The staff at this location are very friendly and helpful. We found a nice table outside, and one of the employees offered to change the direction of the umbrella, so we would have more shade. There were about six people waiting for their drinks, but it took 10-15 minutes for our frappuccinos. We normally order them half sweet, but just went with regular sweetness this time. I'm not sure if it was an off day, but our drinks tasted very watered down, with little flavor. It was nice to sit outside though, despite the hot, humid weather. read more

Went on a Happy hour Thursday for a little treat. Got two different amount of drink.Took forever to get my order and people who came after me got their order before me. Then I found out they accidentally gave my order to the wrong person. It was extremely disorganized and a bit chaotic. I felt like the baristas didn't know what they were doing. Amazing customer service at this location, from the moment you step in to the moment you receive your order and when you leave. It was also very steady, with at least one or two customers in line pretty much the whole three hours I was there. This Starbucks probably has the friendliest and the most cheerful baristas. They're quick, attentive, and try to make some small talk with their customers. They're always fully staffed and they always get my order right. I also find this location put out their new merchandise rather quickly compared to other stores. read more

The time we were there, the whole store was running out of napkins and sleeves, and one of our drinks was made wrong!! Well, it's a Starbucks so what's the point of writing about the coffee? Here are a few things that are spacific to this store: The music is not too loud (I've lost the count of how many times, while at other stores, I couldn't talk to the other person or answer the phone because the background music). The inside is painted in some some lighter hue of green. Feels different. The community board seems to be very active, with a bunch of local events being promoted. The parking outside is adequate. There are two electrical plugs, one in each wing of of the store. Which means there are four table that can make use of them. There is not a lot of seating here. The store is not very big. I was surprised I was able to get a good table so easily. I suppose it's not always this way. read more

Located right on the corner of Highway 7 and Markham Road, this location attracts plenty of locals - families, elderly, students, etc. Markham District high school is very close by, so you'll likely see plenty of students right around lunch or after school times. There are always, always long line-ups here during the winter latte sales and summer frappucino happy hours - from 2 -5pm or whenever the sale time is, there are long, long line-ups. The staff here are mostly students, and they're generally always super friendly, helpful and quick. During the summertime, they put out 2-3 tables outside with umbrellas so you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. There are a handful of tables insides, but it can get pretty cramped and uncomfortables with line-ups right beside or behind you. One thing I love about this location, is that they always have a small pole/stand you can tie your dog to, and there's also a small water bowl for them - so considerate considering the number of families who come here with their pets. There aren't too many parking spots and no bike racks or parking, so people usually just prop them up or tie time to a parking pole/sign for a quick bit. read more

Store is standard size of a Starbucks - small therefore a waste to stay & wait for table to open 3. A lot of Asian people & elderly like to come in & semi-scream at each other to communicate 4. But being right on the corner of Highway 7 and Markham makes going in and out a bit of a hassle, especially as I leave to go East! Baristas are super nice though, and friendly despite the early mornings. Nice and quick, never having the line build up and gets through the morning rush with ease. Drinks are consistent and super fast. Haven't spent more than 5 minutes in the store! Lots of parking, especially in the mornings, which is a great thing! This location is absolutely perfect for me since it's walking distance and on a great street. Staff are always friendly and you can tell they work fast and hard as possible. During the summer it gets extremely busy but you can't blame them for that. The inside is very cozy with smooth jazz music and relaxing dim lighting. I always go with friends to grab a quick Frappuccino before heading out or after a long day at work. Lots of outside seating too which is great! Very cute location. It's in a neighbourhood in Markham that looks very reminiscent of an old time Christmas movie lol. But anyways, the lady at the counter (not sure of her name but she has beautiful curly hair), was very friendly and when I asked if their cookies were peanut free, she was very informative and even recommended other peanut free goodies to purchase.
