This story is located inside the Willowbrook mall, right in front of the food court. Very popular and crowded. They have some wonderful Starbucks merchandise, very nicely decorated. We had to wait about 5 minutes in line to order. Both baristas at the back were super efficient, handing out drinks rapidly. They were not wasting time in gossiping at all. We got our 3 drinks within few minutes after the order. My strawberry acai was perfectly made. My daughter finished her cake pop in few minutes too, must have a good cake. Starbucks inside Willowbrook Mall (not Macy's) Wednesday, December 13, 2023 6:15pm. Ordered a Chai latte. The female (latina?) cashier with big colored curly hair was friendly, knowledgeable and gave good service. The line to order moved well. The Caucasian male barista with glasses at the bar, ruined my experience. After waiting over 15 minutes for my drink and asking about it politely, He says with sass, "Yea I have your cup right here, it has only been a few minutes." (He was completely out of routine and was working on 1 drink at a time instead of following the drink-making procedure.) The appropriate response would have been to apologize if he was backed up. After receiving my drink, I showed him my recent with the time stamp, of how long I had to wait for my drink...a 2nd chance for him to apologize. He muttered something under his breath and ignored me. Someone needs to have a conversation with him. read more

This was my favorite location as a kid, but it seems now that the entire willowbrook mall is a dumpster fire, including this location. It's poorly managed, one employee training a new employee in the middle of the day with the line wrapping around the food court. People who ordered after me got their beverages and I waited 20 minutes and then just left empty handed. Was here earlier today...and I actually came to Willowbrook Mall JUST to stop at this Starbucks. Is it a special Starbucks? No-it's small and stuck in the middle of the mall. Was it a magical experience? No- but here's the deal...on an afternoon during the days of Christmas shopping hell, with only three people working, they got me in and out in about two minutes... I was sucking down my fru fru triple shot white chocolate mocha and back wandering the mall with nothing but smiles from the workers. Finally! I've been waiting for someone to add the Food Court Starbucks to Yelp. (Yes, I know I could have done it. But I'm lazy. And it's hard to enter businesses into Yelp with a Latte in my hand.) It's smack-dab in the center of Willowbrook Mall - the perfect location! The baristas here are fast & accurate, as any food court resident should be. And I strongly prefer it to the Macy's Starbucks, because going there would mean I'd have to go to Macy's. I feel like I should point out their excellent customer service: A few months ago, I brought my mug (how eco-friendly of me!) and ordered my usual. It was very busy that day and somehow the barista forgot me! I was left waiting for about 15 minutes. The cashier looked up, saw me waiting, grabbed my mug, pushed it to the front of the line, apologized profusely, and gave me a coupon for a free drink for next time. Awesome. BUT - I strongly suggest you avoid it like the chicken pox during non-school hours, when hoards of teenagers flock to get their blended caramel mocha ... whatever ... with extra whipped cream. Absolutely disgusting service. As another fellow employee of the mall who is considerate of the fact that others are busy I still expect my issue to be handled properly. Barista made me look like a complete ass of myself because she didn't know proper customer service and how to fix a mistake made from their end during peak hours. I believe it's people that are chosen to be hired for this location. Me and all my co workers refuse to order anything from this location so we don't have to deal with the frustrations of trying to get the mistakes THEY MAKE fixed. TERRIBLE customer service, honestly. I stood in line at 1:10 in the afternoon and ordered a venti dark roast. Sorry, we don't make dark roast after 12...what? The mall is open for hours after this. Don't you use that to make ice coffee? thought this was the drive-thru Starbucks on Willowbrook blvd, but I guess it's the one located in the food court of the mall? Maybe the one in the Macy's? Either way I love the ability to order on my phone within the Starbucks app and pass by to pick it up, already paid for. Really convenient if you are just passing by, in transit to somewhere passing Wayne and Little Falls, or just in a rush. The space is tighter than most Starbucks locations, but it makes sense since it's a small section to a large food court area.

So this Starbucks is located at the corner of the food court from the inside of the mall..when I ordered I specifically told the gentleman I wanted a waffle cone frappuccino with EXTRA caramel....line was moving right along, problem was when I received my drink it wasn't extra caramel...I also noticed the gentleman who took my order rush to grab lunch and came back to find his way to the back...I didn't deduct a star because once I got back on the moving line I told the lady at the register, I asked for extra caramel when I ordered AND she actually was so awesome that she made me a new cup right away..awesome A+++ service read more

I have never had a good experience at this Starbucks. Never. I look forward to my Starbucks in the morning, on my way to work, and this place ruins the experience. For starters, the staff is 99% of the time talking amongst themselves or actually playing on their cell phones when you come in. No joke. I am shocked this is allowed. They are always preoccupied, which is probably why they have screwed up my drink the majority of the time - and its not even a complicated drink. I've walked out TWICE because they screwed up my drink and been fairly rude about fixing it.
