs. Starbucks in Old Unionville is the most cozy Starbucks I been to yet!! Plenty of seatings and those comfy armchairs of course my favourite to park myself there to write some yelp reviews and upload photos via there Free Wifi! One problem of this location is the acoustic of the space, it can get really noisy, I can hear every single conservations of people talking/arguing/flirting downstairs.. it is definitely not a quiet, serene environment for one to chill. BTW, there are now a bunch of Grown men yelling at each other having a great time! Wondering what shots the barista put in their coffees! Maybe I should I one of those too! This is my go-to Starbucks because it's literally down the street from where I live. As a writer, I do much of my writing at coffee shops. I like this Starbucks because there is ample of seatings upstairs as well as on the main floor. Also, plugs are easily found along the side of the walls and the distance from the table to a plug is reasonable. Moreover, the wifi works perfectly fine in the location but the speed does get slow when there's a lot of people on it. If you're wanting a place to do work and study, I recommend this location! Typically, I like to come during the week day because there's less people, which also means it's less boisterous. During the weekend, this Starbucks could get crazy crowded. The baristas at this store location are kind and friendly. For the volume of people that come here, they turn out drinks at a decent wait-time. read more

This is our usual store but lately it's been pretty gross. The baristas are friendly and make delicious drinks, however when we were at this location a few weeks ago and noticed the food/baked items window full of fruit flies. One or two not a huge deal, but there were multiple flies flying around and also perched on top of food items. When I mentioned this to the person taking my order, she said that it was normal and that they didn't serve food from the display. I was shocked by that answer and it led me to question the cleanliness of this location. I have NEVER seen a display with that many flies flying around. Last week in Squamish, I looked into the display and there weren't ANY flies. I mentioned this to the person taking orders there and she was also shocked about our experience with this location. Finally. A healthy lunch to grab on the go thats satisfying and tastes good. The Zesty Chicken Black Bean Salad from Starbucks is less than 400 calories and packs 19 grams of protein. It comes with a mild tomatoey vinaigrette dressing that I suspect contains most of the meal's 13gm of fat and 13 gm of sugar. I would get this again but sub some chunky hot salsa for the vinaigrette to make it even zestier and healthier. With 690 mg of sodium, it's not recommended if you're trying to cut back on your salt. Me, I'm a salt lover and found no need, as I usually do, to add any. The price seems a little steep at first glance but this ain't just lettuce. There is a lot of chicken, black beans,quinoa, plus delicious roasted corn and feta cheese. Worth the $10. read more

We very much like this Starbucks. Unlike the typical Starbucks which is ransacked by young hipsters getting their fancy teas and juices, this one is actually situation the old little village of Unionville, along with their old Unionville train station, and old Unionville bandstand. Along Main Street are a number of restaurants and pubs and other neat little shops and is a Nice place to stroll and wander. Main Street used to be Kennedy Road in the mid to late 20th century. It's a great place to have a cup of coffee outside sitting on the chairs and tables watching people as they walk by. Unionville is a neighbourhood and former village in Markham, Ontario, Canada 33 km northeast of downtown Toronto. It is also steps from the Toogood Pond Park, a beautiful park where many locals walk and jog through each day. It was a small town developed over a century since the late 1790s and has a lot of history. Believe it or not... The main street has been a stand-in for fictional Connecticut town Stars Hollowduring the first season of Gilmore Girls television show. Service is impeccable at this Starbucks. Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is clean and well kept. read more

I was looking for the nearest Starbucks with the Starbucks app's store locator and found this little gem. What makes this store different is that it's located on Unionville's famous Main Street. Being a historical landmark, this Starbucks received the olde town treatment. Inside, this Starbucks had a welcoming atmosphere as if you were home. Having 2 floors, this place had ample seating littered with cozy couches and tables. It was busy during my visit. While the staff were friendly, they seemed inexperienced and inefficient. Staff are very friendly here, and I've never had a bad experience with them before. The actual building is really nice. Spacious with two levels, different kinds of seating is available (stools, couches, tables), and generally very clean. The music is at a comfortable volume making it fantastic for meetings and studying. However, the main problem I have with this location is that the wifi is always spotty at best, and not available at its worst. It's such a shame, because otherwise, this would be one of my favorite places to get work done. read more

This place is a beehive, buzzing with people coming and going. A two storey building, you'd think it would have enough seating for anyone wanting to park their behind in a chair for a few moments. Well, you may get lucky.... or not: There are always plenty of students, budding entrepreneurs, and other type of laptop users parked at every table. There a could of leather couches and a fireplace on the ground level. As much as I like seeing those at coffee shops, I think here they would be justified is they decided to sacrifice those in favour of a couple of extra tables and some extra chairs. With a nice patio area, and a larger-than-expected interior, this is one of the most generous locations in terms of seating. The baristas are quite nice here, but can get extremely busy when the rush comes in. Depending on the day and time, or even the weather, this Starbucks can have a line that goes out the door! Definitely one of mu favourite Starbucks near home, but don't come here just to stop-and-go. Make sure you have some time if you plan on coming to this location. read more

I've never been to Unionville but omg it's beautiful! You can tell there's a lot of history and a lot of effort goes into maintaining the look of historical buildings. That's why this particular Starbucks in housed in a much different building than you'd normally see. It looks more like a home than a coffee shop. Inside is lovely. It's two levels, which is awesome! The only other one I've seen with two levels was midtown toronto. Tons of comfy chairs, tables and bar stools to choose from. The service was fast and polite and of course everything tasted on point (gotta love that quality control). They say location is everything and with a chain it takes a good location to stand out. This Starbucks does an amazing job. The whole downtown area itself is gorgeous. The only issue (hence the 4 stars) was the parking. As with any downtown area, it's a pain. read more

This is my favourite Starbucks location in Ontario. While it can be busy at peak hours, it offers different areas for guests. There is an upstairs area for studying and quiet conversations, and a lounge area downstairs. The lounge area downstairs is perfect for a small gathering of a family or young professionals that would enjoy a fireside chat because of the ambience and the installation of a fireplace. There is also neat decors such as books and vintage pictures of Starbucks! PS: For those that have been to the Harvard University Starbucks in Boston, MA - it has a similar vibe but just smaller. This can very well be the best Starbucks in Canada. Unfortunately they do not have the Clover brewing machine or the Starbucks reserve edition coffee selection. As of today, they've got a lot of 2015 end-of-life-cycle merchandise such as tumblers and mugs! Get on that discount if you are into that kind of stuff. read more

This is one of the coolest Starbucks (and my personal fave) in Toronto. It's in a little two story house in Unionville, has a fireplace, books, sofas, etc... Very cozy place to warm up to a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Fast service and I come here every weekend actually. So what's up with the 2 stars you ask? Well... the flies in here drive me nuts! Come to this Starbucks in the summer and you'll see what I mean. They're everywhere, including inside of the bakery display case (not exaggerating)! Main Street Unionville Starbucks has RENOVATED!!!!! at least since the last time I was home... April 2009?... There is now a bookcase with a fireplace, and their large grungy sofas are no longer existing. Instead, there some comfy arm chairs, with more tables along the back on the bottom floor. Seems like a little bit of wasted space and a few more tables could be added, but none the less.. still portrays a cozy place within my favourite place by my house. This Starbucks, opened for New Years (YAY), stays consistent with most of the better ones I've experienced - courteous service, well made drinks, and people who seem to enjoy their jobs at least. I just wish that were was more than just a unisex washroom in the place. read more
