London Fog Tea Latte - Aromatherapy in a cup made with Teavana Earl Grey. It's so very good!
    Karen V.

This has become my fave as far as Starbucks locations are concerned. It's in our neighborhood and I didn't realize how convenient the drive-thru service is during the early morning commute until just recently. I've been coming here more for their tea lattes. Why? Because I make my own coffee at home, and I like it better. I'd rather get something that I don't make well. Besides that, I'm more into the aromatic tea lattes during the holiday season. It's so comforting and calming. I've actually had a nicer commute this week because of it. My recent finds are the hot Matcha Green tea and the London Fog tea lattes. You won't find the London Fog tea latte on the store menu, but you'll see it on their website. It's aromatherapy in a cup (or it is for me). They have other tea lattes, but this one is my favorite. The grande size has 2 Teavana Earl Grey tea bags steeped in warm milk. They put something else in there to sweeten it. Maybe some cinnamon syrup, but I'm not quite sure. All I know is that it's my new favorite hot beverage from Starbucks. I'm also a huge fan of their Matcha Green tea. I don't know what kind they use, but ground Matcha leaves are typically full of good antioxidants. It contains that as well as some sweeteners so maybe not as healthy as one you would make at home, but the taste is all there. You can make it as healthy as you want it to be with non-fat milk and no sweetener. Anyway, I like the service at this location. I also come here for the mini vanilla bean scones. They are small enough, and easily satisfy my sugar craving when needed. I've never been a big fan of their espresso. It has always been hot or miss for me. I just don't like that burnt coffee bean taste. The espresso blends branded as Blonde have been less bitter. Other than that, this place is a winner for me.

Warm S'Mores Bar -Square bar jammed into a round "oatmeal" cup. No bueno.

We have been back to this new Starbucks many times since it opened a few months ago. The quality and service has declined terribly. The last visit (yesterday) was so bad I feel I'll never be back because of the ridiculously terrible service and quality of the drinks and snacks. Let me elaborate: First Strike: Out of at least 4 people working, not one acknowledged us for at LEAST 5 minutes. And they weren't doing anything! Not one person who worked there had a smile, or acted like they wanted to be there. They were all so decidedly unpleasant. Second Strike: I was with fellow Yelperazzi Jessica T and she ordered a "Cafe au Lait", modified. Starbucks is known for modifications of any type, but the guy told her he'd TRY to do it but didn't know how it would turn out "because THIS location doesn't have sweetened condensed milk". What! Incidentally, they tried but the drink turned out awful. When we asked them to make something else, we were charged for it with no apology. Third Strike: We both ended up with 2 very watered-down and unenjoyable pumped-up-priced Chai Tea Lattes. Fourth Strike: I ordered a Sweet Treat -A S'Mores Bar. He at first placed it in a bag. He knew we were lounging in as he saw we had already taken a table. When I asked him if I could have it warmed, he acted like I was putting him out. After heating up the S'Mores Bar, he proceeded to grab an "oatmeal cup" and jammed the square-shaped bar into the round oatmeal cup, breaking the graham cracker apart. I feel I can no longer support Starbucks at all after this awful experience. If you compare Starbucks prices to most Mom & Pop coffee houses, Starbucks is always the pricier choice. I'd rather support the Mom & Pops coffee houses, as I've lost faith in Starbucks altogether. 39/100

Since this is the relocated Lithis Pinecrest Starbucks, the great staff moved with the store. Yeah!! Great lattes guaranteed!! This is a beautiful new store, much bigger than the old one. Much more seating. Nice to have a parking lot dedicated to this store and not shared with other businesses. However, having to take the road to get to the new Walmart to get here, can be a nightmare. Tons of traffic to get in and out of the new businesses cropping up there. This Starbucks has a new drive thru which should make many happy. I would give it five stars if it weren't for the difficulty getting in and out because of traffic. But, perhaps the most consistent Starbucks, so therefore my favorite!

Are you feeling like a power bowl, a coffee, a vape, a matcha, Kratom, kava....it's all here! Not only is it here, it is delicious and served up by an awesome team led by a very cool owner. I have always disliked matcha (and I've tried it all over the world...) I mentioned that to the owner and he said "Nooooooo- you've not had it made the right way!" And he gave me an awesome education about matcha. Even shared the one he was making so I could experience it the way God intended....with an "ahhhhh" , a smile, and a chocolate cold foam mustache! Perfection! It didn't taste like dirt, it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry in liquid form! We intended to pop in for a coffee, stayed for a coffee, a matcha, an education, and the cool vibes put out by the folks here. They actually talk, smile, laugh and joke with their new friends (aka. customers) which is a very nice change from some places you go these days. Thanks so much for the magical mouth magic Moon Mountain...we will be back soon! You have created a Lunartic!

I friend recommended this place for their coffee and homework time. So I proceeded to do the same today. The music is THE best, I loved every song they have put on. They have a guitar for any artist to play and many drink options like kava tea, loose leaf, coffee, smoothies, beer, sodas and more! The barista/bartender Zoey was super sweet! She answered all my newbie questions and recommendations. I tried their iced latte with coconut and caramel which was DELISH. The coffee was smooth with a strong flavor which I like, but not bitter. I will for sure be back! This is my fav spot now for homework sesh time in the Brandon area.

But then, they kept luring me in with their unique twists of Asian inspired mocktails featuring their premium espresso blends and Naga teas. Now, they have a menu of favorites based off of their customer's preferences as well as an assortment of seasonal cookies and buns from Ngot Baked Goods and Le Moment Patisserie. I discover something new every time. It's become my favorite guilty pleasure when craving boba, coffee, or sweets. My favorites so far are the Pandan Caramel (coffee or tea version), Midnight Taro Storm, Cloud 9, Mango Matcha, Daydream Lychee Espresso, and Mocha Eclipse. I haven't seen the latter one in awhile, and that may be because Black Sesame isn't as popular around here. I can only hope that they bring back more of it. What do I miss from Naga? The croffles!! I've tried them at other places, and they're just not as good as the ones I had at this location. Duo Café keeps changing things up, so maybe it will happen again one day. I also wish for better lids on their boba tea drinks. You can no longer shake them. It has to be stirred in order to mix up the components of the drink. Other than that, it's still one of my favorite places to visit in the Brandon/Valrico area. The service is always great. The drinks are perfect every time. It also happens to be dangerously close to me and way too convenient for that quick stop on the way home. It's a great concept that shouldn't be missed when visiting Valrico.

It's a pretty big cafe with big tables for a group of friends or large families. It seems to be a place for all age groups as I saw kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults. They had "How to Train your Dragon" the live action playing while I was there which is a bonus in my book. They also had some arcade games, board games, and lots of chess boards. Relaxed seating area and everything is a bit mismatched, but that just adds to the vibe. The bathrooms are STUNNING. I've never been to a cafe with a bathroom that fancy whoa. The service was very friendly, gave us recommendations based on the popular items ppl get. I got the velvet amber half decaf and my partner got the cinnamon toast latte. Both were great. They also serve Kava, Teas, mushroom gummies, and additives you can add to your drink. They also offer CBD consultation. Overall, I will be coming back to battle some of my friends in chess and do my study dates there.
